Adrian Curry’s 15 min has been over for so long. Yesterday I saw her on Dr. Phil, her and her sugardaddy. She’s pathetic.

Black History month wasn’t created because Black people suffered so much in America. It’s really about highlighting contribution made to America that would otherwise be forgotten by mainstream society. It’s a shame that mainstream society doesn’t acknowledge the contribution of others and would otherwise turn a blind eye to such contributions, and hopefully in the future the case will be that there is no need to emphasize such contributions by creating a month dedicated to them. I’d like to know how much Ms. Curry knows about Black history, honestly, the only part of Black history she seems obsessed with is Black slavery. Contributions made by Black people in this country goes far beyond slavery, how insulting.

Anyway, BET should be boycotted due to it’s crap programming. And BET isn’t the only other station that caters to a certain ethnic group. There’s also Univision, Asian television depending on what part of the US you live. Why single out BET?

I agree with her. I am sick of people saying all they want is equality, but having a month completely dedicated to one group is absurd and not equal. Racism is diminishing, we only hear about it nowadays because it is the exception, not the norm. The common arguments of black poverty and the ghetto as examples of inequality are remnants of a previous era that has not yet been successfully overcome, but they are improving, against all speculation to the contrary.
I have spent the past 4 years studying and researching this particular topic, so, while I may not be of the minority myself, I do have access and knowledge that goes beyond the often ignorant people on these types of message boards.

there is as asian heritage month (may) and an american indian heritage month (november), and a hispanic heritage month(mid sept-mid oct),…. black history month is just more well-marketed than the rest. if we lived in a perfect society we wouldn’t needs months to celebrate our diversity, we’d celebrate it year round, but the world isn’t perfect.

There are very big issues regarding health (on average they die 17 years earlier than the rest of the population), their treatment while in custody, access to facilities, acknowledgement of their cultures and heritage, native land rights…the list just goes on and on. It is issues like this that must be resolved before we can all be united as one. In terms of America, for many African Americans, a system of oppression exists through the education system. If schools in certain communities (particularly the ghettos) are not equally subsidised for education, students are less likely to get into college and so earn a higher wage as an adult and so remain in a lower class of society. It is ignorant people who refuse to acknowledge these apparently inherent differences that prevent them being resolved.

Secondly, the reason we have a black history month is because our history has not been documented in any of America’s history books. As a result Black History Month was created to teach (young) black people about our race and our contributions to society.

Thirdly, our race was enslaved for over four hundred years. No other race has been held in slave for half that amount of time. It is black slave labour that build up this country from the south and up. I am not sure if you are aware but slave labour means without pay. So Black people and generations upon generations of blacks worked for over four hundred years without pay to build America, Great Britain, Spain, Portugal, Brazil, Canada, France, Italy. You name the country African slaves worked and died building up their economies.

Fourth, I do not think someone such as yourself with your basic miseducation has the right to disrespect my race, my people and our contributions to this country and the world. Please remember that for hundreds of years during and after slavery and still many many years after the emancipaion of slavery in the middle 1800’s blacs not allowed to attend schools it was against he law in most staes in this country for a black person to be educated.

As well we as a race were terriorized by the Klu Klux Klan who were sanctioned by American lawmakers for many many years into the 19th century.

I am tempted to forgive you for your rant about this issue under the guise of caring about all people and write it off to ignorance but I am gathering that your purpose for writint this piece is coming from a place of publicity seeking. I think black people are whinning to much. First they say they want to be equal, but wait we need our own history month and tv station. SO wait you want to be equal, but want your own stuff. I’m also Chinese-American…..Even though we do have asian history month or whatever. Do they teach that in school?? Hell no. And how many people actually celebrate it or have walks to promote it, or have some marathon on television about it? With that being said…how many asian people protest about that and talk about it? I completely agree with RC…there is a difference between being proud and then just being self centered. People just need to stop being arrogant and stop playing the race card. When they go to buy a car, people give them a higher price b/c they think they can take advantage of my parents. So my parents just try to take care of themselves and watch out. One time my dad went to get an oil change, when he got home he checked it and notice that it wasn’t even changed the oil was still black. He went back to the place and they didn’t even pay any attention to him. Did he put up a fit and play the race card? Hell no. he left and never went there again, and told his friends that he knew goes there not to go.

So, bottom line there are other races in this country that never gets heard. So don’t be ignorant and self centered.

