Vanessa Hudgens Attends Church

Vanessa Hudgens, toting around her favorite Balenciaga Giant, spends well over an hour at church on Thursday afternoon with an assistant and her family — little sister Stella, 11, and mom, Gina Guangco.

The foursome the group heads to lunch at Jerry’s Deli in Studio City, where the High School Musical star sweetened her iced tea with a combo of Sweet & Low and regular sugar. When Vanessa noticed the paparazzi snapping away, she pulled down the brim of her graffiti cap to cover her face.

Disney isn’t behind this at all. Vanessa like most Filipinos are Catholic and we tend to go to church whenever we’re going through difficult times in our lives. I know that’s what I’ve always done and it’s good to know that Vanessa is the same way. Vanessa has been a good role model ever since HSM came out and I think people should be focusing on who she is right now and not on a mistake she made in the past.

I don’t see why people tell Jared to stop posting the pictures of her going out. I’m not saying it’s ok for people to be taking pictures of her all the time, but still. Once Jared gets the pictures, they’re already taken. So why not post them? It’s not like him not posting them is going to cause the paparazzi to stop following her. They’re already taken, you might as well post it.

TO ALL THE PEOPLE SAYING THAT THE PAPS SHOULD LEAVE HER ALONE:
um she wanted to be famous! hello?! she got all the perks of being famous such as getting invited to premieres, red carpet events, going on talk shows, getting magazine covers, having adoring fans, and most of all making THOUSANDS of dollars doing disney shows…SO SHE NEEDS TO SUCK IT UP AND TAKE THE BAD PARTS WITH IT!!! you can’t have it one way! EVERYONE knows that if you become famous you’re asking to get your picture taken and will be followed everywhere, no one made her start acting/singing or push her into the pubic eye, SHE CHOSE TO BE FAMOUS which means she chosed to be photographed/followed. yeah, the paps get crazy sometimes but if you are going to famous then it comes with it DUHHH.

and for all those who are like she didn’t ask to be a role model…SAME THING!!!! if you make a disney movie, what kind of audience are you targeting??? LITTLE KIDS, so they will obviously look up to you, you can’t help it. i think its a fair trade for her to be paid thousands of dollars and just have to keep a clean image until she’s done with disney, it’s not that hard….lindsay did it and so did hilary. lindsay didn’t start all that crazy bs until she was done making disney movies and moving on to more adult stuff/adult fan base…vanessa “ness” whatever you wanna call her made a mistake and now she has to pay for it. too bad so sad.

churches have masses everyday. the masses on weekdays are usually in the morning or mid-mornings. churches also provide a service called confession. it is part of the christian faith to profess your sins in order to gain forgiveness. people need to stop judging vanessa’s every move. those pictures were taken when she wasn’t known. it’s obvious that she didn’t take them recently . im pretty sure she is more mature now then she was back then. it’s pitiful to see people get a rise out of putting someone else down. just leave the girl alone already. the story is old news and doesn’t need to become more than it really is. i love and support the girl but i believe getting our troops out of iraq is far more important than seeing what vanessa is doing these days.

Stay calm guys, she is a big star now and will get followed by the paps. It is part of the job, if they didnt follow her then she wouldnt b a ‘it’ girl. If shes not already used to it, she will soon. Its all about acceptn it and being at peace with cameras following her. She will b fine, all this interest in her will mean good things for her future!

She looks like she just wants to disappear from it all. Poor her. And I agree, church does help. It’s funny how some of you even take note of her clothing. If she dressed like she used to, in shorts and summer-y tops and started laughing and enjoying again, a lot of you would think she wasn’t being sincere. It’s pretty obvious she’s having a tough time and receiving a lot of flak with this and if I was in her position, I would probably react the same way. Be overprotective about my skin and my body and spend time with people who love me unconditionally. What she did was completely wrong and a lot of people, especially the kids and probably their parents, would be disappointed with her, but she’s dealing with the repurcussions the best that she can. Hopefully she’s learned a valuable lesson and not do it again.

Just because she’s famous, doesn’t make the paps following her around any less wrong. I speak for all girls when I say we have our period of time when we just feel depressed, want to sulk in peace and want to be left alone. And luckily, for most of us, that’s exactly what we get.

But Vanessa, she’ll never get that. She’ll never get that moment of peace. She’ll never be able to hide from all those eyes prying, watching, waiting for her to screw up again. She’ll never be able to get away from everyone and everything, because everywhere she turns, BAM, there the paparazzi will be, or there her “adoring fans” will be.

Her private life will never be private, all because everyone assumes that, because she’s famous, her buisness automatically becomes theres too. But that’s not how it works. Everywhere she turns there will be people expecting her to be perfect. Expecting her to be amazing. And she can never be perfect enough for them. She’ll never be amazing enough for them.

When she’s depressed, she’ll always have to pretend she’s happy. When she wants to sulk, she has to pretend that everything’s ok. When she wants to be left alone, she has to be constantly reminded that that will never happen.

She’s not super-human guys. She’s still a person. She still has wants and she still has needs. She still makes mistakes. Maybe it’s time you guys remember that…
