High School Musical star Vanessa Hudgens gave quite the interesting interview on Monday’s episode of The Tyra Banks Show.

Tyra threw Vanessa a faux prom because V never got the chance to attend her high school prom. Vanessa also burst into song a couple times throughout the show. Watch the video below! Here are some highlights:

So when you [and Zac Efron] are singing the songs “I LOVE YOU” and stuff, you guys were falling in love on set? I guess! [giggles] It’s fun to work with him. He’s really sweet and singing all of songs is always a blast.

Is Zac Efron a good kisser on-screen? (tight-lipped) Mmmmmm. (Tyra responds, “Oh, it’s that good? Mmmmm!!!!!!!!!!!!!”)

What is your ethnic background? My mom’s Filipino, my dad’s Caucasian. But within that, I’m Chinese, Spanish, American-Indian and Irish.

Best part about being famous? THE FREE STUFF.

When you read about young stars like Britney and Lindsay and them getting in trouble, how does that affect you personally? I honestly just think it’s stupid. [laughs] It’s easy to stay out of those situations. You just have to be smart about your decisions.

those pictures were taken long time ago so vanessa’s not a hyporite.. she made a mistake before and she regrets it.. she learned to know how to make right decisions now so please leave her alone!

Oh yes, she IS a hypocrite, because she judge them knowing that there are nude photos of her. It’s really poor to act like she is all inocent. BTW how old was she when she did these photos? I mean isn’t she just about 18 or something?!

i think its stupid of us to make assumptions on her or anyone.
first of all, she didnt set out to release any of those pictures, those were hers, they were private pictures that someone released without her permission.
she didnt do anything wrong, okay so it was wrong of her to take those pictures, but come on now, everyone makes mistakes, and shes entitled to make some, without people judging her. its her life, her choice and she is gonna have to live with that mistake for the rest of her life, so we should just leave the poor girl alone and let her deal with it, personally.

Um, I don’t know what this society has become when a teenage girl who takes nude photographs of herself qualifies as “classy”–or when said teenager is considered talented for her horrific singing and truly DISMAL acting. That’s pretty sad. “Classy and talented”…hmm. I would tend to think of someone like Kate Winslet or Nicole Kidman.

I thought your Bob Marley quote, “Who are you to judge the life I live? I know I’m not perfect and I don’t live to be, but before you start pointing fingers, make sure your hands are clean,” was great. It’s very true. However, # 248 certainly had a point in suggesting that this quote could be applied to Vanessa.

We all make mistakes. I’m not saying Vanessa should have admitted to her mistakes when asked that question, but I certainly think there are better answers. A simple “no comment” would have sufficed perfectly. She could have been truly “classy” and stated that everyone makes mistakes–and that we shouldn’t judge these young celebrities for their bad decisions. Hey, she could have used the Bob Marley quote!

(Just so you know, I really do like that quote. I’ve never heard it before–I think it’s very insightful.)

okay that interview was before the whole picture scandal so all u haters try to actually know all the situation before u start acusing,besides u most be really crazy to think that vanessa is as bad as Britney and Lindsay atleast she was sorry for what she did and apologized to the whole world something Britney and Lindsay have NEVER done!!!!
