Justin Timberlake only had good things to say about former girlfriend Britney Spears despite her making headlines for out-of-the-ordinary behavior:
Oprah: What do you think is going on with Britney?
Justin: I don’t know, to be honest with you. I haven’t spoken to her in years. I mean, there’s no ill will—I have nothing but love for her. It’s funny because we dated each other at a time…wow, I haven’t talked about this in a long time. It’s interesting.
Oprah: But you’ve never talked about it to me, so it’s okay.
Justin: Hey, let’s get it in, girl.
Oprah: Let’s get it in.
Justin: We were teenagers, you know?
Oprah: Yes, famous teenagers.
Justin: I think that’s basically the best way to describe what happened to us. I think she’s a great person, and I don’t know her as well as I did …. What I do know about her is she has a huge heart, and she is a great person.

Justin’s a bish for not keeping it real about Shitney.
Well…I did mention its nice Justin didnt need to be rude about Britney in this interview, having said that the man has his own life and career to think about, Britney has messed up, however doesnt mean he has to revel in her mistfortunes, I dont think he was being fake here, what else is he supposed to say?
I can’t stand him. That smug arrogance he has just makes me want to smack him. I could maybe handle the arrogance if he had the extraordinary talent that he thinks he has, but he is so average that it makes it all hard to stomach. And don’t even get me started on how anyone can think he is attractive. Since when did buzzards look attractive?
I also think that Justin is sooo fake!! He’s bad-mouthed Britney many times at his informal concerts, but now He has to act polite on Oprah, and he knows that he had to protec t his image and his career, bcoz anything u say on Oprah becomes official!
And Justin is looking like the average guy at Wal-mart..He is not handsome anyway But he has a bit of a voice and the right people to make his songs sell. I’m not buying into this fake brat!

I disagree I find Justin Timberlake to be very pretentious and take. I mean look how Timberlake lied with the whole Janet Jackson Superbowl Incident. Justin was all about saving his own ass.Timberlake is the male Madonna. One minute he’s pop because its popular and because he’s white he can ride the whole R&B thing. Justin realizes by being white he can make a lot of money in white America and he comes across as pretentious. Justin also wants black and Latino and Asian kids to buy his CD as well he’s just a wigger trying to reach all demographics. I don’t find Justin’s music to be authentic R&B and soul music. I think Robin Thicke is more true to the genre and a much better artist.
Well he is saying something about her, that obviously the haters don’t want to hear! Everybody think that they can just tell you how she is, but You people don’t know sh*t about her, and her personal life, like We don’t sh*t about yours!

Britney Spears’ career has completely tanked; been exposed as not a true musician (just a lipsyncer), morever, not a mentally stable person at this juncture. A former tween/teen popstar whose old audience (those who grew up with her) have likely grown ‘out of her’ and this brand of phoney musician, and with all of her crazy antics as of late — her image is so wrecked — she no longer seems even marketable to the current crop of tweens/teens.
Since her and he are interwined from their earlier years — and most of the public can’t think of him and not of her and visa versa — his PR handlers must be going on damage control pre-emptive attack. In other words telling him: get out there and spin, boy, spin — seperate yourself from her immediately, emphasize that the time time (just silly teenage ‘love’) you spent with each other was/is insignifigant to your ‘grown-up’ life ….
Clarify that you and her have nothing in common, you and her are very differnet, you haven’t even seen or spoken to her in years, and most importnatly create this seperation so the public thinks (or knows, individual interpretation) that YOU are a true musician despite her being a silly, lipsyncing gimmick trainwrecked routine.
His handler’s are clearly very concernced that people still consider him and her to be cut from the same cloth, and this could negatively impact their bottom line: his image and his SALES. Particularly noting how he was speaking to a more mature audience (Oprah’s) - who never bought a boy band and/or britney spears cd in their life, unless they were buying it for their kids! :-)
I didn’t particularly buy much of what he said, and the reality: he’s used/exploited Britney and her faltering image for his benefit his entire solo career; making referencing to her/it as recently as just a few months ago at the grammys (I think it was) when he did ‘what goes around, comes around’ — but had a black light dvd recorder up to face similiar to that trainwreck ‘chaotic’…..anyone remember that? He’s just so full of it.

Actually Gimme more keeps climbing the charts, and most of us fans have grown with her, me included who am now in college and still a loyal fan, supporter and critic of Mrs. Spears. Profesionally, her only mistake was letting Jive control her and turn her into such a cash cow, but you know what, she’s 25 years old and she’s realized that she has a brain for herself and can finally do her own thing, all she needs is time. As for her personal life, personal matters should be kept personal, unfortunate for her she has cameras on her face 24/7.
Anyway what I wanted to address is how you say “their lives are ‘interwined’” which in reality, Justin depends heavily on Britney while the last thing Britney needs to make publicity is Justin, every single article I’ve ever read about him, there has to be a mention of Britney, but with Britney no Justin. It’s sad but this “mentally unstable trainwreck” is responsible for his career. If it wasn’t for cry me a river his album would’ve been just anothe mediocre pop/r&b wannabe effort. It seems that he will always live in her shadow. Only time will tell.
Justin is so awesome…..I love him so much…..His concerts are the best……Just can’t stop playing hi CD still going strong.
You’re unbelievable. It doesn’t matter what he says at all, you’ll either find the positive or negative. If he says good things he’s fake, if he says bad things he’s a jerk.
You all need a hobby, maybe start a sport to release all this attitude.
