Brad Pitt was interviewed by USA Today at the Toronto Film Festival last week. His intense character study The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford opens in limited release Friday and netted him the best-actor award at the Venice Film Festival.
On relating to his character Jesse James: “I understand the essence of paranoia. I understand being hunted, to some degree. I understand a bounty on my head. But the movie is about so much more. The real tragedy is that there was a chance he could have gotten past this moment. He’s wrestling with himself and lost that battle.”
On the Jolie-Pitts being like the Jesse James clan, which quietly shuffled from home to home to evade authorities: It’s impossible for us. We’re run out of every major city. There’s just too many paparazzi. There’s always cameras in the kids’ faces, yelling their names. Angie gets out of the car, and they take the camera down to the curb and shoot up (her skirt). It’s unbelievable. [That's why] there’s a constant negotiation in how to survive and how to maintain a family life.”
On having honed his instincts: “You develop radar. Like I know when there’s someone in the bushes 300 yards away shooting,. I know to recognize that feeling. (On the Canadian set), there was a guy in total camouflage, who commandoed his way on knee and elbow. And I know that feeling. It’s inexplicable, one of those instincts.”

‘Heart’ earns Frankfurt adaptation prize

COLOGNE, Germany — Michael Winterbottom’s “A Mighty Heart,” the story of Al Qaeda’s 2002 kidnapping and murder of Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl, has been chosen as the year’s best international literary adaptation by the Frankfurt Book Fair, organizers said Wednesday.
“A Mighty Heart” was based on the nonfiction book of the same name by Pearl’s widow, French journalist Mariane Pearl. Angelina Jolie played Mariane in the film, with Dan Futterman as Daniel Pearl.
“We chose this film because it deals with a very current and politically vital issue and, at the same time, is a plea against violence and hate,” Book Fair director Jurgen Boos said.
“A Mighty Heart” beat out Kevin Macdonald’s Oscar-winner “The Last King Of Scotland,” Todd Field’s “Little Children,” Steven Soderbergh’s “The Good German,” Richard Eyre’s “Notes on a Scandal,” Billy August’s Nelson Mandela biopic “Goodbye Bafana” and Pascale Ferran’s “Lady Chatterley” for the €10,000 ($14,000) award.
Winterbottom will collect his prize in person in Frankfurt on Oct. 12. The Frankfurt Book Fair, which runs Oct. 10-14, is the world’s largest book market and has honored film adaptations since 2004. Previous winners include Francois Dupeyron’s “Monsieur Ibrahim,” Atom Egoyan’s “What Lies Beneath” and “Willenbrock,” from German director Andreas Dresen

Nothing looks silly on Brad Pitt. He can pull anything off, including this awesome hat. He is adorable, and always will be. He has people in his life he admires, but he has eclipsed pretty nearly everyone, and has done so by being true to himself. He’s not doing anything because anyone else does or did it.

I feel for them, it’s so unfair that they have to deal with crap like that. Yeah, there is a certain invasion of privacy you have to expect if you decide you want to go into the entertainment industry….but to the extent that Brad describes? That’s insane! No one should have to put up with that, especially innocent kids who through no fault of their own are targeted by the paps. And how must it make Brad and Angie feel to know their kids go through this because of them? They are great parents and yet they are made to feel like their children are everyone else’s property. That sucks.

He is definitely not lying about the intrusion of the over population of the papso’s. It has become common practice now to get an upskirt shot of any Hollywood actress that you can. This is probably why you see Angelina wear more long form fitting pencil skirts, harder to get/see under does. I remember when David Beckham had to assist Victoria out of their car by blocking an upskirt shot the paps were trying to take of his wife. Much good it did when later on they zoomed in on her crotch area while she was out dining, trifling dogs. The papso’s are such scum, they will take a picture of a dead celebrity on the street before calling the police if it will bring them the right check amount.
Also, people are always asking why Shiloh looks so bewildered when they are out and about and I have said this a dozen times before and Brad has just confirmed my statements that when you are that young and you have hundreds of strangers calling a babies name you would be looking crazy too. She is trying to figure out who the hell is calling her little name. Once she is older she will be able to give them the “Why the hell are you calling my name look” like Zee.