The reason we have Black History month is so that our teachers can teach us about the black people that helped society because our text books don’t seem to cover any of that. History books today are White Man’s history. I want Adrianne to talk about that before she starts talking about ending black history month.

Adrianne Curry is a typical little white girl.

She’s so naive and so stupid. She thinks she has the right to say whatever just because she’s partially well-known and because she’s white. She acts like what she’s proposing will make a huge difference in out world when all she’s doing is starting up more fights. White people are all the same. They’re always talking about how they want equality and peace between different races. And then they go and speak out agains having a specific month set out to celebrate the differences of a specific race. She needs to shut her pretty little mouth up.

First of all, her entire rant is a sign of her misguidedness and ignorance. Someone needs to send this girl back to school. There is a month for every heritage out there in the United States. Hispanics, Asians, Blacks and more. Yet she goes out of her way to target BLACK History Month, BLACK channels. Her statement would make a little more sense if she complained about ALL the segragation between races when it comes to months. However, she aims only for the black race. That was her first mistake.

Second of all, instead of complaining about why we have a specific month for every race, she should complain about why we do not celebrate EVERY race EVERY DAY. Believe it or not, there is still a lot of racism against african-americans, hispanics, asians, people of different colors and races in the United States. In the entire WORLD. Before she speaks out on such a controversial issue, she should know her facts as well. That was her second mistake.

Third, every race has it’s own TV channel. There are at least two Hispanic channels on Dish Network, every other channel is predominantly a white channel, there’s a Chinese channel, an Indian channel, a Native American channel, and so forth. African American’s are not the only race celebrated, however they DO deserve to be celebrated. Every race deserves to be celebrated, every day. Proclaiming that no races should have their own channels, but only planning to boycott one particular channel of one particular race (BET, a BLACK channel) was her third and final mistake.

That girl made a huge mistake when she decided to rant about the unfairness of Black History Month. I garuntee if she were black, she’d have no problem with it. She’s proving that months like Black History Month are still needed because there are people out in the world that are STILL racist, her included. But Miss Adrianne Curry can shove it up her big, fake white ass for all I care. Black History Month isn’t going anywhere.

In a way I agree with her. Everybody should have an ethnic history month. The Germans, Italians, Asians, Native Americans, Hawaiians, Japanese, all of these ethnicities should have a month to celebrate their heritage and culture along with the many hispanic pride holidays and black history month. I feel black history month shouldn’t be banned, I think every race deserves a month’s holiday like black history month.

The language we use is so powerful. By denoting a Black History month, we are stating that African Americans are different and thereby require a separate month to be celebrated. It should be American History, and it should include all the great people that make up this country from all parts of the world. Better yet, have it be World History month and celebrate greats from all over our little planet.

Note to (30) margaret: St. Patrick’s day is not about celebrating a Saint, in USA it’s become drink as much beer as you can day. Christmas has become Shop As Much As You Can Season. Valentine’s has become You’re A Loser If You Don’t Have a Partner Day.

As a culture we need rituals and celebrations, but all of ours have been stolen big box corporations. Let’s celebrate in our families, in our communities in small and great ways all the milestones and shared losses that make up who we are in all our myriad different cultures and flavors.

It’s the NAACP’s worst nightmare for blacks and whites to actually get along, as it would mean there is no more need for their existence. It’s the so-called black leaders and “the community” who keep tension and hate stirred up because it justifies people like Jesse Jackson’s and Al Sharpton’s diatribes and attention whoring. These losers have made an entire career off spouting racist garbage.

And excuse me, but to the person who is screaming about this country being built by blacks, um no. Wrong. It was built by everyone. Blacks were not the only ones working, and only about 8-10% of white Southerners owned slaves. The rest were poor and lived in worse conditions than the black slaves. This country was built on the ingenuity of all the immigrants that came here.

And the majority of blacks don’t know jack about slavery and how it really was because you are taught about it from a revisionist perspective. The high school history books are wrong. To find out the truth you have to go and read diaries and letters in dusty old archives. Did you know slaves could earn money? That they often purchased their own freedom? Were taught in many cases to read and write? That under the task-oriented system of labor in the Carolina Lowcountry, most slaves didn’t work past noon? That old people didn’t work, pregnant women didn’t work, children didn’t work? That there were (GASP!) black people that owned slaves? That as early as the 1840’s, many slaveowners were manumissing (granting them their freedom) to many slaves because there were too many of them to feed clothe and shelter? That’s right, they just let them go. That the most complete slave on a plantation was the Plantation Mistress? That there are letters written among planters that discuss converting to a wage system decades before the Civil War? That the North pushed the South into the war due to the high tariffs that began in 1827(by 1857, a full 80% of tax revenues collected from the federal government came from the southern ports of Norfolk, Charleston, Savannah, Mobile, and New Orleans? No wonder they were pissed! Look it up.

