OlderRosie Passes on Oprah
Rosie O’Donnell turned down an opportunity to promote her book “Celebrity Detox” with Oprah, opting instead to be interviewed by Diane Sawyer. (The book slams Barbara Walters, Donald Trump and Elisabeth Hasselbeck.)
Says Rosie’s rep to Page Six, “I’m sure Rosie will do Oprah’s show another time.”
Rosie quickly turned to her blog to express her reasons why she turned down the big invitation from Oprah. Here’s her reasons why, explained on her official blog:

Rosie needs deep therapy. It’s time for her to get away from the spotlight.

Seriously, Rosie O’Donnell is so ridiculous. “The View” is better off without her and I’m surprised Oprah would want to give Rosie a forum to voice her hate as well. I mean, how fake is Rosie O’Donnell? Can you guys believe there was a time when she was regarded as “The Queen of Nice”? That was before all the pretense dropped away and all that was left was a rude, classless, loud person that hardly anyone misses or cares to see again. This book? Desperate.
If she isn’t ready to discuss her book, she shouldn’t have published it.
She’s so deeply disturbed..She should not be around children either.
Kelly is a beautiful woman, and I hope and pray that she will soon realize that Rosie is seriously disturbed and a danger to all of those around her, including those precious children.

And you must truly be a wonderful person for wishing that a devoted couple breaks up as some sort of cosmic punishment for lacking a formal college education [which is not unusual for Rosie's generation] and for having lost a mother to cancer at the age of 10. Publishers decide when to publish WRITTEN works. Just because she doesn’t want to go on a bunch of talk shows to TALK about the book, which should stand on its own as a work or writing, isn’t necessarily a bad thing.

Rosie and all her friends openly admit she is not “The Queen of Nice.” It’s interesting you find the book “desperate” when all you really know about it comes from the same inaccurate sources who started calling Rosie by the name. Gee, maybe it’s the “news” media who are the real pretenders, and not the talent they like to lie about. Ever consider that?

Rosie is not anger, she is love. She has a past, like we all do, and she chose to share it with her fans even though much of it is so painful. Much of ours is painful too. She is sharing it so that others might not feel so alone.
