Papa Pitt and Momgelina Take Turns
Brad Pitt taking his son Maddox, 6, to his Lycee Francais de New York school on Wednesday morning.
Angelina Jolie, in a white tee, gray skirt, and white pumps, picked up Maddox from school on Tuesday afternoon.
And great movie news! Edward Norton is teaming up with Mr. Bradley for State of Play, a theatrical adaptation of the popular British miniseries.
Norton will play a US congressman whose political ambition is threatened by the suspicious death of his mistress. Pitt will play a journalist investigating the case. Pitt and Norton previously worked together on the 1999 hit film Fight Club.

Girl please don’t be to harsh on yourself. The immediate urge is to defend the jolie/pitts from the trolls. But then you realize the source of their information and you go duh and slap your forehead and say, damn I could have saved my time and energy. We have all done it. How any intelligent person could believe this dribble is beyond me. Luckly Brad and Angie know their truth. They aren’t fazed by this bullsh@t. Thread is like our special version of Reality TV..This time, it’s reality online through pix…yes, and we’re grateful to see them every morning and afternoon EVERY HOUR ON THE HOUR because it makes us indeed happy to see the Brangelina couple and kids doing well and the family bonds getting stronger by the NY minute :)

actually, i read that article in Life&Style about angie pushing brad away with her insecurities. i heard that one of Life&Style’s editors has a very close relationship with a good friend of angie’s and this editor gets all the inside scoop on this relationship. Life&Style is the one tabloid i trust.

Seriously…think about what you just said. Brad and Angie aren’t morons. They may not personally flip through tab magazines, but people that they employ (agents, lawyers, etc.) do. If there was something in L&S told to the ‘editor’ from a good friend of Angie, you honestly think neither Brad or Angie would be able to sniff out the ‘leak’? If that was even remotely true, this ‘good friend’ of Angie isn’t getting any inside information about their relationship or family anymore.

Huge increase in number of Iraqi children in Syrian schools
DAMASCUS, Syria, 11 September (UNHCR) - Tens of thousands of Iraqi children who have been forced to flee their own country started classes in Syria this week as the Syrian Ministry of Education began a new school year in which it plans to raise the number of Iraqi students to 100,000.
The Syrian Ministry of Education reported a huge increase in the number of Iraqi children who have registered. When classes resumed on Sunday and Monday, a survey of 32 schools showed a significant rise, with one school’s Iraqi enrolment increasing from five students last year to over 100 this year. A full count will be available in October.
The UN refugee agency (UNHCR) and the Ministry of Education have been preparing since the beginning of 2007 to increase the number of Iraqi children in Syrian public schools to 100,000 during the 2007-2008 school year. Syrian schools, which have accepted children from neighboring Arab countries for decades, last year enrolled over 33,000 Iraqi children. UNHCR estimates that at least 1.4 million Iraqis are currently living in Syria, some 250,000 of school age.
“The Iraqi refugee children living in Syria are the future of Iraq,” said Laurens Jolles, UNHCR representative in Syria. “Many have already missed out on a considerable amount of their education, both in Iraq and as refugees in Syria. It is one of our top priorities to support the Ministry of Education to accommodate the tens of thousands of Iraqi children who want to enrol in schools.”
In Seida Zeinab, a neighbourhood of Damascus where over 350,000 Iraqi refugees live, all schools have seen significant increases in the number of Iraqi children attempting to enrol.
For 16-year-old Nada, this is the first time in two years she has been able to attend school. In June 2005 she graduated in the top 10 students in the Baghdad region. By September 2005, three of her uncles had been murdered and Nada’s school was no longer functioning. When a fourth uncle was held for ransom, before finally being released in 2006, Nada and her family came to Syria.
“My dream in life is to be a doctor,” said Nada. “I find it really hard to study in Syria - my whole life is disrupted. Although I wish I could return to my life in Iraq, I am grateful that I have the opportunity to study again.”
During the summer break over 70 schools have been rehabilitated and equipped in areas with high concentrations of refugees. Plans for constructing eight new schools, with a capacity for over 16,000 children, have been finalized and construction is to be completed by the beginning of the next school year in 2008.
In the meantime, UNHCR is ready with a number of solutions for schools that are overwhelmed by requests for enrollment from Iraqi refugees, including transportation to alternative schools with space, temporary classrooms and the payment of teachers’ salaries for schools that undertake a double shift system.
During the past two weeks, school uniforms were distributed to over 11,000 children with the support of Syrian Red Crescent volunteers. UNHCR aims to increase this number to 20,000 in coming months.
UNHCR and UNICEF issued a joint appeal in July for US$129 million to support Iraqi refugee education in the region. Since then, UNHCR and UNICEF have established an Emergency Education Taskforce to find solutions to the many issues preventing Iraqi refugees from accessing education. By the end of 2007 UNHCR will have given the Syrian Ministry of Education over $20 million, with increased funding expected for 2008.
UNHCR’s commitment to education will enter a new stage this month when UN High Commissioner Antonio Guterres and UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador Angelina Jolie join former US President Bill Clinton at the 26-28 September meeting of the Clinton Global Initiative in a call for $220 million to ensure refugee children worldwide have access to schools.

The In Touch story this week is interesting. They are not saying a source, they are saying an In Touch Reporter is a witness to this exchange. That is a bold move for a tabloid to make. They are actually quoting her directly.

They are not quoting her directly they are quoting what the alleged reporter said he heard. A quote would be one from Angie herself to in touch. How is an un-named reporter any different from an un-named source? I can’t believe people are still spending time or conversation on that article.

Thank God you said it. Tabloids are always quoting someone directly according to that logic. Several months ago L&S had Brad and Angie breaking up on the cover (How surprising). And they wrote. “A close friend reveals that Angelina said “it’s over between us” .Is that a direct quote?? NO!!! That’s what the “friend” quoted her as saying.
Anyway the whole story is actually really amusing. Supposently Brad spents a lot of money to buy hot dogs and stuff for the kids and he is not giving them to charity.LMAO!!!

I see the trolls were out in full force today trying to make us believe all the bull the tabs were saying.
First of all, what the hell is ‘FINDITT’ ?! …and er, tell me again why I should give a sh*t that some obscure fake news wire is quoting the sh*ttiest rag out there??
You know what’s interesting….a LOT of this can be traced right to HUVANE…why you ask? To anyone who knows Brad’s history it’s obvious…Huvane and Maniston know it quite well….they are feeding a couple of moles at the tabloids what they believe are Brad’s hot button stories….believe it..this ‘trashing’ story is lifted right from Brad’s real life…only it was GWYNETH PALTROW who trashed BRAD and went around behind his back to media outlets and denigrated him and inferred he was dumb..apparently that was her strategy to explain their breakup at the time…Brad very resentfully discussed it in a couple mag interviews…it’s one of the things that disgusted him to the point of therapy and REBOUNDING with Maniston. No. Seriously. Not to mention the fact that Maniston ALSO trashed him by not even referring to him when she finally after a decade of brad bribes to the HW foreign press assoc, won a golden globe…she stabbed him in the back and trashed his character in Vanity Fair…not to mention remarking that she didn’t even know if he was the love of her life after having been with him for a handful of years…and yet..
It’s my opinion that these types of very public slaps in the face…’trashings’ if you will by paltrow and maniston led to brad dusting them off like yesterday’s news…they were toast once they disrespected him …that’s just the kind of man he is…he doesn’t play games like that…once you diss him he walks….
guess who absolutely KNOWS this about Brad…see HUVANE AND MANISTON (Oh and I don’t need to remind you who paltrow’s agent is either do I?)…
