Talk about irony. Yeah Vanessa didn’t do anything near as bad as what Britney and Lindsey do, but still she’s in no postition to judge like that.

How embarrassing to have said that last comment on national TV after what happened to her. I know her appearance on TYRA was taped before it happened, but it’s still reeeaaaly embarrassing.

I don’t think people should say that she is judging people - she has always said this and this show was taped before this unfortunate situation. I still don’t think she is a bad person and people need to let her live her a life. Every one needs to remember when they did something they would like to take back and how they feel and then multiply that by 100 as our’s wasn’t broadcasted to the whole world

yeah like paris, lindsey and britney are all bad people…everybody (like Vanessa) is judging them so why is ok for us to them and not her?? everyone just needs to worry about themselves and less about trying to purposely pick apart a celebrity…

It would have been better for Vanessa if she just would have answered those kinds of questions with “no comment. I like her and all but this isn’t the only time she said stuff along those line those lines. I think she probably (naively) thought the picture thing was behind her but still it’s better to not say anything then to stick you’re foot in you’re mouth. Ah, well I love her anyway and I don’t think she’ll be giving those kinds of answers in the future.

Well, this may have been shot before the photos came out but that is beside the point, they STILL HAD BEEN MADE, meaning she had no right to make comments like that at all. She knew she had made nasty photos of herself and sent them to someone so she is really being hypocritical.

When she made “the free stuff” comment she giggled. So it was just a joke.

What Vanessa meant by it’s easy to stay out of those situations was “Not to do anything that sets a bad example in public” being a good person and a good Role model arn’t mutually exclusive or together. If Lindsay only went commando around her house, and only drank at private parties and made sure not to drive afterwards, She’d still be doing questionable things but wouldn’t be a bad example becuase she was making sure to hide them. We all sin and act stupid, but if you try not to let impressionable people think that sin and stupidity are okay your being a good role model.

IF Vanessa said “they don’t ID you at clubs” that might be questionable, but saying she likes free stuff (probably shoes and things she could wear around hollywood and on the red carpet) is like saying your favorite part of your birthday is presents, or the best part about winning a raffle is the prize. So don’t worry that she likes getting free stuff. probably SO DO YOU!

I’m sure that she did not imply that the Spears, Paris, Lohan or whoever are stupid for doing those types of things, I just think that she thinks that if people are watching your every move that one should be careful with their actions. Vanessa took those pictures before she as famous and I believe that it was around the time that she filmed Thunderbirds, I don’t think that she thought the pictures would ever re-surface. Besides like someone said before that if they knew what they were going to look like at 30 they would have taken pictures of themselves earlier and would post them now!

There is a big difference between Britney and Lindsay getting into trouble and the mistake Vanessa made. Britney and Lindsay’s troubles are a direct result of their actions and behavior right now whereas Vanessa’s photo scandal happened because a jealous person leaked private photos to the media. It was a foolish judgment call she made in the past. Vanessa has gotten into any sort of trouble like Britney and Lindsay since HSM came out. So there’s no comparison there. I admit that she could have expressed her opinion about them differently, but otherwise I still admire her and continue to support her career.

I dunno… No matter how you look at it, She was being a hypocrite ( here’s the definition in all it’s glory: Hypocrite: 1. a person who pretends to have virtues, moral or religious beliefs, principles, etc., that he or she does not actually possess, esp. a person whose actions belie stated beliefs.
2. a person who feigns some desirable or publicly approved attitude, esp. one whose private life, opinions, or statements belie his or her public statements.
…. But, No matter, I still love her, hipocracy and all- I will always be a fan and wish her to win in the end.

You guys shouldn’t judge Vanesssa on something that was completely PRIVATE. It’s not like she’s going out doing drugs or getting arrested for DUI. What she did is child’s play compared to some of the things other stars have done.