Thank goodness they are taking a break and hopefully getting married quietly someplace and continuing with life away from the media and blogs. TORONTO — There’s a reason Brad Pitt is as elusive as his latest character, slippery, sinister gunslinger Jesse James. He is today’s outlaw celebrity, living a nomadic existence with his family. There’s a sizable price on his head, as any paparazzo will attest. His face sells magazines, his presence inspires hysteria among fans, who abandon rational behavior for a glimpse, a touch, a photo. Like James and his gang, he travels with a posse of kids, security and a life partner.
So it’s hardly shocking that Pitt, 43, relates to the desperado he embodies in the intense character study The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford. The nearly three-hour film, opening in limited release Friday, just netted Pitt the best-actor award at the Venice Film Festival, though the film itself is getting mixed reviews. Pitt’s Jesse James is a mercurial, mercenary killer with a mean streak, murdered by a member of his gang.
“I understand the essence of paranoia,” Pitt says. “I understand being hunted, to some degree. I understand a bounty on my head. But the movie is about so much more. The real tragedy is that there was a chance he could have gotten past this moment. He’s wrestling with himself and lost that battle.”
If Pitt wrestles with anything these days, it’s the media and fan frenzy that encroaches on his life but is necessary to sell his films and promote his causes.
For this interview at the Toronto Film Festival, Pitt at the last minute insists that director Andrew Dominik join him to keep questions squarely focused on the film. One thing is clear: He’s not interested in sharing touchy-feely details of life with partner Angelina Jolie, 32, and their kids Maddox, 6, Pax, 3, Zahara, 2, and Shiloh, 1.

He’s dressed casually in a tan shirt and gray newsboy cap as he lopes into the room accompanied by a small entourage of publicists and stylists. Knowing the effect his name and presence have, he makes an effort to bridge gaps and connect by extending his hand and saying, “Hi, I’m Brad.” But he never once makes eye contact.
At first, he tries to shift the attention away from himself entirely, pointing to a newspaper with fellow festival attendee Terrence Howard on the cover and saying, “That boy’s good.”

Perhaps the actor is still shaken up by the previous night’s premiere of Jesse James, which metastasized into a mob scene. “We had to come back here. We had to get under a garage,” he tells Dominik. “Nothing was cordoned off. There were no barriers.”
Toronto gossip columnist Lainey Lui (laineygossip.com), who has covered the festival for years, calls what unfolded “the biggest celebrity mob scene ever. Ever.”
Jolie and Pitt were in a car together, en route from their screening to the private after-party. “The crowd was so thick anyway, from people downtown on a Saturday night. And then, they were spotted,” Lui says. “The crowd started to find out that it was Brad and Angelina. People who were driving down on other streets left their cars and ran to see them. Seven people jumped on their car.”
Pitt and Jolie’s vehicle tried to inch forward. “We saw all these people running. People were holding up their cellphones (to take photos). This woman appears out of nowhere, runs up with her child, and was pushing her child up against the (moving) car. The lady was like: ‘I want my baby to see Brad Pitt.’ ”
Through it all, “Brad was yelling at the driver to drive, Angelina looked like a woman completely paralyzed. You could read her lips, and she kept saying, ‘Get back to the hotel.’ ”
None of his buddies — Matt Damon or George Clooney, say — have to deal with anything near the furor surrounding Pitt’s life.
The next day, Pitt insists that he and Jolie control and manage the fame and rarely find it overpowering. “I understand the deal. It got chaotic last night, but there was genuine happiness, and it meant something to them. It only bothers me when they get in the kids’ faces.”
Yet they have no plans to stop adding to their family. He has talked openly before about wanting a fifth child. Now he adds, “We’re certainly not done. Sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth …”
The family’s current base is New York because he is shooting the Coen brothers’ Burn After Reading. Jolie and Pitt globe-trot from movie set to movie set, stopping in at their homes in Los Angeles, England and New Orleans in between. It’s no accident their life starkly resembles the wandering existence of the James clan, which quietly shuffled from home to home to evade authorities.

Jolie famously advocates for refugees worldwide, while he is active in the ONE campaign to eradicate poverty and Global Green, which is replacing homes in New Orleans destroyed by Hurricane Katrina with eco-friendly buildings.
“It’s dismal down there,” he says of the city. “We’re expanding to a larger project that we’re not ready to announce yet.”
Bono, who sets the standard in celebrity activism and knows Pitt through their work on the ONE campaign, praises Pitt’s efforts and his “intellectual curiosity.”

