some people here make a good point. but come to think of it, if you were the girlfriend a.k.a vanessa, how would you feel? do you want to feel neglected? put his career on top of you?

Guys there are lots of pictures of Zanessa holding hands and more. Just look on this Website. Jared’s but dozens up. the Teen Choice awards, those infamous Hawaii pictures, a few on the red carpet for HSM2.
And everybody who thinks that the picture of Zac with his arm around Nikki is too much. I’ve seen red carpet photos of him with his arm around Lucas Gabreel! Zac’s apparently a physical person. It might just be Zac likes to hug.

amen to #37. his promotion was probably scheduled ahead of time, and it’s not like he could have just dropped out of it people! how does that look - to not go promote your movie because your girlfriend is crying? oh yeah, real professional. that’s not how hollywood works.
and all this hand-holding with nikki doesn’t mean anything!! at least they’re good enough friends to do it in front of the camera, KNOWING that vanessa is still zac’s girlfriend.
I’m too shocked at the atrocious (that means bad) grammar and spelling to even begin to comment on the trash you people are talking. There’s no need to hate Nikki because you like Zanessa. There’s no need to hate Zac because he was professional enough to honour his contractual obligations. Nobody on here really knows Zac or what’s really going on so we’re not in a position to judge. Nobody know the full story behind the picture scandal either so making assumptions and asserting that what you want to have happened is actually the truth makes you look stupid.
Now I’ve made a stand for common sense I’d like to point out that Hairspray is a great film and both Zac and Nikki looked great.

Zac may be wearing a “ring” Vanessa gave him, but he’s also wearing a “bracelet” another friend gave him and a “necklace” another friend gave him! You’re getting too excited about this ring business. This guy is a VERY nice guy, who has lots of friends who give him “jewelry” to wear. Zac says out of his own mouth that he calls it a “FRIENDSHIP RING,” not a commitment ring.
That’s why gals get into so much trouble with guys. They don’t LISTEN — Friendship Friendship Friendship. LOL He has every right to enjoy promoting his other on-screen romantic interest, who happens to have become “a” best friend too. Go Nikki! There is nothing the fella can do about Vanessa’s past indiscretions that have now cought up to her to bite her in the behind (fun pun intended).

Zac’s attitude towards Vanessa is so confusing. One minute, he seems to like her, the next it looks like he wants to be as far away from her as possible. Maybe Zac and Vanessa should just break up. It’s probably make things a hell of a lot easier for both of them, seeing as Zac can’t seem to make up his mind. Maybe he is too young to be in a relationship.

Oh my God, everyone here shut up about Zac neglecting Vanessa! You don’t know that. The man is supporting his film, promoting his film. No one here knows what’s going on behind the scenes. I agree with Rebecca and Ashleigh because they seem to be the only logical people on here. Geesh. Zac and Nikki are best friends, they support each other, and are being there for the other. They both look amazing, are promoting their film, the end.
Zanessa’s need to grow up. Those “rings,” that everyone is so obsessed with as a symbol of infinity, aren’t forever.

If you people were truly Zac fans you would like him regardless of who he is dating or what he is doing with his personal life. Some of these comments are just ignorant and completely ridiculous. You people are just bitter and obviously feel threatened. It’s sad really.
I feel sorry for some of you if Zac and Vanessa ever do break up…with the way you all act like you involved in their relationship, I am afraid you might go out and hurt yourself.
Anyway, Zac and Nikki looked amazing and I thought the handholding and the way they looked at each other was adorable. I think they are both incredibly talented and will continue to support them regardless of who they are dating or what is going on in their live. Because that is how it should be.
Zac must be a really great guy behind closed doors. Or he has a really good excuse as to why he treats Vanessa the way he does in public. Because if Zac treats Vanessa behind closed doors the same way he treats her in front of the cameras, then Vanessa probably would have dumped his sorry little ass a long time ago. I know if my boyfriend constantly made me feel like I wasn’t important to him and flirted with other girls in front of the entire world and wouldn’t touch me, he’d be gone and packing his things by the next day. It’s not something Zac’s just starting to do, it’s something he’s been doing for awhile know. Vanessa must really love him if she’s willing to put up with his crap. I know I wouldn’t.

It’s hollywood folks. These people know that their jobs are to entertain at all times, There have been plenty of storys about Acters and Actresses causing scandals just so they keep their names repeated. For all we know this conversation happened.

I honestly think that this may have been a case where like Nikki and Vanessa have a mutual respect and admiration for each other. And Zac is visibly upset in some of the other pitures that we have seen with Nikki so is it really that farfetched that his “best friend” might offer to hold his hand to help him get through a premiere?

I actually really don’t care that the dude came to promote the movie - that’s quite fine by me. What bothers me is that he’s such a ******* flirt & doesn’t seem to realize what a great girlfriend he has. Note to Zac - Vanessa is a beauty, down-to-earth & talented. She seems like the sweetest girl ever & really fun. A lot of guys would kill to hold hands with her or hell even give her a kiss in live tv, ahem. Don’t think you are the bomb. She made a misktake. So ******* what? Gonna let your managers that I’m sure are telling you now to hide your relationship more than ever, run your life? Fine. If that’s the case you don’t deserve Vanessa anyways.
