Brad & Angelina in Washington DC
Brad Pitt paid a surprise visit to The Washington Post’s newsroom on Friday to research his upcoming role as an investigative reporter in State of Play, a Washington-based drama about hard-nosed journos trying to solve the murder of a young political staffer.
Brad and State of Play director Kevin Macdonald lunched with Post execs and reporters, including military affairs and Pentagon reporter Josh White and investigative reporter James Grimaldi.
Angelina Jolie was busying meeting with Colin Powell and Condoleezza Rice to discuss her recent trip to Iraq and Syria.

Some women, yes women, act as if Brad was married to them and that he divorced them. After all this time they cannot and willnot let go of this delusional belief. They are sick sick people.
Other women search high and low for any reason whether logical or illogical to rationalize a belief that Brad does not dearly love Angelina and everything about her. They appear to be afraid to let go of this belief as if by doing so their lives will be impacted. How I do not know but this seems to be their thinking.
Brad elicits for whatever reason a belief in some women that they “own” him, that he is their “property”. That silly 16 year old in Venice said that “he looked at her therefore he wanted her to hug him”. That’s the same kind of thinking that otherwise seemingly sane adult women have about Brad. I understand from talking to older relatives that some women felt the same way about Paul Newman and the Beetles and Elvis. Brad does not do anything overt to get this reaction, he gets it because he just is.
Angelina gets the scorn and angry reactions from these crazy women because she is clearly the love of his life, and she had Shiloh, his biological child. They coud care less about the X, they were not X fans, they are Brad fanatics. Notice the Brad fanatics do not even mention the X, it’s always about Angelina. They recognize that the union of Brad and Angelina is a real love match, a melding of two lives into one. So they will continue to rail and rant over the internet as they are truly the miserable delusional among us.
Angelina and Brad could break up, which I do not seem happening as they appear more united each day, and these women would not stop their behavior toward her. She “stole” Brad’s heart and they can’t get over that. They fail to realize that love does conquer all.
And the screamers who rush to judgement and gleefully post negative AOJJ news, speak not lest you speak too soon. He who laughs last laughs the loudest.

Is America finally becoming celebrity fatigued? Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie arrived nice and early at the premiere of The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford and benevolently went directly to greet fans lined up across from the Ziegfeld Theatre. We expected a zoo — this is Brangelina, the apex of celebrity — but there were only a few fans behind the (barely necessary) barricades. So fortunately for us waiting with recorders, the autograph signing and cell-phone-picture-taking took only about five minutes, and then the golden ones were on the red carpet, beaming, smiling, and looking very much in love. We asked Angelina (who was looking lovely and remarkably un-praying-mantis-like) if her son Maddox is into cowboys and Indians. She rewarded us with a laugh, saying he wasn’t really, but “he liked his spurs when he had them.” And Maddox won’t be seeing Jesse James, she said. “It’s Daddy being really violent!” Daddy himself wasn’t feeling contemplative as he walked the carpet, instead seeming a little bored with it all. When a perky MTV producer threw him the standard softball, “What did you learn from doing this movie?” Pitt didn’t swing for it. “I didn’t learn ****, really,” he said. Jen fans are happy. She is back in the news, she has a new movie, pics of her are popping up all over the place. We have certainly moved on as Jen has. Those posting angry vile things here are not Jen fans. Jen looks great and good things are happening in her life. Getting Brad out of her life was the best thing that could ever happen for her. She will find the love of her life now, Brad clearly was not that.
Look how she smiles now, she is in a happy place in her life, she has the life she wants. Thinking about it, it would have been better for her to just have been good friends with Brad, because that is how he now says he thought about her. He does seem to love Angelina and their kids.
Just wanted to let all know here how true Jen fans feel.
Wake Up!! the Bush Administration doesn’t give a **** about Iraqi Refugees that’s why they destroyed and bombed Iraq to begin with and without regard to loss of human life and infrastructure.
It makes Bush Admin. look good to be in the press meeting with a psuedo celeb humanitarian like AJ. That way her celeb psuedo humanitarian glow can rub off on them.
AJ went to Iraq for what 2 days, that doesn’t make her an expert on the situation there by a long shot. If they administration was really serious they would meet with experts..you know people that run the refugee camps that WORK AND DO SOMETHING BESIDES POSE FOR THE CAMERAS WITH THE POOR REFUGEES.

