OlderBrad Pitt is Hollywood’s Most Wanted Man
Brad Pitt was interviewed by USA Today at the Toronto Film Festival last week. His intense character study The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford opens in limited release Friday and netted him the best-actor award at the Venice Film Festival.
On relating to his character Jesse James: “I understand the essence of paranoia. I understand being hunted, to some degree. I understand a bounty on my head. But the movie is about so much more. The real tragedy is that there was a chance he could have gotten past this moment. He’s wrestling with himself and lost that battle.”
On the Jolie-Pitts being like the Jesse James clan, which quietly shuffled from home to home to evade authorities: It’s impossible for us. We’re run out of every major city. There’s just too many paparazzi. There’s always cameras in the kids’ faces, yelling their names. Angie gets out of the car, and they take the camera down to the curb and shoot up (her skirt). It’s unbelievable. [That's why] there’s a constant negotiation in how to survive and how to maintain a family life.”
On having honed his instincts: “You develop radar. Like I know when there’s someone in the bushes 300 yards away shooting,. I know to recognize that feeling. (On the Canadian set), there was a guy in total camouflage, who commandoed his way on knee and elbow. And I know that feeling. It’s inexplicable, one of those instincts.”

Sam: Why do you keep laying “TGS is a bomb” at Angelina’s feet? Last I checked it starred Matt Damon, who was in the entire 3 hour movie; Angie was on for what, about 30 minutes tops? If TGS is a flop has to be attributed to Angie, then Shark Tale as a success has also to be attributed to her, not just Will Smith, right?

AMH & TGS were wonderful quality films and for every Tomb Raider & Mr. & Mrs. Smith commercial bs script success, you can have the luxury of doing quality films.
2005 was the last commercial (read no brainer) film for Angelina. She can ride and leverage that for the next 5 years. Brad can ride Babel & Ocean’s 13 for the next 5 years as well. He’s following in Robert Redford’s footsteps and making quality films under Plan B. He will be choosing the next generations film actors with his film projects.
Brad should not give interviews. He seems like such an idiot. She can’t possibly have good conversation with him.

Oh poor deluded Sam, Derailed did not make that amount its opening weekend. You have grown desperate and are now fudging numbers.
You did not answer my question as to what your 9000,000 meant? Or don’t you know?
Since you are now throwing out comparisons-
1. How many theares did Derailed open in in Spain? Average per screen?
2. How many theatres did AMH open in in Spain? Average per screen?
3. How many theatres did AMH open in in Germany? Average per screen?
Details please since you are such an authority. Also TGS was not an Angelina movie, it was a Matt Damon/RobertD movie, Angelina had a very minor role and very little screen time.
I would never waste my time asking for any info for a film of the ex’s as she do re Brad and angelina’s movies. She is a one dimensional actress and she is getting too long in the tooth for believable romantic comedies. Her role in Drew Barrymore’s new film is minor, and she will not have any sparks with BenA who does not excel in romantic roles either. If she had any common sense, which I do not believe she possesses, she would do like CourtCox and find a well writtne tv series, get some career success in her life, and give her fans something to focus on. It’s hard growing older in Holywood for almost all women as they approach 40. Not fair but that’s the way it is.
