You’ve just made the biggest deal out of absolutely NOTHING! Relax! Obviously the majority of you know nothing about male/female relations at an older age. There is nothing wrong with holding a guy/girls hand if you’re not going out with them, NO BIG DEAL! I do it with my guy friends sometimes, it means nothing at all, it’s all in good fun! You all just need to calm down before all you have nervous breakdowns, lol.

This whole photo scandal has nothing to do with Zac so he shouldn’t have to be brought down by it and he has absolutely nothing to answer for. He has contractual obligations to fulfil for the movie and I’m sure both Zac and Nikki are happy and relieved they can do this together because they are obviously fantastic friends and thoroughly enjoy each other’s company, and there is NOTHING wrong with that - regardless of whether Zac is going out with Vanessa or not. It is not illegal to have close/best friends of the opposite sex, even if you are in a relationship!!!
Now in regards to Zac supposedly not “supporting” Vanessa because he hasn’t defended her publicly or hasn’t “been there” for her, well before she grows some balls, faces the music and speaks about it publicly HERSELF, he shouldn’t have to say anything at all, it’s not his problem even if he is her “boyfriend”. Her cancelling her appearance on Jay Leno has only escalated the situation by the way.
And for those Vanessa fans saying she was “young” and “naive” when she took the pics, that’s something a 25-30 year old would say about being in a situation like this, the girl is ONLY 18 years old!!! In a couple of the photos of her posing in her underwear it is obvious these were taken at least, if not more than a couple years ago. She looks very young, completely UNDERAGE, and the thing that bugs me is that if it were another teen star or someone along the same lines – say for instance Hayden Panettiere who is relatively the same status - you would be crucifying them like there was no tomorrow and would be saying that they are no longer a good role model!! The majority of Vanessa fans are hypocrites and truth be told Vanessa herself is a hypocrite because she repeatedly claims she is a fantastic role model for young girls and has very good morals… umm excuse me, what the??? Forgive me if I’m wrong but a girl who claims she possesses these qualities is classy and respectful and does not take nude/candid pictures of herself just to impress a boy or to keep them interested. It is beyond naive and ignorant. She knew exactly what she was doing and by no means is she “innocent” pffft… What a joke. She is provocatively posing, smiling cheekily and it is blatantly obvious that she was not taking the pictures reluctantly.
And finally if people want to argue that they were taken in “private” that’s all well and good, but when people say they were taken before she was “famous”, that’s a load of BS. She has said herself she has been in the business for years and knew she wanted to stay in the business either musically or acting wise so she would be well aware of the do’s and don’ts in Hollywood and how the industry/media works - the girl is not completely dumb - although after this incident that can be questioned. I’ve said enough! If I’ve offended anybody, I apologise but I’m only telling it like it is.

I will say this:
I now see why Z and V keep their relationship under wraps for so long.
If I were Z, I would be tempted to get rid of V after reading some of these comments just for my own sanity. I love and support V but some of don’t sound like FANS, you sound FANATICAL. I don’t know anything about Nikki but I think she is being used as a scapegoat because people are worried that a breakup is impending (if it didn’t happen already). I hope that is not the case and Z and V are able to stick it out because they are such a cute couple. Either way, I am going to support V and try to put out positive vibes. The issue is only a scandal because the public is treating it like one.

1. ¿What is in Vanessa’s Mind with all of this?…because it’s not the first time that Zac make things that cause the media and fans have something to talk..
2. ¿What is going on Zac’s Mind too? why he change too much with the people he have arround..yes okey I’m gonna tell…I don’t like his actitude changes when he’s with Nikki or with Vanessa, or Ashley..all of them are co-stars…but he really dosen’t treat them in the same way…and we all know that Zac & Vannesa are a couple..soo why he’s soo distant?…someone said that when all this stuff of HSM started…in the pics they took they look soo comfortable..now i don’t think it’s the same..
3. Guys seriously…¿What do you think you’re to bash Nikki or Zac or Vanessa?..we don’t know them…only for interviews or photos…but that things don’t give us the power to make judments and harsh opinnions about them…
and finally..
I’m 19 and I have friends, we hold hands..no problem with that..
but!…i’m sure that my Bf wouldn’t like too much if I hold hands with a friend who I have made-out and been all cozy in public..even if he’s my BFF and all that

I didn’t really know much about her, Zac and Nikki before all this stuff happened, it was only when I found out about the photo situation I read up about them a bit more. I was just expressing my views/thoughts on the situation and how I personally see it. Obviously not everybody is going to agree with me and vice versa but hey, all I can really say is I just analysed the situation from my perspective. Like I said at the end of my post, I apologise if I offended anybody with my opinions.

When I first read this new, I really disappointed with Zac when he did not show any concern about Vanessa. But some you guys make some good points here and they change my mind. I undersand now and hope Zanessa will together to get over this time.
Your guy said right that Zac is just doing his job and he does not show any emotion or caring about Vanessa on that situation because he does not want his emotion affect the promo; and that way he is professional. Moreover, I dont think Vanessa want her scandal affect her boyfriend’s carrer. So she might make the deal with Zac do not tell anything about her stuff right now. By the way, the less you talk about, the faster it pass away. Zac do not talk about her scandal, it will quickly fall into oblivion. So this is a wise way them they solve the proplem.
I saw he still wears the ring and specially he just show it up, not hiding like in some other pictures before. I think he wants everyone know that although he is not be there with Vanessa right now, he is always beside her, support her in either as the boyfriend or best friend.
Nobody know what is going with Zanessa but just hope that behind the screen, they are still OK!

Um…what is WRONG with you guys??? Nikki is so great! She’s beautiful inside and out and not snobby like Vanessa. God! I think Zac had dumped Vanessa over the pictures or way before that! Geez, if he was still girlfriend and boyfriend with Vanessa, why would he say ON TV that him and Nikki “have a thing?” That’s really mean of you guys to say that she’s in love with him but he doesn’t like her and she takes his kisses too seriously. Well, um, if someone kissed you, you would take it pretty seriously, wouldn’t you? And hello, they are always holding hands, hugging, their arms around each other…um…boyfriend/girlfriend alert!!!! AND he said in J-14 magazine (this is REAL!!!!) that he didn’t like a girl to wear too much makeup, and it didn’t matter to him how much they weighed.
