For the first time, a Southern Alberta woman has been allowed to speak about the experience of having Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie stay at her house.
The pair, and their kids, were in Calgary two years ago while Pitt was filming the movie The Assassination of Jessie James.
They rented out Katrina Robinson’s riverfront home, just west of the city, for two months.
Robinson signed a confidentiality agreement, but now that agreement is up and she decided to tell her stories only to CTV News.
“I was bursting at the seams,” says Robinson.
While staying at the home, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie learned they were expecting their baby Shiloh.
Mementoes from their stay can be found throughout the home.

If film stars think attending festivals can be tough, they should try being a fan. Earlier this month at the Venice film festival an admirer startled Brad Pitt when she broke through security to hug him, and at the Toronto International Film Festival this week Michael Douglas bypassed fans at a gala screening by entering his movie “King of California” through a parking garage.
But what about their devoted fans?
At festivals, vacations become jobs, movie screenings get crammed back-to-back and seeing films can become exhaustive experiences standing in line or pulling all-nighters.
With more than 300 movies, there is plenty to try to squeeze in during the Toronto festival’s 10 days. Last year, the festival counted more than 340,000 admissions.
“Next year I might take my vacation time during the festival,” said Jeremy LaLonde, a film editor who was in line at the Toronto festival to see Woody Allen’s “Cassandra’s Dream.” “It’s research too.”
LaLonde said he left work early to get “rush” tickets with his wife after already seeing four films this week.
University student Andrea Aldrovandi skipped class and drove more than two hours just to see one film. Other fans spend four or five hours in line.
But truth be told, festival goers said attending the Toronto festival has many good sides. Otherwise, they wouldn’t be there.
Winnie Ho, a 25-year-old engineer and festival volunteer, commutes in from Toronto’s suburbs for the festival and this year has been ushering filmmakers around the event.
“On the days we’re not volunteering, we’re watching movies,” said Gordon Tam, a 26-year-old software developer who was with Ho. By volunteering they can get in free.
Two young German women — Verena Recknagel of Dresden and Susanne Kirchner of Bavaria — have turned into top-notch star spotters, snapping photographs of Jude Law, Cate Blanchett, Clive Owen and Geoffrey Rush on red carpets across the city.
They hoped to see if rumors of a Heath Ledger appearance were true. “I’ve never seen a star like that ever,” said an excited Recknagel.
Then again, there is the girls’ story of Michael Douglas skipping the stroll up the red carpet past adoring fans to sneak into a theater via an underground garage.
“He could at least have gotten out of the car,” said Kirchner. “He was being stupid.”

When someone has to keep reminding others who don’t matter, that their relationship is intimate and sexual, that is a true sign that no intimate or sexual relationship exists. Frankly Ms. Jolie ye doth profess too much.

Have you read the interview? The interview is from May.
And what’s wrong or sexual in what she says? Maybe the problem is on your head and not in Angelina’s words.
As for the “sexual attraction”, is there — you can see it in the pics, in the videos… and everyone that are near them feel is it — they say is palpable. But there’s much more, there’s love, friendship, admiration… you can see that in their actions and words.

i know this is off topic, but i think it may have a similarity with the the jolie pitt family, i went to a certain website, and they had a picture of heid and her kids the same jared had in his website, so i decide to check the comments, my god you would want to run, some people in this world are just full of hatred and ignorance, the names they were calling these kids, especially, 2 kids heidi shares with seal, were just heartbreaking, some of them even called them the N word, and some of the words that i do not think are appropriate to say. i think this is why pax, maddox and zahara will always be bystanders in this family because some people are just plain racist, and shiloh will always be the golden child, and i believe one of the reason why the jolie pitt especially angie is hated it is because they have children of different races, and some people just do not like it, this is so stupid and i hope one day all of these differences would die

I actually thing that if you put the perfect stills of each star side by side, Angelina, to me comes out the winner but only becasue Audrey exaggerated her look. Angelina’s extreme features are natural. there are also times when I think Angelina is reminds me of Audrey from Breakfast at Tiffany’s (The picture of Angelina in a wide brimmed black hat with ribbon around it.) That same spirit is there as well as the body. Never the less I love Audrey and have her new biography that’s just yummy with amazing pictures and doo dads from events of her life.