You can read slave account after slave account taken in the 1930’s that shows the elderly slaves clearly felt life was better before the war. They also tell of having to shoo poor white children away from the cabin door who were looking for a handout. The slaves had food, and their families did not.

I could go on and on, because I know the real history. Native Americans were enslaving each other long before the first Africans and Europeans set foot on this continent, by the way. No, it doesn’t justify what was done to Native Americans, but when it comes to slavery, there are far too many blacks who think they are the only people who have ever suffered, that slavery was something purely invented by the white man to perpetuate upon the black man, and that is just plain not true. The Vikings were the biggest slave traders of the Ancient World, and they were dealing in people with red and blonde hair and blue eyes. The word “slave” comes from “Slav”. The Slavic countries were the prime hunting grounds, and in those days, a typical slave had blonde hair and blue eyes. In the Roman Empire, you had far more dark-skinned people who owned light-skinned people than the other way around.

If you think that white people went into the jungles of Africa and conked black people on the head and drug them onto ships, then you are sadly mistaken. Blacks hunted and sold each other. Blacks sold their enemies into slavery for huge profits. If you want to blame someone for it, blame the black Africans who were trading in each other as human cargo centuries before the Europeans got involved. The Arabs were the first to go into to Africa with the express purpose of removing slaves to the middle east. Again, look it up. DO some homework and educate yourself.

Oh, and Frederick Douglass is a liar. For one, he wrote stories in his little propaganda paper about how his poor sainted mother died a horrible death, she was neglected, blah, blah, blah…when in reality she lived out her life being taken care of and lived to an old age.

If we knew then what we know now, we would have picked our own damn cotton. Which, by the way PLENTY of white people did.

I am sick to death of hearing about how black people don’t have the same opportunities as whites. That’s the biggest load of crapola ever. There are more special allowances and entitlement programs set aside for blacks than anybody else. There are more standards lowered for blacks than anybody else. They get more second chances and do-overs than anybody else. In this day and age, there is no excuse and no one to blame but their own selves.

When one feels the need to comment on a certain issue..it helps t take a look back at history and understand why teh history months were created. I believe there is Native AMerican month and a pacific something mothn.,..so dont understand how teh chinese feel neglected..afterall some folks just got on the train and MADE descision to move to AMERICA. There are many months that celebrate different ethnic backgrounds; not just African Americans. And there is White Entertainment Television; every other channel besides BET! When you’re in China you don’t order Chinese food; you just order food. If African Americans and other races were included on most mainstream shows (not talking about the token) we wouldn’t need our own.

Black people have more trouble with other peoples attitudes toward us. I have good looks and education, yet I have gone many places and white people automatically want to keep me out of things. Black people have f-e-a-r. A lot of us dont believe we can do anything we want because of society. White people can go anywhere they want. They can go to the blackest nations and get respect. Blacks are always on the lookout not to enter places or do our wildest dreams because whites and other races keep saying we are not allowed in or they don’t want us there. Whites are allowed to do everything! They can sing rap music and encroach on areas that are nonwhite and be accepted. Jews can hide who they are because of the color of their skin. Black people can’t do that. White people are so hate-filled that when they meet a black person who is different, they still try to make him feel small or like are better than him. I’ve experienced this so many times. They act like we’re not supposed to have nice things or what they have. White people must get over themselves first and stop feeling ENTITLED. They generally think everything belongs to their race.

That holds people back. You can say get over it, but it’s not that easy, especially when you have generations of that attitude before you. Do you know how it feels to not feeling welcome in places or to be called ugly monkeys and stupid? It’s YOUR attitudes and prejudgment of us that makes a lot of us insecure and feeling like why get educated when people are still racist. You have to constantly fight. You might go for years and be around nice people and then one day, you have the most ugly experience with a white racist. It’s happened to me all my life. You can ignore, but what if it’s a boss or a person on your job and you can’t quit?

