OlderBrad & Angelina @ ‘Darfur Now’ Premiere
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, in matching white buttondown shirts, attend the premiere and advanced screening of Darfur Now at the Dag Hammarskjoeld Auditorium at the United Nations on Thursday in New York City.
Written and directed by Ted Braun, Darfur Now explores the continued conflict in Sudan through the experiences of six people. The film will open in theaters this nationwide November 2.
Says Variety, “Conscientiously upbeat and shiny, “Darfur Now” takes a tactical approach in addressing the ongoing African genocide: Present the appallingly grim situation in Sudan through the rosy lens of activism and political awakening. Star wattage provided by Don Cheadle and George Clooney could draw audiences unfamiliar with the crisis, while slowly increasing awareness might translate into ticket sales and letters of outrage to congressmen.”

I personaly believe that this film relates to such an important cause. I applaude Don Cheadle’s hard work, courage and committment to this. I can’t wait to see this movie and read his book. I hope that everyone makes an effort to do the same and it inspires people to act as creating awareness is not enough these days if it doesn’t promt behavioural changes in people. Angelina looks beautiful. I love them because they are always doing something productive with their time. Sounds like a good film as well. Glad to see them hanging out more with just them.
Also does Angelina still look pregnant to anyone? Because she doesn’t look pregnant to me in those pictures.
They both look so tired, they need to slow down a bit plus taking care of 4 kids that’s really hand full. I hope, they will take time to relax & rest for a while, so many red carpet & premieres for them these past few days. I love to see their pictures but for some reason, I want them to lay low & have their privacy & enjoy their kids.
Thanks for the new thread Just Jared. It is good to see a web site shine the spotlight on a terrible crisis in the world such as the situation in Darfur. It is good to read up on BP and AJ projects, their humanitarian work and their careers without all the nasty gossip and slanderous BS. The Darfur Now film sounds interesting. It is good to see celebrities support the effort for peace and relief in the area. Keep up the good work Just Jared. Peace to all.

I feel you. There is nothing more irritating than not being able to breath when you sleep. It’s the worst thing!! I have it for five days but it’s slowly goes away now. I was coughing a lot and I had fever. But now I’m fine. Are you able to sleep now??
Don Cheadle is another celebrity that I truly admire and respect. He is a great actor and a great humanitarian. He is another person that truly believe in the causes that he takes on and not only walk the walk but talk the talk as well.
They both look lovely together!!
