OlderBrad & Angelina @ ‘Darfur Now’ Premiere
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, in matching white buttondown shirts, attend the premiere and advanced screening of Darfur Now at the Dag Hammarskjoeld Auditorium at the United Nations on Thursday in New York City.
Written and directed by Ted Braun, Darfur Now explores the continued conflict in Sudan through the experiences of six people. The film will open in theaters this nationwide November 2.
Says Variety, “Conscientiously upbeat and shiny, “Darfur Now” takes a tactical approach in addressing the ongoing African genocide: Present the appallingly grim situation in Sudan through the rosy lens of activism and political awakening. Star wattage provided by Don Cheadle and George Clooney could draw audiences unfamiliar with the crisis, while slowly increasing awareness might translate into ticket sales and letters of outrage to congressmen.”

Brad looked so gorgeous and very sweet on GMA. Specially when he said Angie is amazing, his expression is the sweetest. Love him more and more.
ITA. How sad that there are women who would not want that from their man.
Angie and Brad bring out the best in each other and contribute to the world in a positive way. You can see how happy and fulfilled they both are. Angie has an Oscar, btw, so she doesn’t need to prove anything professionally, you jealous hags. She can devote herself to charitable causes if she wants to. It’s the other gal who’ll be cranking up rom-coms when she’s 50, still sitting around in her Goddess Circle, examining her navel. I pity her.

Don Cheadle is another celebrity that I truly admire and respect. He is a great actor and a great humanitarian. He is another person that truly believe in the causes that he takes on and not only walk the walk but talk the talk as well.

In the news today was about the flight of Iraq refugees, so many things happening around the world, journalists are giving some needed exposure about these people, in part, thanks to Ange for being there & let the people know that refugees even in Iraq needs help. Darfur is one place that is closer to Ange & Brad’s heart. I hope, people take noticed of their flight. More power to Brad & Ange, I hope after L.A. premiere, they will relax & rest. They’ve been really working hard lately.

I am so proud to be Angie fan. At a young age of 26, she decided her life philosophy needed a new direction. She became less self-absorbed and became a humanitarian and a single mother. She focused her life on alleviating other’s pains and ills rather than perpetuating her energy toward self-gratification.
While her haters constantly focus their attention on her teen and early 20’s years, she has transformed herself into this selfless, kind-hearted, beautiful woman.
I am sure Brad is kicking himself silly that he gets to go home to her. He doesn’t deserve someone as amazing as her, and he knows it. That’s why he is doing darnest to support her in every way. Average folks cannot comprehend someone like Angie, so media keeps one-dimensional folks happy by writing endless cartoonish fictionalized version of Angie. Unfortunately, I have to read trolls messages in this site that proves my point about the tabloid’s focus audience–one-dimensional folks who cannot comprehend someone as complex as Angie.
She needs to do something about those massive folds around her mouth and nose. It’s ruining her face.

Hey Sheri saw you reply on both thread, glad you are doing okay and that it’s a happy busy that is keeping you away from Jared.
I enjoyed the GMA clip, Brad is one of the most charming , down to earth celeb. When you read his past interviews, he always talks about “sadness” I think even in one of his interviews after he split with Paltrow he went even deeper, I wonder if Brad has ever suffered from depression. Cause he has always talked about this. I also realized watching this interview and some of his interviews for Jessie James promo, that Brad is truly proud and touched to with this film because of the connection to where he grew up. He called it “home”. I think he said he was suprised how much that meant to him. I think the interview was sweet, and I perfer Diane Sawyer than Ann Curry. I think Brad likes Diane Sawyer also.