#74 Stacy… Calm down… I am not perfect by far- my teen years were a horror if you ask me. Did bad things, said awful things, judged people, the works! But, I grew up- realized I was and idiot, owned up to my mistakes and became a better person. The nude pics do not phase me- it’s how she judged other people when she was far from innocent. It did not matter if it was taken 12 years ago she was aware of it. Thus, she should not have gone about judging other people. You should not worry about Vanessa- I am positive she knows she was a hypocrite(NOTE I SAID “WAS”)- And because she will want to prove herself in the , I doubt she’ll give answers like that in the future. Like I said, I am a fan and love her but, I am not going to sugar coat it. It is what it is.

i played along and watched the interview…… i was cringing the whole time b/c of all the junior high type conversation she and tyra were having. she does seem sweet but she got more excited talking about matt damon then her “boyfriend” zac….i think that’s rather telling. tyra is obnoxious. she tries to hard to seem endearing and witty and she comes across as fake to me. she especially was irritating in this by trying to act vanessa’s age in an attempt to bond and get her to open up about personal issues. i really wish that naomi campbell had hit her in the head with a cell phone when she had the chance.

Nothing says wholesome after a nude photo scandal like faux prom! Yeah, let’s remind everyone how she’s basically a high school student. Who posed nude in front of her stuffed animals, lol!

As to whether or not her stupid decision that she herself claims are “easy to avoid” was “as bad” as Lindsay or Britney’s, it doesn’t matter. It’s like, you can’t be a “little pregnant” — you’re either pregnant or not. And for everyone who gives grief to people who “judge” Vanessa for making a stupid decision, I didn’t see anyone here claiming they had never not made a stupid decision themselves or that stupid decisions are so easy to avoid like Vanessa herself did in that interview. Love her all you want, but the people saying she’s being a hypocrite for that comment have a valid right to feel that way. Doesn’t make a ho just because she’s a hypocrite or acting like naked photos weren’t easy to avoid or a stupid decision, but it just goes to show, like all of us, she is NOT perfect.

I think the only people that have been holding her up onto the Perfect and Now she fell off the pedastal are the people calling her a Hypocrite. I don’t think she is, if she was she’d of never admited to those photos and she’d of never apologized. Although this unfortante mini scandal has humanized her to alot of people it hardly puts her in the leagues with Britney who goes about commando and acting like a crazed nut or Lindsey who’s been need of an attitude adjustment since both her parents started going wacko years ago.

Having good morales, good ideals, a good strong upbringing, and knowing how to make a smart decision doesn’t make you impervious to mistakes. I have strong morales, a good upbringing, and I know how to make smart decisions like “Not drinking and driving” yet I’ve still done stupid stuff that well I do regret (and i’ve never repeated). Luckily I’m not famous so some ******* can try and ruin my life for their own thrills. Vanessa wasn’t as lucky and for that I feel sorry for her.

I personally consider Vanessa a good role model. She owned up when she could of easily lied considering most people thought they were fake. Not many of us would of come forward and admited it, hell I dont think even I’d of owned up.

I hate to say it but the type of person who leaks those sort of photos of anyone even god forbid Paris Hilton (and I really hate her) is just a plain a**hole. Its no one else’s business what goes on in private. It takes a really low person on the morality poll to get a thrill from it much less release that sort of stuff.

If your going to judge a person then be prepared to be judged.

There is truth behind that. She did make a weird decission by taking those pictures but it was before she was famous. How the hell would she know(at the time the pictures were taken) that she would become this big? She did avoid the parties and the drinking. She couldn’t helped the fact that someone she trusted leaked the photos. Photos taken before HSM when she made it big. She is being smart about her decissions. She keeps her private life a secret and stays away from the wild party style. the photo was LEAKED she didn’t put it there herself. It was an invasion of privacy.

Those nude photos were most likely taken BEFORE the original taping of her guest appearance on the Tyra Banks show. Knowing that she HAD ALREADY done something “stupid”, she shouldn’t have commented on Britney or Lindsay in that way. She doesn’t know them personally and does not know what they’ve been through.
