Brad & Angelina in Washington DC
Brad Pitt paid a surprise visit to The Washington Post’s newsroom on Friday to research his upcoming role as an investigative reporter in State of Play, a Washington-based drama about hard-nosed journos trying to solve the murder of a young political staffer.
Brad and State of Play director Kevin Macdonald lunched with Post execs and reporters, including military affairs and Pentagon reporter Josh White and investigative reporter James Grimaldi.
Angelina Jolie was busying meeting with Colin Powell and Condoleezza Rice to discuss her recent trip to Iraq and Syria.

Maybe she knew she couldn’t care for you and wanted you to have a family that could. If that was the case, giving you up for adoption wasn’t abandonment, but an unselfish and loving act. I’ve met birth parents who gave up their children for adoption and they were still living with the pain 20 years later.
But secondly, and mostly, I think the internet fosters a bully/hater mentality, and you find people acting and speaking and presenting in ways they never would in real life. I suspect that most of these haters don’t even really hate, they just have an addiction to being an internet hater, and so they play the part.

Yes, but I can’t help but think this kind of bullying must seep out into their “real world”. If you spend hours thinking and typing hateful things..I would think it would infest your whole way of thinking after a while. It worries me to think of all these negative people being possibly bred online.

Sad indeed, but I honestly think that they don’t know better..it’s like these people have been kept “dumb” for some odd reason.
Not to be judgmental or anything , but the way some of them write is just heartbreaking and I assume most of them are Americans.
I’m multilingual and English is actually the third language I have studied at an older age.
Not that my English is perfect , but allot of these “haters”are illiterate..a blind man can see this.
Allot of them keep spewing things Jolie has done in the past to defame her character.. as if they don’t have the knowledge that we as humans are an imperfect species and its in our nature to sin. The key to spiritual, mental and physical maturity comes with age when life starts to unfolds itself and takes a new turn and meaning.(Makes me realize that they haven’t evolved in life)
Their perception of things is either your a sinner or a saint.. and the funny thing about this is that those who preach this are the ones being caught with their pants hanging down..LITERALLY!!
(Senator Craig & Mark Foley are just two examples) Yes we foreigners do read about American politics.
And when you try to point out to them about their approach on Pitt & Jolie personal life which gives us a glimpse of their own character and psychological state of mind .. they switch the subject to their professional lives.. their movie career and future movie releases.
Which is actually a total opposite of their own perception….Jolie is an Academy Award winning actress & Pitt’s Plan B first three production projects “Troy”, “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” and “The Departed” have banked in over 1.5 billion dollars.. yes BILLIONS not Millions.This is just a glimpse of their professional career. But again the “hater” will probably say Aniston has 110 million dollars and I just pointed out that Pitt’s making Billions.. having a discussion with them is pointless because they don’t have the mental ability to comprehend facts.
These people have so much hostility it’s terrifying.
Everything is Hate , Hate , Hate !!!
The only thing I would suggest is avoid them .. they’re not worth it!

Got up on the wrong side of the bed this morning, did you, honey? I guess with your empty, lonely bed, every side is the wrong side. I can just imagine Jenzilla being interviewed on current events: “Duh… well, um… uuh… I dunno… I mean… ’scuse me, I gotta run, I’m late for an appointment with my blow-dryer… “
I think the movie is doing well considering it is only 5 theaters. My God, some people hate Brad so much, that they would call a movie that only opened in limited release, (ultra limited) a failure? Into the Wild projections is only $30,000 more than James. James is going to be a hard sell, but Warners is smart enough not to make the same mistake like Paramount did with “Mighty Heart”. This slow release is the best to go with this “art house movie” I can’t wait to see it, but it is not showing anywhere near where I live.

It’s true that often the atrocious real life acts of people can be recognized after-the-fact by their internet writings and ramblings, but I liken these haters and blog spamming haters in general to the kind of thing that might happen to a person who gets wrapped up in a fantasy game. Dungeons and dragons or whatever. They are elves, or warriors, or furries, or….in the celebrity blogging world, they are haters and trolls! :)
I remember especially being shocked by the then 11 or 12 year olds in my son’s class (9 or 10 years ago) who the school had identified as congregating in AOL private rooms and hating on other students. In real life these kids were absolutely regular kids, but in the heady freedom of the new to them AOL private rooms, they became unrecognizable.
Whether or not it actually seeps out into real life, it sure as hell can’t be good for their soul and spirit. Life sucking, energy draining, negative energy poison, really.

Do you think you might be able to stop living in the past and get on the same page as Ms. Jolie and the rest of us? While she freely admitted that SEVEN or so years ago blood and knives interested her briefly it did not fulfil her so she looked further within herself for answers. That led to an interest in the problems of refugees in many countries.
That then led to her adopting a child which forever changed her life and caused her to GROW UP, leave childish games behind and making a life that she and her son would be proud of. Which led to the UN trusting and respecting her enough to make her an ambassador. Which then led her…well I think you get the idea. As Ms. Jolie’s accomplishments go on and on I won’t shame you with any more of the lengthy list.
Because as I see it the only thing that would make you say such hateful things about her is that in comparing your life to hers you feel ashamed at how little you have accomplished in comparison.
So why don’t you do something about your own life and shut your disrespectful mouth about hers?

I don’t know who you are cursing, this thread is for the Jolie-Pitts.
I have a different take on Brad Pitt based on his interview with Dianne Sawyer. I think Brad is a very lonely man. He wanted to get out of his relationship with Jennifer Aniston and he found a way by connecting with Angelina and her cause. I do not think he is in love with Angelina, I think he admires her but not in love. He must be in love with somebody else and probably could not be with her. Brad is getting thinner and thinner like Angelina. Brad should get out of this horrendous life. It is not for him.
