Brad & Angelina in Washington DC
Brad Pitt paid a surprise visit to The Washington Post’s newsroom on Friday to research his upcoming role as an investigative reporter in State of Play, a Washington-based drama about hard-nosed journos trying to solve the murder of a young political staffer.
Brad and State of Play director Kevin Macdonald lunched with Post execs and reporters, including military affairs and Pentagon reporter Josh White and investigative reporter James Grimaldi.
Angelina Jolie was busying meeting with Colin Powell and Condoleezza Rice to discuss her recent trip to Iraq and Syria.

Ohhh… I get it. Honey, just because Westerns don’t work for you, doesn’t mean they don’t work for a lot of other people. You probably prefer action/adventure movies with a lot of noise and no substance. Well, that’s okay; when I was in high school I preferred those kind of films, too. They are fun to watch and they don’t require anything in the way of thinking. Most of us here have grown beyond those movies, so you will just have to put up with us old f*arts.

Brad did do a comedy. It was called “Mr. and Mrs. Smith”, it made well over $50 million, and his co-star was Angelina Jolie. And the rest, as they say, is history.
In case you’ve forgotten, Jen hasn’t had anything to fill her coffers with for the past two years, except Smartwater revenues.