Dominik can’t quite believe his collaborator of four years is the celebrity world’s most wanted man. His first film, Chopper, starred a then-unknown Eric Bana. And Dominik is seeing firsthand the global sensation that is Brad Pitt.
“I just realized how famous he was over the last two places (Venice and Toronto). It’s kind of thrilling, a sugar rush, but also really threatening. In Venice, after the press conference, a wave of 200 people ran at the table.”
Pitt likens it to “a starting gun going off.”
Moviegoers won’t find that kind of rush in the pair’s film. The movie, which Dominik admits is long and has no surging plot, moves at a saunter and lacks the furious gunplay of a standard Western. Both Dominik and Pitt acknowledge it could be a tough sell for mainstream audiences accustomed to big, brash action flicks.
But Pitt clearly believes in his director: “Andrew understands the undercurrents that propel us to behave like we do, that don’t make sense. And through the whole process, he never wavered on his vision.”
Dominik says after a few days of shooting, he forgot Pitt was the star of his movie. “I completely accepted him as Jesse. Even in the cast, they would talk about Jesse, not Brad Pitt,” he says.
“The hardest thing about doing something with Brad is that he’s Brad. When you watch Brad on screen, you never really feel like you know him. He’s got an old-time mystery.”
James could sniff out liars and traitors. Pitt, too, says he has honed instincts he didn’t know he had.

Actually from this interview I get the feel of a husband and father who loves his family and wants the best for all of them. Also he feels it’s his responsiblity to keep them safe. As Brad said about MAMS, I see alot of love in this interview toward his family.
More than likely they are in Brad’s hometown. Where the kids can run around and Brad and Angelina can just relax without wondering who is in the bushes.
I probably had a crisis in my 30’s. I had a turbulent life (while married to his ex). Some of my movies flopped. My career suffered greatly.
Life is too short. I need life to be everything I want it to be. My ex and I decided to end the charade ‘cos we both want to led meaningful lives. I respect the deep friendship we shared. Angelina is not the cause of the break-up of the farcical MERGER.
After meeting Angie, I became a NEW man, both intimately and artistically speaking. She is my great love, the mother of my kids and she means the world to me.

Brad Pitt has insisted that his relationship with Angelina Jolie is stronger than ever.
Recent reports have claimed that the couple are on the verge of splitting up, but Brad has now spoken about how much he enjoys family life with Angelina and their four children.
“Angelina is my love, my partner and the mother of my children,” Brad told The Mirror. “We’re a normal family - a mother, a father and kids.”
“The kids are fantastic and they sometimes get unruly and say the funniest things I’ve ever heard. Man, they’re the funniest people I’ve ever met,” he continued. “It’s strange the chaos they cause. We move into a hotel room and boom! It’s external chaos but it’s the eye of the storm, too, because it’s actually very calm. It’s calming to me.”
Pitt also finally confirmed rumours that he and Angelina are planning to add to their family: “Yes, we’re ready for another.”

This article does much to explain the closeness, the tight bond existing between Brad and Angelina. They share unique experiences and a life quite different from most. If I were them I would hire a tutor for Maddox and homeschool him (and Pax and Z and Shiloh) until he is a bit older. The paps are just crazy, I had noticed that Brad always stands in front of Angelina when she is exiting a car in a dress, Now I know why.
One thing this semi isolation has done for this couple is to strengthen their love, their determination to stay together no matter what. It’s as if they are in a little boat in the middle of the sea and must cooperate and row together to reach the shore. Neither of them is going anywhere without the other, they are interdependent now, their lives and the lives of their children are melded into a solid unit.

Technically, “Jesse James” is a marvel. The art department detail from Patricia Norris (behind both set and costume design) is something to behold, and it marries itself considerably to Roger Deakins’s painterly cinematography. Some of the shots Deakins and Dominik have envisioned are immediately iconic. This is one of the most beautiful films of the year.
Aurally, the work exhibits an array of layers equally affecting. The sound of gunfire has a bombastic and genuine quality that recalls Kevin Costner’s realistic use of sound in “Open Range.” But a certain sense of terror, of actually being there, rests in the soundtrack of “Jesse James.” And the score, a beautiful violin construction from Bad Seeds member Warren Ellis, is divine in its simplicity. Bad Seeds front man Nick Cave pops up, by the way, belting the classic “The Ballad of Jesse James” in a saloon near the film’s end.
There is plenty to be said of what Andrew Dominik has accomplished, and for my part, I think I’ve said it. But while considering the opinions of others within a film review isn’t my usual course of action, I have to be clear that anyone considering this film “pretentious” just doesn’t have a clear understanding of what that word means. There isn’t a whiff of pretension on the effort. It is as straight-forward as they come, as simple and defined and considerate of the western genre’s applications as I’ve ever seen. Like Ang Lee’s equally maligned (in some quarters) “Lust, Caution,” Dominik’s film takes its time and marinates, but it never once dabbles or wanders in unnecessary territory.

