i like the song and video. and i personally don’t see why they need to change their name. granted none of them are “boys” anymore, but that’s where their success stems from…and it’s not like they’re a whole new group. it’ll be weird if they changed their name to something else, imo. and i love me some brian littrell!

I still really like AJ’s voice. It’s even raspier. But, I wish the song was better. I don’t much care for it and I remember when they used to dabble with some writing on their own. I heard some better tracks back in the day than “Inconsolable.” Hopefully they’re happy though. That’s what’s important. Miss Kevin though. :/

Backstreet’s back… Hmmm, it seems they’re trying to go a little musically enhanced with “more impressive music”. Incomplete sounds similar. It’s okay, nothing like those hits they had in the 90’s.

The eclipse is a cool idea, and the camera angles and focus/soft focus are interesting. the striped sweater almost takes away from how Hot Howie looks now.

omg…i grew up listening to these guys…my first music tape was BSB…lol! granted, i dont listen to them as much as I did when i was in my teens and music tastes has definitely moved from their style of music…but either way…i still love and support them. i think its more for the emotional support i had when i was younger every time i listened to their music. and you guys who want them to disappear…theres nothing wrong with them singing. u mite not like them, but there r still lots and lots of supporters out there and they’re doing their own thing…so lay off! and as for changing the name…no way! they started as the backstreet boys…thats wat they stay as!

After listening to Inconsolable it seemed to me much of the same old school Backstreet Boys sound. Come on guys give us something fresh and different.
The song is old school Backstreet Boys as opposed to the now sound - 2007. I was disappointed. I wanted a little hip-hop or even rock. All I got was bland.
I hope all their new songs are not like that one.

i cried wile watching the video, i’ve been with the bsb ever since they first came out back in the 1990s, i love them so much! their music has always been there for me through my rough times and just seeing them or hearing their voice makes me feel so much better!!! KTBPA!!!

This single is so nice, cool.The lyrics are excellent. And I confirm, I never saw how hot Howie was before this videoclip. I still love Nick’s voice. I think they’re really mature now in all their songs. And as someone says, i can’t remember the name, sorry, their voice are still the same, beautiful and emotional.
Love it. Music and video have a more mature sound. I’ll definitely be picking up their album.

I love seeing them together — even if it’s just the four of them. The song is awesome, the video’s a bit choppy probably because it’s from Yahoo. I’m looking forward to the HQ version though. It’s kind of the music video that I was expecting — and definitely better than what they did for “Just Want You to Know” :x

I can’t believe some of you are still going on with the NSync/BSB feud. What are we in, like 6th grade?
They look great and sound great. The song isn’t the best, but it fits in nicely with the Adult Contemporary radio stations I HOPE their labels aims them towards. As for their name: only Nick was a boy when they first debuted and they’re probably releasing another album because it’s in their contract! When all of those popular 90s pop acts signed contracts they didn’t know their sound would fall out of favor by 2003.
It’s just like all the others, but this time they are old, ugly and bald (what’s wrong with A.J.? Can’t he see he is horrenduous?). RIDICULOUS!! Time to retire guys!
Listen to the song again. I was more of an N*Sync girl back in the day. But the song is actually very good. And totally agree with Andrea. Why should they change their name? Backstreet Boys are who they are. They shouldn’t conform just because someone thinks they are dated. If the rest of their album shows as much promise as this song, then they should do very well… I Wish them the best…

After hearing this song and seeing the video, I remember why I drove 2 and a half hours, stood in the pouring rain from 4 AM to 11:30 AM to get tickets to thier concert!!!!!!!! This is the “true” BSB that I remember…. Guess I’ll be standing in the pouring rain again, huh? Kevin leaving didn’t hurt the quality ANY! In my opinion, he was just deadweight. His voice was awesome! But, he was older then the other guys and it was hard for the group to “mesh” well. I think they are still great and best wished to them all, even Kevin! I might be 22 with a daughter of my own, but, I still have my BSB Pride!!!! BTW, Nick was always my fave and still is!!! WOW! He’s grown up! And certainly in a GREAT way!! So sexy!!!!
