OlderStuart Townsend: Charlize Theron is My Wife
Charlize Theron and Stuart Townsend are husband and wife (but not legally). During a dinner party at The Supper Club, the couple even showed off their rings (he has a silver cross-shaped band on his ring finger).
“I’m married,” Stuart told People. “I didn’t do a church wedding or anything, but we’re married. We’re husband and wife. “We love each other and we want to spend our lives together. [She's] the greatest woman I’ve ever met.
“We didn’t have a ceremony. I don’t need a certificate or the state or the church to say otherwise. So no there’s no big official story on a wedding, but we are married. … I consider her my wife and she considers me her husband.”
Stuart, 34, and Charlize, 32, met seven years ago on the set of Trapped. Theron attended the Toronto Film Festival to support Townsend’s directorial debut film, Battle in Seattle, a dramatized look at the 1999 World Trade Organization convention and the protests that overtook the city of Seattle and caused a state of emergency. Theron also stars in the film.
“It was really amazing tonight to premiere the film with her,” Townsend said. “She’s proud and she was crying, so it’s as important to her as it’s important to me. We’re a team and we’re in this together. That’s what you do. You look out for each other.”

Charlize is WAY prettier than Angelina. Sorry Angelina fans but she looks worst everytime I see her. And she is the one who takes herself too seriously Charlize is more fun. Charlize is to me the most beautiful woman in hollywood. And she seems really cool. That chick on that site is an idiot and is probably jealous because she’s into Stuart. ha ha. She doesn’t know the details did she ever think that maybe Stuart didn’t want her to go whoring out to the press to every journalist right now? Or it could have been a million other reasons. ANd to call Charlize a cow? Please she probably looks a million times better than you ***** and she’s got the hot guy. Every celeb is lead by their publicist too you idiot. And also Charlize did promote because she was at the press conference for the screening and was very cool. She made a funny joke about the reason she wanted to do the film was just to sleep with the director. Her and Stuart seem to be a genuinely happy, normal couple not some fake media circus. So refreshing. Charlize is the most beautiful woman in the business right now. I love the long hair on her too. She’s going to look so hot in the Will SMith movie she’s shooting.