This is not making excuses. Blacks have it h-a-r-d-e-r than any other race and whites will never fully understand what we feel like. We have to push harder in every aspect of our lives. We can’t just walk into country clubs, play golf, surf… or whites have an attitude of Why Are You Here. You Don’t Belong Here. This Is Ours. Leave! Why? Because of their superior attitude and thinking they are the best race around. That’s the hub of it. It doesn’t matter if you are a decent black person. I agree with her underlying point, and think it’s definitely valid. First and foremost we ARE Americans. And it is true, there are so many African-Americans that are so quick to pull the race card (hello, Kanye West) … I think that we, as a country, need to stop pulling ourselves into groups and just be. Miss Ellen, I really do not understand where you are getting your information. The 400 years of slavery refers to 1619 when the first African slaves were brought to Jamestown. Slavery of Africans started with the Portuguese in the 15th century. So 110 years is just a little off. Africans did enslave members of other African tribes but that type of slavery was completely different. When one tribe defeated another slaves could be taken, but they were not enslaved forever and were not treated like slaves in America were. Furthermore, slaves in America were not treated as well as you suggested. Sure some were well cared for and even taught to read but they were by no means a majority. All of the situations you brought up were isolated cases. It is a fact that slaves were seen as property not human beings. I think you are forgetting the more than 3,000 blacks lynched in America, the 3/5’s compromise, and the fugitive slave laws. And when you said only 8-10% of white southerners owned slaves you were right but those few rich southerners owned all of the millions of slaves. Each owner did not just have a few slaves. The points you are giving are completely one sided and missleading. Many of your ideas may be true but definitely not on a large scale. I wouldn’t be surprised if next you start arguing that slavery was good for Africans.

As a black woman, I think there are some things you just can not understand, unless you are a minority. This is one of those things.

I think Black History Month is important. We live in a WHITE society, how often do we as black people get to celebrate our culture in a positive way? How often do we examine the positive contributions we have made to society? Very rarely.

To all the other minorities complaining . . . if you want a Chinese history month, or a Mexican history month, you should fight for it! Love your culture and be proud of who you are, because you deserve to be celebrated too.

i kind of agree, i’m asian. and i didn’t know about asian heritage month, or native american’s. but you see, in school they don’t teach us that. they highlight hispanic and black history month. i do get her point, she is very well educated. i think it would be far, because you don’t see teachers teaching us about native american’s or asian’s unless it’s a subject in your school textbook. they don’t remind us “oh, hey class, today is the beginning of asian heritage month”, and they don’t teach us anything. i guess african american’s and other’s don’t understand it, yet.

I agree with you to a point, I really do. I know that black people are treated differently sometimes, and I know that there are certainly white racists out there. But all white people are not like that. We don’t appreciate being lumped all together in an amalgam any more than a black person does.

My frustration comes from the notion on the part of some blacks that nobody has suffered but them, that they somehow deserve more chances and assistance than anybody else. In this day and age we are all out here working and just trying to make it. I don’t get any special set-asides made for me. There are loans and finanacial aid for college my children are not elligible for because their skin is the wrong color. There’s no United Colled Fund for them.

I have been in line at the store and the black salesgirl is all smiles and chatting with her black customers, and then I get up there and she has no smiles and grettings for me…it’s all eyerolling and flinging my stuff into bags. Why? I didn’t do anything to her, yet she feels she needs to treat me this way to somehow give me some “payback” for something that happened with a small percentage of people 200 years ago? Fine, I’ll give her that,

This belief on the part of non-whites that having white skin automatically opens doors for you and makes your life automatically easy is bull. White people work hard for what they have. There is no special white magic genie that poofs up a bunch of money for us. We don’t have any special trees in our backyards that grow dollar bills, I assure you. There is no secret to it but hard work, and alot of it. If you want something badly enough you can achieve it. I worked in an office that dealt with criminals. I had an open mind about it, but I noticed that by far, whites were the rudest people walking through the door. Not humble even after coming out of prison. They committed crimes and came in with an “air” like they weren’t supposed to get punished or like they should be above the law. The asians and hispanics were the nicest. The blacks were few because of the demographics of the area. Mostly drug dealers and robbers. Of the few, they were very quiet. When black men saw me, a black person, they looked ashamed. Normal, everyday whites think their race is superior and it’s not going to change. I think it’s part of their culture to think they are better than other people. Racism is alive and well.

