OlderJolie Jets Outta the Big Apple
Proud parents Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie pick up son Maddox, 6, from the Lycee Francais School on the Upper East Side of NYC on Wednesday afternoon. Angelina, in a green shawl, waved to the throngs of adoring students and fans waiting outside the school for a Jolie-Pitts sighting.
Brad and Angie then returned to the Waldorf Astoria, where they packed up the kids — Maddox, 6, Pax, 3, Zahara, 2, and Shiloh, 15 months — and crammed into an Escalade.
The Jolie-Pitts rode through Central Park and Harlem before heading to Teterborough Airport in New Jersey, where the family boarded a plane and took off around 5 p.m.

Parents drop off and pick their children up all the time. Maybe, must maybe, Maddox likes having his parents do so.
I’m just curious why everyone thinks these actors are great parents. Last time I checked. Kids want love discipline security and a place called home (besides a 747 jet). Not a life on the fast lane. Yes they are really famous… However, these kids didn’t ask for this drama. If I see them drag those kids around one more city and country. I will scream!!! Did we ever think that these two aren’t the best parents? If they shuttle those kids to one more school? What kind of life is this? No stability. The mohawk trendy Maddox is going to school for a week in one city and then off to another foreign country, Los Angeles, Louisanna or wherever. We’ve heard Brad say he wants to move to Louisana What happened to that thought???? and now? … Who knows where they are going…. I don’t care if they are ACTORS working on another movie. Get a babysitter, a grandma,nanny….Brad stays at home while Angie does films. Someone has got to make sacrfiices. Don’t adopt kids if they are constantly reminded of their former lives. They need not to live like refugees.(isn’t that the point of adopting foreign kids.) This is shame. With all the unwanted American kids caught up in the foster care system we have Angie, Brad , Madonna, Sharon searching the globe for more kids. Another celebrity pastime. We ought to be ashamed for rewarding this behavior. America is so blinded by celebrity. Any rich coulple would at least give them a
home and not have them in a different hotel each week. Child protective Services need to be called . These children need guidance and a sense of security. Not a new passport at five years old. I don’t care if you believe these kids lives are better off. I don’t know if I can agree with that philosophy. BRAD AND ANGIE AS PARENTS. Letter D- Wake Up America.

How many unwanted American children have you provided a foster home or an adoptive home for lately? Ever heard of the old saying, put up or shut up?
I wonder if they are heading off to another film festival. I think there is abother Canadian film festival that will happen soon which is close to where the movie was filmed. If Brad is finished filming his latest movie, it probably is a small role.

I think they are just going somewhere to have fun, then they will come back because Mad will go to school tomorrow. Damn, I am so envy theses kids, I wish I have a wonderful life like them.

You have lost your mind if you ever had one. It’s 5PM nutty one in the afternoon, not 5AM. Matt Damon’s family travels with him and he has a 9 year old daughter and he has been all over the world the last 6 weeks promoting his new movie. So Matt and his wife are bad parents also? Will Smith’s family travels with him at all times, are he and Jada bad parents? Tom Cruise’s family always travels with him, is he a bad parent?
Brad and Angelina are damm good parents. This is the life their kids know. Home and stability is where your parents are. Their kids all look happy and healthy. Circus kids travel a lot, are their parents all bad parents?

And they never said they will live in NOLA full time. They said they will be there as often as they can. They act for a living and have to go on locations to make movies. They are a close family that loves being together and that is a great thing.
And you must certainly have adopted children or taken foster kids in since you are such an expert. Of course not, you are just full of hot nothingness.
Angelina looks good in that shade of green shawl. Darn she looks good in any color. When will be the Global Initiatives by Bill Clinton? Or maybe the Malaria Award? Who knows. We will know soon enough.
jason: just shut up! go rant on your own blog… From my own observation in my own family and friends..sthity parents leave their children to just nannies and grandmas and go have a life away from their children. No matter how busy or how famous or how rich , you should always try to have as much time with your kids, unless it’s at dangerous places or times. Kids trive with their parents . It’s call the love thing , but I guess it’s a stretch for you to understand.

I hope they are incommunicado for the rest of the week and the weekend. They’ve earned some private family time after the paps have been chasing them all over Toronto and the kids can’t go anywhere without cameras all up in their faces.
I’m beginning to realize the enormous fascination this family has for so many people. I live in NYC and as somebody said before on this thread we are used to celebrities, we see them all the time; but I have never seen anything like this.

Trolls had to show up sooner or later. Learn how to spell before posting here, would you? There is no such word as “receiting”. Sheesh.
I knew someone who did their best for their kids. Never mingle with other people & stays home most of the time but their offspring turns out to be a big pain the neck. So having a busy life does not guarantee a bad life for kids & them turning a trouble-maker.
Singer Bryan Adams used to live in different countries since his father is a diplomat. He moved to different countries from Asia to the Middle East. And he said he’s so grateful that he got to experience those different cultures from around the world, he turned out tolerant & accepting of other peoples beliefs, race, culture, etc.
I think the more you stay put in one place the more you become close-minded & xenophobic. It’s a big world out there, explore it & enjoy it!

Atlanta, GA–Your story from TransWorld is a misquote–TransWorld does this often. Pitt did NOT say, “I heard they brought me into this…” He said, “I heard they brought my mo (meaning his mother) into this.” He then goes on to say how dare they as his mother is such a loving, giving person.
Read the V article (which has been listed here often) if you want the correct news. TransWorld has a problem and is an embarrassment to Atlanta.

Am just wondering out loud: why do you think she is always dress up quite conservatively? I mean , she is beautiful in a potato sack regardless… She looks awesome in dresses, slacks and jeans or whatever but she is nowadays dress up a bit on the conservative side. For the kids or for Brad?
It’d be funny if Bradley boy is a bit jealous and doesn’t want men to ogle her so much and appreciates that she dresses conservative to avoid that