Love Brad and the interview. Fame does have a price and since they are already paying for it, I hope it at least translates into dollars at the box office. Then they’ll be able to help more people and be rewarded for their sacrifice.
Unlike some who wish they would disappear, many (like me) are not ready to give them up. I wish they would make at least 2, 3 or 4 movies a year between them so we could at least see them onscreen and the red carpet. They are good actors, not just pretty faces. I would enjoy a movie better if my favorite actors where starring in it. It makes it more interesting and memorable.
I love it that they are always getting offers to star in movies. They don’t have to accept every one but they should keep on making them so their fans aren’t deprived of their presence. Trolls would just have to accept that the JPs are here to stay.

If JA fans put as much effort in supporting JA as they do in bashing BP and AJ, then maybe JA would be doing better in her career and her personal life. I am sure that she could use all the good vibes she can get. I guess in their own way they feel that they are supporting JA by constantly putting BP and particuarly AJ down.
I am amazed at the lengths people go through to smear and hate on BP and AJ. All because of a Hollywood divorce. It is truly a shame that JA’s fans cannot move on.
BP and AJ are doing some good things with their charitable work, their professional projects and raising their children. Their focus in helping others is truly admirable. AJ has been involved with her UN work and has shown great devotion to helping children throughout the world. All this bitter ranting and raving over a sitcom star who has contributed less than nothing to society is sad. I would rather be a fan of BP and AJ than to be stuck in a mindless pit of hate for a couple who are simply trying to live their lives.
A Mighty Heart is a powerful film and AJ gave an Oscar worthy performance. I am glad that I got a chance to see it. Jesse James is shaping up to be an American classic. Peace to all.

Guli, hi. Remember I don’t post until after I break fast. Right now that is about 7:30 Pm. I have been reading some of the post and it is the same old stuff different day, same of sh*t. I know tomorrow will be insanity to the 10th power. I truly don’t know why fans keep engaging the trolls. Brad doesn’t want Cate Blachett or anyone else. Um no. AMH is not doing well overseas. In spain it only made 500,000. remember this is opening weekend and most of the profit is made in the opening weekend. Usually 30 to 50%. Now remember Dereailed it even made 1.4 million in Spain and as you guys said it was a total flop! Since it did so poorly they probably won’t open up to any more cities like they did in the US. Isn’t it said when you have to compare Angie’s film to jennifers BOMB and Angie’s is doing worse. Must make you guys a little sick!!! LOVE it!

AMH & TGS were wonderful quality films and for every Tomb Raider & Mr. & Mrs. Smith commercial bs script success, you can have the luxury of doing quality films.
2005 was the last commercial (read no brainer) film for Angelina. She can ride and leverage that for the next 5 years. Brad can ride Babel & Ocean’s 13 for the next 5 years as well. He’s following in Robert Redford’s footsteps and making quality films under Plan B. He will be choosing the next generations film actors with his film projects.

I would never waste my time asking for any info for a film of the ex’s as she do re Brad and angelina’s movies. She is a one dimensional actress and she is getting too long in the tooth for believable romantic comedies. Her role in Drew Barrymore’s new film is minor, and she will not have any sparks with BenA who does not excel in romantic roles either. If she had any common sense, which I do not believe she possesses, she would do like CourtCox and find a well writtne tv series, get some career success in her life, and give her fans something to focus on. It’s hard growing older in Holywood for almost all women as they approach 40. Not fair but that’s the way it is.

