OlderBrad & Angelina Post-Premiere
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie didn’t let work (Tuesday night’s Jesse James premiere) interfere with parenting! The super parents dropped off son Maddox, 6, at his French school in New York City early Wednesday morning.
On the red carpet at the JJ premiere, Brad praised costar Mary Louise Parker as an actress and as a mom. Said Brad of Mary Louise “I haven’t spoken to her since I’ve heard [about her decision to adopt a child from Africa]. I think that’s a great idea… She’s a great mother, she graced our film, came in and did a really lovely part for us. She had her little boy (3-year-old son Will) out and she was a really lovely mother.”
Brad and Angie have four kids together, three of which are adopted–Maddox, 6, Pax, 3 1/2, Zahara, 2 1/2, and Shiloh, 15 months.

Honey, I don’t give a tin sh*t if you believe me or not. When I’m at work, I’m a professional. When I’m at home, I relax. I’m at home now. If you have a problem with that, it’s too damn bad. Yes, I’ve worked in foster care and adoption for over 20 years. I don’t assume to know Pax; all I know about him is what Angelina has said about him. But I’d expect him to go through a “wild” period while he is adjusting to a new country, a new family, a new language and a new life. Very small children tend to act out their confusion rather than talk it out, even if they don’t have to deal with a language barrier. Do you think he’d be better off left in that orphanage? While we’re on the subject, what are your credentials for insisting Pax will be destroyed by his adoptive parents changing his name, or are you just blowing smoke out your ass trying to sound like you know something? Have you seen anything to indicate that Pax is not happy, secure and loved in his adoptive family? I thought not.

One more thing. I would be willing to bet any amount of money that Angie and Brad ASKED Pax if he would like to change his name.

I doubt it. I wouldn’t ask a child that age if he wanted to pick a new name. I might ask a four year old and I’d definitely ask a five year old — and I’d respect a five year old’s decision to keep his name if he wanted to — but three is really kind of young for a child to be able to handle a decision like that.

Given the dismal state of the public elementary schools in NYC, Brad and Angelina would be crazy to send their children there if they didn’t have to. I scrimped and saved to put my own son through private school. It was a financial sacrifice but it was money well spent; he got the educational foundation that let him complete college and graduate school.

If you can show me anything that indicates Jen looks happy, I’d be happy to see it. Every picture I see her in, she has a lost and haunted expression, as if she no longer knows who she is or who she wants to be now that she is no longer Mrs. Brad Pitt and has lost her status on the A-list. I really believe that’s the only reason she married him, since she is on record as saying he was never the love of her life.

Actually Meli, I disagree to some extent. There is no denying that Posh and Becks (the heels reminded me of them in this pic) try super hard to impress, but I think Brad and Angelina’s look isn’t exactly thrown together without any consideration. I think the main difference is that Posh and Becks are so over the top where as Brand and Ange have a ‘less is more’ appraoch which works for them. Whether people think one is hotter than the other comes down to personal taste. I’m a fan of both couples for different reasons.

So, she sends her son to an expensive private school. So, she changes her sons name to Pax. So, she likes to wear black colored clothing. So, she has a glass of wine once in awhile. So what?
Why do some people care so much what she does or she doesn’t do? Why some people still trying to bring Angelina down? Is bring Angelins down going to make some people feel better? Why are some people so into Angelina? Why they can’t stand to see her enjoy her life? Why?
I don’t get this constant criticism of Angelina Jolie. She’s too thin. She’s too chuncky. She smiles too much. She doesn’t smile enough. Yikes!

She’s movie maker and makes okay and good and excellent movies, movies with substance. Some people are loosing out the art of movie making because they are so caught up in judging.
I read one post that says the person will not give a dime to Brad’s movie. So viewing a movie has become seeing favorite movie star or stars rather than veiwing the art of movie entertainment.
I don’t get it!
So what? Why are some people so into Angelina Jolie that they have to criticize all things she is and all things she is not?