Nice to know Jen has some classy fans such as yourself; unfortunately, most of the trolls posting on here claim to be as much her fans as you are, and they are really giving her fans a bad name. A lot of the people posting on the most recent Aniston thread are wishing she would hook up with Ben Affleck, who is married with a baby. What kind of “fan” is that? I’d be happy to see Jen find a long-term partner, then some of the more obnoxious trolls visiting this site might finally leave it alone, but her “fans” aren’t doing her any favors when they act as if they are so desperate to see her with a man, any man at all, that they don’t care whether he is available or not, as long as he is breathing and between puberty and death.

That’s a very interesting statement to make here in 2007. Especially when you have 2 very critical racial situations brewing. In case you don’t know them, they are:

These along with other nonpublicized injustice seem to put things in perspective a bit and that perspective is that when it comes to the status quo, people of color always seem to get the short end of the justice stick.
So why is it such a problem when someone is willing to go to bat for them?
I will admit, Angelina is for ALL children Not as you say just the ‘colored’ ones. It is YOU who made the diffrence and it is those same ‘colored’ children that feel that difference every day of their life as they grow into adulthood.

If this tidbit is true, Brad is being real and that is a rarity in Htown. He sees a bigger picture now of how the world really is. I am sure that if he said this CindyG’s mouth fell open, frantically thinking to herself “how am I as his publicist going to spin the truth?” LOL. Angelina has Brad’s back, he knows that, and he is now much more open that he has ever been.
I am beginning to have visions of Brad as a politician. We need plain talking truth speaking reps rather than all the lying ones we have now.

I agree in part to what you are saying except for the camera part. Angie has been doing this for years so I think she is “well informed” of the plights of refugees.
As for Condi and Bush Admin, I agree with you. I am puzzled by her visit. Unless Angie’s purpose is to lobby for or raise money for the programs she wants to implement.

They are both better off without each other. The love had died long before the marriage died. Staying in a loveless marriage is torture for both parties. But the dumper always has an easier time than the dumpee. Brad moved on to someone else immediately; X threw pity parties for the next two years. Maybe now she can move on and find someone else. But you’re right about losing her A-list status; that came and went with Brad.

It could have been a simple briefing. All three of them are on the board of the Council on Foreign Relations. Rice and Powell may have just wanted the details of Angie’s visit and her impressions. She has obviously impressed Powell and he is on record as saying he has great respect for her.
Angelina is not an intellectual lightweight; she is extremely intelligent and observant. Rice and Powell probably value her opinions and thought they were well worth hearing on this subject.
Believe it or not oh prejudiced ones, there are children of ALL colors in the NOLA school system that Brad and Angelina are putting money into, enough money to help reopen over 20 plus schools. They are helping those who are without.
Unlike liar Bush who only helps the big oil companies by going to war for oil as Alan Greenspan said this week, and is going to veto Children’s Health Insurance because Bush doesn’t care about anybody but his rich buddies and their money making ways. Forget that all children should have health insurance, sick children equal sick adults, equal a declining workforce in the future.
Try visitng NOLA and see for yourself before you come here with your KKK racist lies.

Also the goal of the Clinton intiative that Angelina will be participating in next week in NYC is to raise funds for the education of children especially refugees, around the world, and CondiR at State oversees the US refugee funds. So you want to get her on board as a supporter to help with Congress. Now as to whether Bush will veto those funds as he does not care about children at all here in the US or anywhere else is not the question here. CPowell is also good to help lobby for those funds across the world. Angelina is very very wise and knows who to meet with to help move her interests to help others forward.