When men go to prison, they still divide themselves according to race.

Music TeleVision (MTV) hit America’s airwaves with a sonic boom 25 years ago. The pioneering cable television network also received a deafening tongue-lashing from a super ticked Rick James, who publicly declared it “blatant racism” when MTV refused to air his Super Freak video and other videos by Black artists because they didn’t fit the network’s rock-dominated format.

“A lot of Black asses are going to come together and explode on MTV,” James said in 1983. “There are no Blacks on MTV’s program list except for Tina Turner, and she stopped being Black about 10 years ago. MTV puts on little White punk groups who don’t even have record deals. Blacks are missing exposure and sales.”

Modeled after Top 40 radio, MTV’s video playlist had a meager few Black videos in 1981. Most of its early videos came from England where music videos were already common.

Eddy Grant, Musical Youth and Joan Armatrading were some of the Black artists from that country whose videos were shown during MTV’s inception. Tina Turner, Jon Butcher Axis, The Bus Boys and Donna Summer were some of the other Black artists whose videos were shown because their music fit the format.

James, whose music helped define “punk funk,” fought for two years to have more Black videos shown on MTV. ABC’s “Nightline” featured his much publicized crusade. But the outspoken performer, who died in 2004, became agitated because it seemed as though he was on the battlefield’s front line alone.

The sad truth is that she is not alone with her thoughts and feelings. The awful truth is that while segregation may no longer be legal, it is still a very prevalent issue. We can hide, we can ignore it, but the statistics in the job market and in education do not lie.

One channel on a system of hundreds in no way signifies the end of an issue that let me think back, was still an issue in the 50’s. While we may be nearly 30 to 40 years out from that era, we as African Americans can not forget nor do we want to forget.

As for the comments concerning other races and religions not being heard: This is your time to speak up! Make your voices heard. If you feel that you are among the forgotten, start writing letters to your politicians, start electing officials that want to address your issues.

4.) Slavery still affects people. All races have experienced racism, but there are studies that prove African-Americans are still the most affected by racism and slavery in America.

Let’s first talk history then.

There is a Hispanic Heritage Month. It is the month of September. Hispanic groups fought for the inclusion of their history and got Congress to recognize this in 1988. Google it.

There’s also Chicano studies, Spanish language channels, etc. Is this what you mean by “we have moved on and decided to make the most of the opportunities given to us”? Because if so then looks like Black people are doing just like you. You know, moving on by creating a month dedicated to their contributions, forming University programs geared towards their specific struggle or identity in this country, etc. Blacks and Hispanic are acting one in the same.

And because you are too daft to pick up th correlation between fighting for legal status and fighting for recognition of your contribution to the country, let me explain it to you. Each of these acts are umbrella’d under civil rights. When Hispanic groups organized rallys to demand legal status in the U.S. they did so based on their belief that Hispanics have historically contributed to the building and success of America just as much as anyone else and thus have equal right to citizenship.

It’s a shame you are Mexican and don’t seem to know much about your own history. It seems as if you are too busy trying to distance yourself from it IMO.