I normally don’t comment because I am super busy, but I am a HUGE fan of Brad and Angie, much more Angie. I cannot wait to see Angie walk the red carpet tomorrow. I get soooooooooo excited whenever I see her on the red carpet. There is no woman in Hollywood like her. She is just beyond gorgeous. When I was watching the Emmys yesterday there was no woman that really stood out. I think that the Emmys did bad because all of the people that were at the show was just plain and boring. Also, I think that if Brad and Angie does not go to any of the other events that all of the show will have bad ratings as well. Brad and Angie is the IT couple in Hollywood now. If they don’t show up to something, NO ONE will care. I look more forward to seeing Angie on the red carpet than Brad. She totally beats Brad in the look category, but they are a GREAT looking couple. They are the SEXIEST and GORGEOUS couple in the universe. There is NO woman in the universe that can beat Angie in the looks category. I think that majority of the people that show up to see Brad and Angie at the red carpet is there to see Angie and NOT Brad. I saw the footage of their red carpet in Toronto and when Brad shows up to the red carpet alone it is NEVER like that. The reason for the chaos is because of Angie. People want to see the MOST BEAUTIFUL WOMAN IN THE WORLD. This is my opinion so please do not get mad at me. I still love Brad and Angie together and I hope that they grow old together. Your remarkable obsession with the box office numbers proves nothing other than your narrow world view. You have no idea how divided the world is today along superficial fault lines, us vs. them, how self-congratulatory cultures can be when it comes to denying basic human rights to the “others” by killing, by forcing migration. Here is a cinematic work that has no claims other than getting a message of a one brave woman out, and yet all you can see is box office numbers, never the message itself.

Pitt Turns Outlaw in `Jesse James’

