Brad Pitt & Jesse James: Real-life Relatives

Brad Pitt plays the title role in The Assassination Of Jesse James but according to Inside Edition, Brad and Jesse are real-life relatives.

According to Eric James, a descendant of Jesse James, Brad is a distant cousin of the infamous outlaw group Dalton Gang. A Dalton apparently married an Ogle who married a Pitt.

Inside Edition informed Brad of his “criminal” past at last night’s NYC premiere, and a stunned Brad responded, “I did not know that. I’ll have to look that up.”

That guy is a liar.
If Brad is supposedly related to a ‘Dalton” how does that make him related to James? Was Dalton Jesse James last name? How can you be realted to James if the connection was with a member of “The Dalton Gang”?

It is shown that Brad is a distant relation to William Pitt though. His genealogy is online. *sigh*

Oh, by the way, did anybody buy the new Troy DVD director’s cut? I already have the original Troy (of course) but am willing to buy this new one if it’s worth it.

I am a desecdent of Willian Barrett Travis who was the Col in charge of the Texans at the Alamo.

I wonder why Austan is one of the 4 places that the movie is opening at. If it does not come to SA soon, I will likey drive 70 miles to go see it.

Well this is an interesting topic - there appears to be lots of info. on the internet about it.

#79 please - why would you come here and accuse someone of lying without even taking two minutes to hit up Google and see if there is some veracity to the story? Google is your friend - learn how to use it. Contrary to popular opinion, the internet can be used more than just talking sh*t and bashing people. There is a connection but I’m not going to spell it out for you - go look it up yourself you lazy twit.

I’m off to do some more reading, but did you guys know that JESSE JAMES HAD A WIFE NAMED “ZEE”! I think Angie and Brad must have known about that when they named Zahara, or learned this shortly afterwards and started using it as Zahara’s nickname. The things you learn by hanging at JJ’s :lol:
