Brad & Angelina in Washington DC

This past Wednesday September 19, in Somerville MA, Scott Ritter, former UN weapon inspector accused Colin Powell of knowingly lying about the presence of WMD in Iraq. Scott claims he knows this for sure because he briefed Colin Powell before he ever gave that infamous speech to the UN. He once was an admirer of Colin Powell but now he feels that Powell’s lying about WMD, at such a pivotal stage in the run-up to the Iraqwar, made him ‘Scum” and not worthy of admiration or support, regardless of what else the man has done.

COLIN POWELL IS ONE OF THE REASONS THAT THERE WAS A IRAQ WAR AND WHY THERE ARE IRAQI REFUGEES!!!

I admire Angie and I love her for being herself but does she not understand what Powell did?

Majority of American supported Bush when he decided to attack Iraq.

Nobody is fighting, we are having a discussions. I read what you posted, you took a swipe at Hillary & moveon.org, I get their emails. Don’t agree with everything they say, but I get them. You took a swipe then want it to stop. Question, I’m asking this with respect, what has Hillary done that is so bad? I really don’t get it. Maybe I’m missing something, I’m not all knowing! Honestly, I think that Warners and Plan B (if they had any say in it) are trying to take an old school approach to releasing movies. Before multiplexes and staggered multiple showings of ‘blockbusters’, theaters would just show the movie for months and months, giving word of mouth a chance to grow. Now, it’s about getting the big score in the first weekend.

Wake Up!! the Bush Administration doesn’t give a **** about Iraqi Refugees that’s why they destroyed and bombed Iraq to begin with and without regard to loss of human life and infrastructure.

It makes Bush Admin. look good to be in the press meeting with a psuedo celeb humanitarian like AJ. That way her celeb psuedo humanitarian glow can rub off on them.

AJ went to Iraq for what 2 days, that doesn’t make her an expert on the situation there by a long shot. If they administration was really serious they would meet with experts..you know people that run the refugee camps that WORK AND DO SOMETHING BESIDES POSE FOR THE CAMERAS WITH THE POOR REFUGEES.

That two days fact finding trip she took revealed that the Syrian govt are overburdened with the caring and education of the Iraqi refugees and presently refusing to take in any more refugees, Angelina under the umbrella of The UN is trying to help raise about $500m to assist the Syrian govt in order for them to keep the refugee children in school.

Those that run the refugee camp as you put it finally had someone give voice to their issues and is trying to help them raise the money they need to keep the camps open and at the same time help get the children educated.

But I bet you did not know that, all you knew was that she was in Iraq for two days. On 25-26 sept, Clinton foundation will use this year’s annual meeting of his foundation to raise the money and the awareness to help the Iraqi refugees since nobody seems to remember them. Angelina is probably more of an expert than some of the policy makers in DC who are ignorant of the people and culture that their policies will affect.

Next time, try to get informed before you post your trite, then again, that is asking too much of you stupid trolls, why would you ever let the truth get in the way of your Angelina bashing.

In his biography “Soldier: The Life Of Colin Powell” the ex-Secretary of State said that he was “callously” used by the White House and he regrets his infamous U.N. appearance as a “blot”
on his record. He says “if I had known there were no stockpiles, I never would have said there were stockpiles”.

It is unfortunate that such a respected man (althoug Republican that he is) has lost all creditbility due to GW. He was fired because he realized it too little too late.

Still that should not discredit his contributions to refugees worldwide and our history. Isn’t the heart of UNHCR all about “second chances.”

The reason why Angie does not declare publicly for any party is because she has to work with both parties.

BRAD MUST BE REALLY PROUD OF ANGELINA, SHE GETS TO MEET PEOPLE, WHO ARE WELL RESPECTED IN THE WORLD, PEOPLE CAN HATE AND SAY EVERY BAD WORD THAT CAN BE FOUND IN THE WORD, BUT HER ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER AND SHE IS WELL RESPECTED IN THE INTERNATION COMMUNITY, NOT JUST IN HOLYWOOD.