Although, I do not agree that boycotting BET or Black History Month is necessary, this whole race thing is a big problem that is growing bigger, and someone has to speak up about it. I agree that slavery in America was horiffic and no American of any skin color should feel good about that part of American history. Should we have a special day set aside to honor those who suffered at the hands of such ignorance? Absolutely. It should be a legal, legitimate holiday, in which, schools are closed, banks are closed and services are held in honor of the day.
And as far as Black History Month goes, I’m still fine with that. There’s nothing wrong with honoring history and being proud of one’s heritage. I have already said I am a white woman. And, I have always been one to get behind anyone who is discriminated against and do what I can to help. As the mother of a teenage son, I am appalled by the injustice of Genarlow Wilson, the kid in Atlanta who had his future pulled from beneath him for engaging in something that many teens do. Because he was black and the victim was white? Most certainly.
And the Jena 6 thing is appalling! On all sides! The white people are ignorant and should be punished. But, violence isn’t the answer on the side of the black people either. I have heard conflicting reports as to how badly hurt the white kid was, but, my understanding is he was able to go out that very evening. If so, then , heck yes, the black kids were punished way beyond what should be reasonable. Because they were black? Yes!
And, as far as the demonstators that are there right now, it sounds pretty peaceful to me. Hopefully a good point is made.
Funny, but I get a lot of my information from a “black” radio show. I love r and b music and my station happens to have a talk show on in the afternoons. Many times they will speak of a subject that is universal in skin color, relationships, money issues, etc… and I enjoy the show. But, here is where I have a problem. It isn’t a universal show, unbiased in skin color, as listeners are constantly told to support one another in black owned businesses. I don’t support a particular business because of the skin color of the business owner. “Shop at such and such and support the white man.” How stupid does that sound.
Personally, I don’t see how we are ever going to get across this great divide if people don’t stop all of that nonsense. But hey… maybe a large part of the black population doesn’t really want to get across the great divide. Isn’t that possible? Is it really equality you want? Because if I were fighting for equality, I know I wouldn’t be telling people of my skin color to “support people with our same skin color”
Speaking of skin color…
When my son was still young, I married a black man. And I am sincere when I say my son didn’t realize the man was of a different race and that he was “different” than us. He just thought we had “beige” skin and my husband had “brown” skin. (And incidentally, race had nothing to do with me leaving that man)
My son didn’t see people as different races. He saw them as skin tones. He saw “peach” people, “beige” people. “brown” people, etc… He started seeing “race” as he got out into the world and heard all of the ignorant ideas adults threw around. The things we are teaching our children NOW, are the way of the future. Teach your children that all races need to be seperate and that’s what they will believe.
I, too, am tired of seeing the race card thrown around. I’m also tired of the injustice still being served on black people.
I agree that there is still much prejudice around. But, the way much of the black population is going about things is not the correct answer. And, unfortunately, many are teaching it to their kids.
Why not, instead, teach your kids to stand up for anyone, of any skin color, who has been dealt an injustice? Teach them that the history of America is not a pretty one and many people suffered as a result, but, pretty or not, the past is the past and we need to live in the here and now.
No decent white, peach, or beige American should be happy about the history of the African American. But, it is time to move forward and accept things. You can’t expect to be accepted until you accept yourself. You can’t expect to be included if you continue excluding yourself.
We all have the ability to create the future of America any way we choose. Seperate or together? It starts now.

What surprises me the most of all is the way she is pulling in all of the other races. For example 91 among many others saying they are Asian and wondering why we are so vocal about all if the injustice and discrmination we still face as a people.

The problem with all of the comments from Asians etc is they have shown that all along they have wanted to be caucasion. The issue here is doing what racist people from Hitler on down have done over generations,it is meant to separate the races theirfor relegate us powerless and lead us to fight agains each other. In other words to devide and conquer. This is the strategie that has been used for centuries. Just remember all you “Asians” who are defending this racist ignorant person that we are living in a time now in America when every one from your continent is being scrutinized and harassed for your religious beliefs.

If you are not able to read the writing on the wall we have had to fight because most of the other races did not find it necessary to side with us and for the most part they choose to separate and side with the minority supremist race. Remember during the reign of Hitler and all of the other white supremist they began with one race (the most obvious) and worked their way done believe me it will eventually be your turn to stop pretending you are white whether or not you relaize it.

I completely agree with her. I refuse to watch BET and I am constantly bombarded with news of reverse racism being white. Ye who speaks the loudest gets the most TV time, news time, etc. It’s old. Get over it and become an american. Not an African-American. If that is the case I am a german italian american, and you better not call me white or else I will think you are dissing my 200 year old+ heritage

Then you woud celebrate both.

And while you’re at it celebrate the cultures that aren’t specifically your own. Hispanic Heritage Month, Jewish History Month, Italian Heritage Month. Or better yet, any given day come outside of your box and read up on a culture that doesn’t specifically belong to you.

I think this country should be very proud of it’s diversity and celebrate that by highlighting each cultures contribution as much as possible.

I’m glad we have these months, or weeks or days to emphasize each contribution. It’s what makes our country a great place to live.

Can someone answer me please? What happens if you’re a mixed race? Can’t I have a month where I can rejoice all my different ethnic backgrounds? Or do I have to choose one of my heritage? Or I could go I’m Asian in March? Hispanic in September? Black in November and White all year round?

Actually, like she stated in her blog the Jews (WHITES) had a HORRENDOUS time and they are not whining poor me. White people in AMERICA actually have very poor, underpriveledged communities, yet they are not standing up blaming America, expecting retribution, and are not screaming “they dissin me cause my color aint rie.”
