Brad Pitt is Hollywood’s Most Wanted Man

Brad Pitt is Hollywood’s Most Wanted Man

Brad Pitt was interviewed by USA Today at the Toronto Film Festival last week. His intense character study The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford opens in limited release Friday and netted him the best-actor award at the Venice Film Festival.

On relating to his character Jesse James: “I understand the essence of paranoia. I understand being hunted, to some degree. I understand a bounty on my head. But the movie is about so much more. The real tragedy is that there was a chance he could have gotten past this moment. He’s wrestling with himself and lost that battle.”

On the Jolie-Pitts being like the Jesse James clan, which quietly shuffled from home to home to evade authorities: It’s impossible for us. We’re run out of every major city. There’s just too many paparazzi. There’s always cameras in the kids’ faces, yelling their names. Angie gets out of the car, and they take the camera down to the curb and shoot up (her skirt). It’s unbelievable. [That's why] there’s a constant negotiation in how to survive and how to maintain a family life.”

On having honed his instincts: “You develop radar. Like I know when there’s someone in the bushes 300 yards away shooting,. I know to recognize that feeling. (On the Canadian set), there was a guy in total camouflage, who commandoed his way on knee and elbow. And I know that feeling. It’s inexplicable, one of those instincts.”

They sound like cry babies when complaining about the attention when here they make gazillions of dollars because of the fame…BUT…it probably IS a nightmare and you probably wonder if you’ve made a deal with the devil after a certain point. Is fame and fortune worth the price of your privacy and peace of mind?

On a side note, I am convinced that Brad wears that silly English Driver’s hat 24/7 because Robert Redford had one just like it on in The Sting. That is his idol, I’m sure of it!

Totally in SHOCK regarding the PISSERRAZZI trying to shoot up Angie’s skirt!?! WTH??? I NEVER knew this! OMG! Brad is a patient man. I think I would “come up ’side someone’s head” if I caught the SLIMEARAZZI doing something like that to my loved one!

‘Heart’ earns Frankfurt adaptation prize

——————————————————————————–

COLOGNE, Germany — Michael Winterbottom’s “A Mighty Heart,” the story of Al Qaeda’s 2002 kidnapping and murder of Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl, has been chosen as the year’s best international literary adaptation by the Frankfurt Book Fair, organizers said Wednesday.

“A Mighty Heart” was based on the nonfiction book of the same name by Pearl’s widow, French journalist Mariane Pearl. Angelina Jolie played Mariane in the film, with Dan Futterman as Daniel Pearl.

“We chose this film because it deals with a very current and politically vital issue and, at the same time, is a plea against violence and hate,” Book Fair director Jurgen Boos said.

“A Mighty Heart” beat out Kevin Macdonald’s Oscar-winner “The Last King Of Scotland,” Todd Field’s “Little Children,” Steven Soderbergh’s “The Good German,” Richard Eyre’s “Notes on a Scandal,” Billy August’s Nelson Mandela biopic “Goodbye Bafana” and Pascale Ferran’s “Lady Chatterley” for the €10,000 ($14,000) award.

Winterbottom will collect his prize in person in Frankfurt on Oct. 12. The Frankfurt Book Fair, which runs Oct. 10-14, is the world’s largest book market and has honored film adaptations since 2004. Previous winners include Francois Dupeyron’s “Monsieur Ibrahim,” Atom Egoyan’s “What Lies Beneath” and “Willenbrock,” from German director Andreas Dresen

Wonder where the Jolie-Pitt Family is. However, I’m happy they have a moment of privacy.

Good evening, BAMPZS fans!

Wow, a new thread finally. Thank you, Jared. I had been hoping for a new thread, the old one was getting too big and was getting harder and harder to upload.

Kaway to ariel, Char, the real tita, and all my kababayans!

12 aycaramba!!!!

Lately the paparrazzi has been going too far..only a matter of time before one is badly hurt or worst yet one of these stars or children…laying on the ground to shoot up Angies skirt…were is the law against this..that is disgusting, immoral behavior..I can see them getting those that flash all their wares all over town but please….good for Justin Timberlake when he smacked that coward paps as that guy would never have said that to Jessica if justin was right next to her….also with the bulbs and guys yelling in these kids faces it is ridicously…why can’t, with all the new technologie today be a stanard ruling of having to stand at least 100 ft away when people have their kids present..when is someone going to work on passing this type of law…no need for these kids to be half scared out of their minds all the time…….

Great pic!!. Thanks JJ. I adore this man….

He looks kinda sinister there, LOL!!!

Brad is not a newbie to fame. He will handle it as always. It’s no different than when he was with Aniston or Paltrow or alone.

When he was with Paltrow though, it was even more attention than it is now.

Nothing looks silly on Brad Pitt. He can pull anything off, including this awesome hat. He is adorable, and always will be. He has people in his life he admires, but he has eclipsed pretty nearly everyone, and has done so by being true to himself. He’s not doing anything because anyone else does or did it.

Before this site gets funky!!!

I Love Brad Pitt! …

Alexanderina @ 09/17/2007 at 10:35 pm

Thanks Jared for the new thread. I love this article and oh man I can’t wait to see this movie come weekend

I feel for them, it’s so unfair that they have to deal with crap like that. Yeah, there is a certain invasion of privacy you have to expect if you decide you want to go into the entertainment industry….but to the extent that Brad describes? That’s insane! No one should have to put up with that, especially innocent kids who through no fault of their own are targeted by the paps. And how must it make Brad and Angie feel to know their kids go through this because of them? They are great parents and yet they are made to feel like their children are everyone else’s property. That sucks.
Why can’t people just lay off?

no longer a lurker @ 09/17/2007 at 10:37 pm

thanks jared!

hello ladies!

He praises his Babel wife Cate Blanchett, exclaiming happily when he learns she’s at the festival for Elizabeth: The Golden Age, calling her “exquisite” and “gorgeous,” and adding, “you can’t take a bad picture of her.”

OMG HE IS IN LOVE WITH CATE.as I said he will run into her as soon as she divorces from his husband which I say will happen 2 or 3 years later.but I`m sure If he finds out that Cate is single,he will run into her as soon as possible.

he never talkes about his own woman such as this.gorgeous, exquisite he only can`t say how much he loves her because of jolie around him.

Brangelina!
Cant wait to see them on the red carpets this week!!!
