OlderBrad Pitt is Hollywood’s Most Wanted Man
Brad Pitt was interviewed by USA Today at the Toronto Film Festival last week. His intense character study The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford opens in limited release Friday and netted him the best-actor award at the Venice Film Festival.
On relating to his character Jesse James: “I understand the essence of paranoia. I understand being hunted, to some degree. I understand a bounty on my head. But the movie is about so much more. The real tragedy is that there was a chance he could have gotten past this moment. He’s wrestling with himself and lost that battle.”
On the Jolie-Pitts being like the Jesse James clan, which quietly shuffled from home to home to evade authorities: It’s impossible for us. We’re run out of every major city. There’s just too many paparazzi. There’s always cameras in the kids’ faces, yelling their names. Angie gets out of the car, and they take the camera down to the curb and shoot up (her skirt). It’s unbelievable. [That's why] there’s a constant negotiation in how to survive and how to maintain a family life.”
On having honed his instincts: “You develop radar. Like I know when there’s someone in the bushes 300 yards away shooting,. I know to recognize that feeling. (On the Canadian set), there was a guy in total camouflage, who commandoed his way on knee and elbow. And I know that feeling. It’s inexplicable, one of those instincts.”

Maybe someone pointed this out but Cate and Angie have been friends for a quite a while time. It was Cate and Jude Law her were backstage waiting to congratulate her with affection after her Oscar win. Remember Cate also co-starred with Jolie in Pushing Tin. Now their kids have played together in New Orleans at that gorgeous property they have.
Talking about Jude Law reminds me of Sky Captain which I thought was great fun. Very underrated. I loved Gwyneth in it and Jude and Angelina. Everyone was just perfect for their role. Those robots freaked me out.
jill, you have a very good point. I don’t know if it would impact Jared, because maybe the posts matter as much as pictures. Brad has specifically said it really disturbs him to have the children involved, so we should honor this as fans and not seek out their candid pictures.

Missouri Fan, did you see the clip of Doug Pitt advertising for an airport? Is he famous locally? It really surprised me, because Brad’s family is so private. I am wondering if his recognition is for his own accomplishments locally (golf or business) or just that he is Brad’s brother.

Wow… Brad and Angelina, what a beautiful couple. They truly have a strong, spiritual connection and karma. It is obvious that many have had the chance to experience it- whether you are watching them on the red carpet, in a movie, reading about or seeing clips of their humanitarian efforts. Brad and Angie balance each other. They are written in history whether they last one more hour or a lifetime.
Picking at or ridiculing their past, past relationships that failed, her weight, his alleged infidelity, his skin, their motives, what we think Jennifer Aniston has lost- is TRULY A WASTE OF TIME. The results are the same - please refer to the previous paragraph. In the midst of all this ambiguity– the world and 4 precious children have benefitted tremendously from the union of this couple. Sometimes life has to get messy in order to get order and for people to change and behave more appropriately in the next chapter of their lives.
Failure and making mistakes gives us an opportunity to learn, grow and improve our character along our life’s journey. It is clear that Brad and Angie are doing just that - learning and growing to be better persons than they were yesterday. Look at what they have accomplished!
Vanity, fear and selfishness actually prevents you from participating in the struggle of other people. To all faniston fans , she was already famous before hooking up with Brad. Brad was also famous, but frankly, his peak was in the late 90’s and early 2000’s, after hooking up with Angie, their popularity surge to sky high, actually, they complement each other.
