Zac Efron: Suit + Flip-Flops?

Well said Lisa. Personally I love his dynamic with Nikki..how close they are shines through in every interview they do together. I’m glad they both have someone to share the load throughout what must be a crazy period in their lives. I met Zac when he was in London and while you could see he really appreciates the fans it was clear that the sheer craziness of it gets to him as well. They were on TRL in Rome yesterday afternoon and Italian tv last night as well and as ever they were supporting each other throughout the hysteria. This is what they do.

As for these pics..I feel duty to point out that Nikki’s shrug is dark brown to match her dress not black as you said Jared. My first thought on seeing these (and indeed the recent Oz and Madrid shots) is..gosh they both look so grown up! I mean if you think back to when they were first doing promo early July…they have the fresh-faced, earnest teenage look to them. Now..it’s like they’ve morphed into this sexy man and woman, confident in their style etc. Nikki has always had poise but now she radiates superstar & Zac once said filming Hairspray was really when he grew up and became a man…I think he’s sealed the deal in this last couple of weeks. I’ve also noticed a lot of people seem to be raining on Zac for his fashion choices lately but honestly…as I see it..he’s just taking metrosexual to the max a la David Beckham…who constantly confounded people by wearing alice bands, sarongs, nail polish..and yes..flip flops in random combinations..but lo now he’s regularly cited as a fashion icon..because he doesn’t follow the crowd. They both have the continental look down as far as I can see…can’t wait to see what they wear when they hit Japan.

For starters, it’s not a suit. The pants and jacket don’t match. I don’t much care what he wears and he probably doesn’t at this point either. In a couple of the pics he appears fresh, but they must be down-right exhausted. Can you imagine? Every couple of days jumping on a plane, another city, another hotel, more interviews with the same questions and they have to try to make their responses seem fresh and original. Photographers screaming their names constantly for pics and lightbulbs flashing in your face ’til you’re nearly blind. Is there any down-time? They pay a heavy price for fame. They can wear whatever they want. (The only thing I didn’t care for on Zac was the brown plaid shirt, but who am I?)

If they manage to keep their heads and not berate someone before this tour is done, I congratulate them. When DO they get to go home, anyway? I’m sure the papparazzi is waiting at JFK and LAX.

To #200. Where did he say that. My friend lives in Italy and has been following Zac’s appearances and she said he does not remember him saying that. Although, in another show the interviewer asked him if he is dating Vanessa and he said ” Yes and No. I do not really want to talk about it.” Is this the same show? So he really did not confirm or deny it. This is his typical answer.

TO #205. IT SOUNDS LIKE HE SAYS NO, THEY ARE NOT ENGAGED BUT YES, THEY ARE DATING AND THAT HE DOESN’T WANT TO TALK ABOUT IT.

ALSO, ABOUT A MONTH AGO, I HEARD AN INTERVIEW WITH LUCAS GRABEEL, AND SOMEONE ASKED HIM IF THERE WERE ANY ROMANCES ON THE SET OF HSM2, AND HE SAID, “WELL, I GUESS IT’S ALREADY OUT OF THE BAG ABOUT ZAC AND VANESSA.”

THEN LUCAS WENT ON TO SAY THAT AT ONE TIME STUDIOS PAIRED UP STARS FOR PUBLICITY, BUT THAT DISNEY DIDN’T ALLOW PEOPLE WHO WORKED TOGETHER IN MOVIES TO DATE.

SO I WAS SURPRISED THAT VANESSA REVEALED IN TEEN MAGAZINE THAT SHE WAS DATING ZAC.

No, I think hes still confused weather he should really confirm that they are goin out or not to the public , as yet. But who knows maybe it is over at least we enjoyed them being togather while it lasted.

I don’t care about the clothes the flip flops etc. I care about the person that zac is.I think he was brought up correctly and has a great head on his shoulders maybe this is not what young people want to hear, but coming from a father who has children that look at his performances he says something and follows through ” as he said to sharpay in her dressing room in hsm2 “i’ll sing with you because i promised and i follow through with my promises”.that says something about a person in todays world. A message to Zac you are great it is a pleasure watching you and listening to you I hope you are the person that will recapture the reason for going out to see a movie.