Don’t act dumb. Regardless of when the interview was, generally whenever there’s bad press, she seems to step up her game and tries to prove the tabloids wrong. It has not changed and will not until young women stop using Movie Stars and wealthy Heiresses as role models. Everyone needs to pay attention to the reality they actually live. There have always been Movie Stars, common sense dictates that young women who are vulnerable use birth control or abstinence and education to improve their situations. It is not any movie stars fault if they are being used as role models. As for being married, people will continue to get married and not, but it seems in western civilization women are vulnerable to being harmed and many times fatally by their husbands and/or boyfriends. I will not list examples for there are too many.
I am sure all the posters can recall many examples in the news. After you have children has never been the best time to figure out how you are going to take care of them. So whether in the past or present, the responsibility for your life; whether you marry, whether you have children and are able to take care of them will always rest on the the individuals involved. The choice is theirs(ours) to choose the appropriate models for themselves and have full knowledge that we can’t blame Celebrities for our problems, we don’t really know them. Celebrities are here to provide entertainment, if they can provide inspiration to some that is fine. Everyone is responsible for their own life, and it will always be the case, yesterday, today, tomorrow.

Part of my job is to seek child support payments for children from fathers who refuse to pay court ordered support without legal proceedings being initiated. I can’t tell you how devious men (most in arrears on child support are men, a few are women) can be. About 65% of these cases involve divorces. Marriage does not make a dishonorable person honorable. People do not have to be married to each other to be good parents. Good parents are good people period with loving hearts who do the right thing as parents without being made to do so by a Court. Marriage is not some perfect panacea to solve the problem of deadbeat slimy parents. You are too simplistic if you think that it does. Freely available contraception and comprehensive sex education would go a long way to solve the problem of teen/young women pregnancies who lack adequate skills and education to support themselves. Parenting classes should also e mandatory part of middle, junior high, and high school education. Too many women I see thought marriage will solve all their problems, they have childrem, they get divorced, and then they struggle to collect what is usually a pitiful amount of child support because the ex spouse is footloose and fancy free, not even visiting the kids. That is the real life that I see daily.

Freely available contraception and comprehensive sex education would go a long way to solve the problem of teen/young women pregnancies who lack adequate skills and education to support themselves. Parenting classes should also e mandatory part of middle, junior high, and high school education. Too many women I see thought marriage will solve all their problems, they have children, they get divorced, and then they struggle to collect what is usually a pitiful amount of child support because the ex spouse is footloose and fancy free, not even visiting the kids. That is the real life that I see daily.

I think the reporter from a Spanish chanel therefor not so much attention was given to Brad’s statements. I wish that one of American tv asked Brad those questions. The American tabs are so dump sometimes they just don’t come up w/ interesting questions to ask. I watched Extra, AH last week for TYFF reporting, I was so disappointed in their coverings. Just wanted to pop in and say hello to everyone. Love these new pics of Angie in St. John. She is so versatile in her looks that she can go from edgy rocker chic to classic couture in a heartbeat. Love that about her.
Sure wish people would lay off them about marriage, how to raise the kids, how many kids to have, where to live… the list just goes on and on! They will live their life for themselves and as they see fit. As others have pointed out, they are not elected politicians and this ain’t Survivor - nobody gets a vote in what they do except themselves and the people they love!!
Laying the responsibility of young, single mothers at their feet is just absurd - first of all they aren’t 18 yrs. old and they’ve never put themselves up as ‘role models’ for how others should conduct their love lives. They are doing what works for them and aren’t responsible for some 18 yr. old getting pregnant with the wrong guy. I don’t understand why anyone would put that on them… it’s ridiculous. Besides, wouldn’t that be Britney’s fault? Ha ha! ;-) Just kidding!
That was completely phony. Just watch the video where Brad looks like he could barely choke those words out. It’s obvious he was lying. Angelina was nearby and he was scared to say different.
Soon all this “Brangelina” madness will end because everyone knows Angelina can only be entertained by one man for 2 or 3 years tops.