TORONTO (AP) — While news about Jesse James crawled its way across 19th century America — compared to today’s lightning-fast Internet — the tone was uncannily comparable to today’s celebrity coverage, Brad Pitt found in reading those old accounts.
“I will say, I was surprised to see how tabloid journalism was alive and well even then and operating in the same way, just sensationalizing a complete fabrication of untruths,” said Brad Pitt, who stars as the legendary outlaw in “The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford.”
“There’s just more of it today. There’s more of it in quantity, but the execution’s the same. In that day, when you only had a newspaper to get your information, that would have been the extent of it. But it doesn’t seem to have changed at all,” Pitt told The Associated Press at the Toronto International Film Festival.
Pitt and Angelina Jolie, stars of the 2005 hit “Mr. and Mrs. Smith,” have been the quarry of celebrity photographers and the object of incessant tabloid gossip since they hooked up amid the breakup of Pitt’s marriage to Jennifer Aniston. A media vigil preceded the birth of their daughter in Namibia last year, and crowds swelled during the Toronto festival everywhere they went.
In the late 1800s, James was able to move anonymously through America under a series of aliases, but his notoriety was unparalleled. James’ image as a Robin Hood-style bandit of the people — a myth he helped perpetuate himself — had made him a folk hero to the public and a demon to the railroads.
Based on Ron Hansen’s novel, “Assassination of Jesse James” dissects the James myth to present a charismatic man in the last year of his life, as his sense of security crumbles and he is overwhelmed by paranoia that associates are selling him out to the law.
Into James’ inner circle comes young idolator Ford (Casey Affleck), who has grown up on romanticized stories of the outlaw’s deeds. Initially an intimate, Ford later becomes an object of scorn for Pitt’s increasingly unpredictable James.
Ford eventually feels compelled to become James’ executioner, coming to believe it’s almost a civic duty.
“I don’t know what led to his idea, the need to destroy the very thing that he worshipped, but that’s certainly what’s going on here. You have a demoralized boy, a boy who’s subject to humiliation, and in his quiet hours has this lust for the Jesse James celebrity, the Jesse James phenomenon,” said Pitt, 43.
“Then at the point where he meets Jesse James, meets his idol, and his idol spurns him, it becomes that thing, needing to destroy the thing you love to become equal with it again.”
At two hours, 40 minutes, “Assassination of Jesse James,” which opens Friday, is a challenging tale, yet one that has drawn praise for the lyrical melancholy of its 19th century landscapes and for the key performances. The film earned the best-actor prize at the Venice Film Festival for Pitt, a previous supporting-actor Academy Awards nominee for “Twelve Monkeys” who could be in contention for a lead-actor Oscar this time.
The celebrity mystique that surrounds Pitt meshed well with the mythic nature of James, said Andrew Dominik, director of “Assassination of Jesse James.”
“It was the sort of part that you could cast a movie star in and it would make sense,” Dominik said. “It wouldn’t be miscasting Brad, who you never really feel like you know on-screen. He’s always retained kind of an essential mystery. He’s not a person people really identify with. He’s more of an object to them. They aspire to be him, but they don’t really identify with him.
“Those were really good qualities for Jesse. They’re both enigmatic and charismatic.”
Pitt first caught widespread notice in a scene-stealing role in 1991’s “Thelma & Louise” and went on to star in such films as “Legends of the Fall,” “Spy Game,” “Troy” and last year’s acclaimed “Babel,” co-starring Cate Blanchett.
Blanchett and Pitt reunite for next year’s “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button,” Pitt’s third film with David Fincher, based on F. Scott Fitzgerald’s story about a man who is born old and ages backward toward infancy.
“He’s just so open. He’s a great player. Brad loves a good idea and a good conversation, and I think that extends to acting, really,” Blanchett said. “I think he’s got a really good nose for what works, and I think people will be blown away by him in `Benjamin Button.’”
Pitt now is shooting the Coen brothers’ dark comedy “Burn After Reading” with George Clooney, his partner in crime in “Ocean’s Eleven” and its two sequels.
While Pitt looks for roles that offer fresh dramatic possibilities, finding good work companions such as Clooney has become crucial in his job choices.
“As I get older, it’s the company I keep,” Pitt said. “It means something to me to have these friends out here and people I respect … Most of the movie is spent when the camera’s not rolling, and to work with these interesting people is really the most important thing to me.”
With his production company Plan B, Pitt also is active as a producer whose credits include Jolie’s recent drama “A Mighty Heart.” (He also was a producer on “Assassination of Jesse James.”)
Pitt jokes that the advantage of today’s celebrity culture is that people are not carrying six-shooters around the way they did in James’ day. Even so, as a new father, Pitt is mindful of the potential dangers that come with fame.
Along with their biological daughter, Pitt and Jolie have three children she adopted from Cambodia, Ethiopia and Vietnam.
“It’s something that I want to be aware of and be cautious about, especially with the family, that everybody’s protected,” Pitt said. “I mean it’s rare, but there are imbalanced people out there. I’ve had break-ins in the house … I’ve had some of these abnormal incidents that can be a bit frightening.”
When Pitt or Jolie is working, the other takes time off to tend the children, who travel with them wherever they are filming.
“We just take turns and make sure we keep the family together,” Pitt said.
Pitt is quick to acknowledge reporters’ questions about his and Jolie’s plans for more children.
“We’re not done. They say, any plans for a fifth? And I say, `And a sixth, and a seventh, and an eighth, and a ninth.’ That’s my answer. …….
“We also made a 9-foot-wide bed” that can fit him, Jolie and all four children, Pitt said. “Just big enough. One more and we’ll have to go to 11 feet.”
Okay guys, I am going to make a suggestion to JJ on here and I hope you will take it in the spirit in which it is intended.
The constant assault by the paps on the kids is ridiculous. It’s one thing to want to constantly photograph the parents, but chasing after the kids screaming their names day in and day out is tantamount to child abuse. No wonder the kids don’t want to smile at the cameras. What child in his/her right mind would, after being hounded like that?
The way I see it, we are all part of the problem. The paps wouldn’t be constantly harassing the kids if we weren’t constantly demanding photos. So, Jared, I am asking that you limit your threads to Brad and Angelina’s professional life or their relationship, but no more threads about taking the kids to school, the park, the playground, the art supply store, etc. etc. etc. Let’s all back off and give the kids some breathing space and just let them be kids.

Okay guys, I am going to make a suggestion to JJ on here and I hope you will take it in the spirit in which it is intended.
The constant assault by the paps on the kids is ridiculous. It’s one thing to want to constantly photograph the parents, but chasing after the kids screaming their names day in and day out is tantamount to child abuse. No wonder the kids don’t want to smile at the cameras. What child in his/her right mind would, after being hounded like that?
The way I see it, we are all part of the problem. The paps wouldn’t be constantly harassing the kids if we weren’t constantly demanding photos. So, Jared, I am asking that you limit your threads to Brad and Angelina’s professional life or their relationship, but no more threads about taking the kids to school, the park, the playground, the art supply store, etc. etc. etc. Let’s all back off and give the kids some breathing space and just let them be kids.

