The View co-host Elisabeth Hasselback takes the cover of Pregnancy magazine November 2007. She has a 10-page maternity fashion spread and a Q&A, where she has a few choice words for Rosie and being a conservative mother.
On being a conservative mother in 2007: “Being a conservative mother isn’t the challenge. Being a conservative in New York City on television is the challenge. Once I had [first daughter] Grace, I had more reassurance and affirmation as to why I have felt the things that I’ve felt for a long time. I want to make sure that the decisions I’m making and the votes that I’m casting are going to create long-term benefits for Grace and my next child and hopefully more to come after that.”
About being pregnant and arguing with Rosie O’Donnell: “When a woman cries, it’s never seen as a sign of strength and never seen in a positive light. A man cries and he’s sensitive, and a woman cries and she’s weak. So even when you’re debating another woman, the first person to cry pretty much loses.”
Elisabeth is due with her second child on November 11th.

Ok Elisabitch is a pathetic intolerable righteous ***** and she is not all that pretty. In one of the pictures where she is wearing black dress if you look closely it looks like her stomach is her butt and her head looks like it is twisted facing her back. She almost loks like a devil and her eyes are like that of a snake or you can say devil eyed.
I am tired of hearing almost everyone saying that she is entitiled to her opinions. Nobody is denying that fact.She on the other hand does not want any one else to voice their
opinions once she has said what she has to say.
It is the fact that she wants people to accept her views and that is it. She wants people to pretty much bow down and say to her, Yes maam, you are right and I that I accept your view. In fact if anyone like Rosie did question her about her dumb views she would go ballastic and would get to the point of almost crying, mostly because she did not have any answers. She had only memorized enough to make a argument and nobdy else had ever really questioned her. So Miss Ugly was not ready for any questions.
EH is raising her daughter to be just like her and she made that statement a few days ago and from what I have heard her daughter is a hell raiser, cannot behave anywhere that she goes and Eh also expects people to accept her for the brat that she is.
Hopefully Whoopi will be able to put her in her place everytime she opens her mouth about her political views, which is one thing but when she starts sounding like a parrot somebody will have to clip her wings.
It is fun to see everyone debate about any hot topics but the bottom line is this idiot gets combatative just so she can win.
It think she will be jealous of Sherri Sherpard who is so sweet and genuine and is so loving and caring.Sherri is going to bring a lot of positive views and won’t get stuck on ’second gear’ like

so how can all of you Rosie fans out there be criticizing elisabeth for her opinion? No one has to agree with her, but it is her job to state her opinions on television. When did it become a crime for someone do do their job, have an opinion, have strong morals??? Elisabeth is courageous because she goes on tv every single day and states her beliefs. I’m sixteen, and I agree with most of what she says. It’s so good to be able to see a young, beautiful woman on television expressing more conservative views. Do you think I am a horrible person because I’m conservative? I hope not because none of you know me, and none of you know elisabeth either. How can you judge some one and call them bad names if you don’t even know them? It’s also funny how some people are calling Elisabeth trashy because it seems like many of these people are using un-called-for language…how extremely classy of them. I admire Elisabeth so much for having a high moral standard. She is an amazing person, and she doesn’t deserve the mean things people say about her. No one does. People–all people–deserve respect, and it is really sad that some people disrespect people for using their INALIENABLE RIGHT to LIBERTY. freedom of speech is so important, that’s why we can all be posting our opinions right now, and I just don’t think its OK for people to “HATE” others because they use that freedom. I don’t know, I might be young and naive or whatever, but I thought that people in the United States were kinder and more accepting than this.
Anyways, Elisabeth is my hero because she has the guts to do what she does even though there are always people criticizing her. It must be so hard to have her conservative views and be in the media since the media is so largely liberal. People call her a puppet with no real opinions of her own, but in these peoples’ perfect world, she would just start saying what they believe in. Then she wouldn’t be a puppet, she would be brilliant right??? That’s ridiculous. Just because someone doesnt have the same opinion as someone else doesn’t mean they are stupid, it means that they are strong-willed and smart. Elisabeth is beautiful, smart, strong, courageous, and more and no one can take that away from her.
It is unfortunate when “knee-jerk” liberalism becomes the requirement for intelligence, especially in a world fraught with increasing peril. Only sharing the variety of opinions across our nation and world will eventually help us come to terms with the problems we face. The answers will not be from one side of the political spectrum or another; in fact, the extremes are usually the cause of problems rather than solutions. If any of you really believe someone else is stupid because they voice conservative views, then your own self-righteous claim to intelligence is in question. There are intelligent people and opinions on all sides, and history has shown the positive and negative contributions of liberal and conservative ideas. If you cannot accept this, then you are doomed to live with blinders on until something really shakes your foundation. My advice is to look for truth, not for platitudes and dogma, and really examine issues before agreeing with your favorite source of opinion.
I can not believe how RUDE you people are!!!!!!! I am a Republican & PROUD OF IT! How dare you be so MEAN & RUDE just because she has different views than you have. You call yourselves tolerant? You should be ashamed!
I think Elisabeth is a wonderful person & example for everyone. I don’t know how she does it with so many rude people on her back all the time, but I applaud her.
I am feeling more and more annoyed with Elisabeth and am feeling that no experience except hers is valid.
