OlderBrad Pitt is a Fighter
Brad Pitt will star opposite Mark Wahlberg in boxing flick The Fighter, a drama about boxer Irish Mickey Ward and his unlikely path to become world lightweight champion.
According to Variety, Brad replaced Matt Damon because of scheduling conflicts.
Mr. Pitt will play Dicky Eklund, Mickey’s half-brother and a talented fighter who once went the distance with Sugar Ray Leonard in a title fight but then turned to crime and landed in prison. Then he turned his life around and helped his underperforming brother find the spark for a remarkable run that led to the world title.
The Fighter will be directed by Rachel Weisz’s hubby Darren Aronofsky (Requiem for a Dream, The Fountain).
You just know there will be lotsa shirtless and sweaty scenes in this film. Ladies, buy your drool rags now.

While you’re counting flops, did you include Jenzilla the moose’s turkeys?
Her career looks like world war 2: BOMB after BOMB after BOMB after BOMB.
Angelina can get a part in any movie she wants.
Jenzilla hasn’t worked for over two years, and she finally got a bit part in a rom-com (which is all she’s fit for) while at least four othr actors got star billing over her. Ouch! That’s gotta hurt.
And as if that wasn’t enough — word is that another role she was supposed to get may be yanked out from underneath her and given to Katherine Heigl instead. The studios want a winner and they know Jenzilla ain’t it.

It’s good see Angie out supporting the UN and Darfur once again — hope while she is not filming next year that we get to see her doing more UN work. Maybe even taking Zahara to see her birth place since she hasn’t been there since her adoption.