I strongly disagree! Before they hooked up, Brad was one of Hollywoods popular pretty boys, leading a shallow life. Angelina was also busy with her life outside Hollywood. Now, together, there is no denying they are Hollywoods number one couple. They’ve been good for each other.
Brad is taken more seriously and gained Angelina’s fans (including me) and Angelina’s popularity has also gone through the roof. At the O13 premiere she attracted more attention and she wasn’t even in the movie.

Maybe someone pointed this out but Cate and Angie have been friends for a quite a while time. It was Cate and Jude Law her were backstage waiting to congratulate her with affection after her Oscar win. Remember Cate also co-starred with Jolie in Pushing Tin. Now their kids have played together in New Orleans at that gorgeous property they have.
Talking about Jude Law reminds me of Sky Captain which I thought was great fun. Very underrated. I loved Gwyneth in it and Jude and Angelina. Everyone was just perfect for their role. Those robots freaked me out.

I just wanted to add my 2 cents to the comments that are being made in reference to B&A supposedly hating the publicity and being unappreciative of what that publicity does for their career. Angie just got through promoting AMH and now Brad is promoting TAOJJ. Both films have a backdrop of journalism and publicity so it makes since that a lot of the QUESTIONS that they have had to respond to are dealing with the bounty on their own heads and how they used the experience in their acting. Angie is and has always been generous to the entertainment news industry.
I should not be surprised however by this sudden selective memory by those that hate in regards to this subject as they also developed selective recollection of her slender form pre-pregnancy and the appearance of veins pre-Brad. It would seem that most haters have a touch of ADD as they can only process what is currently going on instead of the BIG picture.

Thank you Jared for the interview. Angie and Brad never said that they are not appriciative or that they are above everyone. These two are the most dow to earth and modest actors in HW. Brad even said that he understands it and that the public reaction comes from a genuine admiration for them. But it gets really out of limit when they are involving the kids. Screaming their names and shove their cameras in front of their faces or blocking their way. And then you have some morons here asking why they are holding their kids.

Brad is so full of baloney. He complains about lack of privacy, yet here he is in yet another interview, talking about his personal life. In the past few days alone he’s revealed how he and Angie need a bigger bed, that they’re ready for more kids, and details of his breakup with Jennifer.
This week Angelina discussed how stress affectestheir sex life and how they take baths together.
This is really inappropriate behavior for people who wants privacy. What other stars discuss all these personal topics with the press?
People who said that Brad has a thing for Cate and not for Angie. These people either don’t read the interviews of Brad or they are so stupid they can’t understand what they read.
I don`t know about your country and you are talking about freedom of magazine and photograph all the time.
but now after this kind of events to this family and other famous people in USA or other part of the world.
I really appreciate the law that we have in my country.we have law in our country which let photographer take picture If that person let them do that and they should ask him or her If they want to take photo.If they don`t do this work that person is allowed to put that issue in court and it makes people have more privacy.really I don`t know our first actress in our country married or not.have children or not.because I never see one photo of them with their family.
I hope there will be law that at least protect some part of their privacy like when they are with kids.If they keep doing it,For sure someone will get hurt and another tragedy will happen.

I just wanted to add my 2 cents to the comments that are being made in reference to B&A supposedly hating the publicity and being unappreciative of what that publicity does for their career. Angie just got through promoting AMH and now Brad is promoting TAOJJ. Both films have a backdrop of journalism and publicity so it makes since that a lot of the QUESTIONS that they have had to respond to are dealing with the bounty on their own heads and how they used the experience in their acting. Angie is and has always been generous to the entertainment news industry.
I should not be surprised however by this sudden selective memory by those that hate in regards to this subject as they also developed selective recollection of her slender form pre-pregnancy and the appearance of veins pre-Brad. It would seem that most haters have a touch of ADD as they can only process what is currently going on instead of the BIG picture.

Kidman confesses to secret engagement
Nicole Kidman says she was engaged to a mystery man in between breaking up with Tom Cruise and marrying Keith Urban.
“I didn’t really want a relationship,” the 40-year-old actress says. “I just wanted my kids to have me, and I didn’t feel comfortable having some person in that small hubbub. And then I got engaged to somebody … but it just wasn’t right,” she continues in Vanity Fair magazine’s October issue, which hit newsstands Tuesday. “I wasn’t ready. We weren’t ready.”

