Brad & Angelina in Washington DC

Brad Pitt paid a surprise visit to The Washington Post’s newsroom on Friday to research his upcoming role as an investigative reporter in State of Play, a Washington-based drama about hard-nosed journos trying to solve the murder of a young political staffer.

Brad and State of Play director Kevin Macdonald lunched with Post execs and reporters, including military affairs and Pentagon reporter Josh White and investigative reporter James Grimaldi.

Angelina Jolie was busying meeting with Colin Powell and Condoleezza Rice to discuss her recent trip to Iraq and Syria.

Maddox Jolie-Pitt’s daily trips to and from school have officially become a police matter.

When Daddy Brad arrived yesterday afternoon to pick Maddox up, NYPD had set up barriers to keep the snapperazzi and onlookers a few yards away from the front door of the Lycee Francais. When it came time to leave, the crush of peepers was so insane, Brad decided to take Maddox out a back door.

Earlier in the day, Brad brought along Pax and Zahara to take big bro to school. No word on whether the Lycee will be bringing in the Marines when Brad’s three other kids enroll.

Hey guys, do we have pics of this? So it was Brad who brought Mad to school and not some blonde lady as earlier reproted. And where are the pics of B, Z and P, bringing Mad to School?

I think B&A must have left NYC after Brad picked up Mad.

Thanks Jared for the new thread.

I love it that everyone was wondering where Angie and Brad were and they off doing their thing. I hope that Condee Rice take to heart the information that Angie is sharing with her on the Refugees in Iraq and Syria. It’s also nice that she is touching bases with Colin Powell, they work well together.

Hopefully Angie and Brad will get in some grow up time while there.

I think I am on the first page. Does this mean that they are not in California? I do love their energy and passion for goodwill work and career. I didn’t know he has a pal at the Post. So they can reminisce about old times in college. Good thing Angie was not there so 50% of the employees will not meet their deadlines. Thanks JJ.

Boy, Jared, you ARE on some kind of roll … how many Brad/Angie threads in a week? All positive news about the couple … no wonder the fanistons are losing their sheit and flinging anything and everything at them, hoping something negative would stick.