“I get engaged, and I get married – that’s my thing,” she says, declining to reveal her former fiancé’s identity. “I don’t want to date. I’m interested in a very, very deep connection.”
Kidman and Cruise divorced in 2001 after 10 years of marriage. They have two adopted children, Isabella, 14, and Connor, 12. Kidman, who married country singer Urban in June 2006, says she has no regrets when it comes to her marriage to Cruise. “My agents told me, ‘Once you become Mrs. Tom Cruise, you do know your career is going to die,’ ” says Kidman, who won an Oscar in 2002’s “The Hours.”

OMG,This paps are the craziest group I`ve ever seen.they don`t care about anybody else,they just care about the money that they will get.It is so sad.
I hope this beautiful family can handle these pressure from media and paps and can survive successfully.Now I`m happy not to see them in 5 days that means they are having enough privacy they need.I miss them but I`m happy for them.

Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett. I find it funny that people really think he is going to leave Angelina. I am sorry but no woman right now compares to the one he has. I am not even gonna get into how crazy it is for people to think Cate would leave her own husband and children. I think this was just someone baiting an argument because its to funny.
Brad loves Angelina and I am soooo happy to hear how protective he is of her. I mean I was at JJB and saw some pictures of how he does his best to block Paps from taking pictures up Angelina’s skirt. Brad is a real gentleman.
I think the kids will be fine. They are young, the only one who will remember this is Maddox. Brad and Angelina have a plan I believe, and it will involve getting the kids away from the paps when they are older. Sort of like what Demi Moore did. She moved to Idaho as her children got older and raised them away from the spotlight.
Thing is, when people make fun of the kids expressions or say they never smile, or something stupid, I get mad, but then I remember they have no idea what is going on in that picture.
The swarm of people. The screaming and yelling. The pushing. The flashes. Its pure chaos.
I knew they had to be yelling the children’s names. How sick is that????? Calling the kids…I knew in the back of mind they had to be doing that, because the kids always look like, “do I know you. why are you calling me”
Its sad but I hardly think Brad and Angelina will live like this forever. As we have seen in these last few days, they know how to hide.
Some really bitter women exist in this world. Or paid staff from TWO cheaper selling German tabs have interns lurking and posting cra* in order to get their next lying cover story. Don’t think the ex’s PR team visits here anymore, they are too busy trying to kep her meager career alive.
Brad is clearly where he wants to be and where he will stay. He is leading a life that gives him great passion and happiness and contentness. Brad is clearly not an empty headed person but a deep thinker and planner who needed someone in his life to support his dreams and help them become reality, he has that in Angelina. He knows her inreplaceable value in his life and he will do all what he must to keep her in his life.
Angelina is clearly where she wants to be and were she will stay. She is leading a life that gives her great passion and happiness and contentness. She has someone in her life to give her strength when hers is faltering, someone she can love and trust which all of us yearn for. No one is an island as some suggest she is, no one. She knows that Brad is the one for her and she will do all that she must to keep him in her life.
They are set in stone, each the other’s foundation.
Both Brad and Angeina continue to confound certain people. They do not behave in the manner or follow the path that others have dictated for them. I doubt very much that Brad’s PR control him, in fact he seems to be in control of his life and to know exactly what he wants and needs. If his PR controlled his life he would never have run from his old rigid life but stayed in the “golden haze of falseness” concocted by PR and tabs. Angelina has shocked those who refuse to believe and accept that she can truly love one person and be happy with him in a family lifestyle.
The choir of the damaged few, the falseies who come here loudly proclaiming they are fans of anybody and want this couple, this family to split are not fans, they are the bitter, the angry, the interns paid to plant lies for certain German tabs, the ones who want to control real people in order to have them conform to their own fantansies. They are stewing in their own poisonous soup.
Anyway at the end of the day, Brad and Angelina are getting busy in their nine foot bed and then having regular Sunday family movie days together. There is nothing the bitter ones or the interns can do about that.

Why is the little ***** crying and complaining about the paparazzi. Everyone in HW knows that there have been times when he WANTS the papz around . just think of all the photo-ops he’s put his kids threw and now he pretends to be pissed. The man is pathetic because he’s always trying to come off as a victim. Luckily Angelina knows there is worse things going on in this world and only ever asks for distance from the papz cause their cameras are so strong and they can take good pix from a distance.
