OlderBritney’s Breakdown — Tears and Possible Jail Time
From bad… to worse.
Britney Spears broke down into tears as she entered her lawyer’s office on Friday in Los Angeles.
“She pulled up in the car, and then suddenly tears started streaming down her face,” one eyewitness tells OK!.
Brit received news from the Los Angeles City Attorney that she was charged with one count of hit-and-run causing property damage and driving without a valid license.
“According to the DMV, Ms. Spears was never issued a California license – ever,” City Attorney’s spokesman Frank Mateljan told People.
This all stems from a fender-bender in a Los Angeles parking lot on August 6 (video here).
Brit faces a maximum sentence of 6 months in jail for each of the two misdemeanors. A hearing is set for October 10 in Van Nuys Superior Court.

I hope someone is paying attention otherr than the papparazzi…this girl is a suicide waiting to happen…everyone says where is mom??….where the hell is DAD too? SOMEBODY help this girl before it is too late…
How fcuking stupid is this chick? How hard would it have been to just leave a note or have someone follow up with the order driver?
On a different note, when did it become required to have a license in each state you live in? Maybe she has a license for a different state, like Louisiana.

Are you serious? She has lawyers, so she could have easily left someone else’s number instead of her own. She has had so many chances, and there is no explanation good enough to justify leaving the scene of a car accident. EVER!!!!!!

this is such a bad website, they have no idea what they are talking about, they don’t know why she is crying, and she is NOT going to have probable jail time, when it was just a minor scrape and she was surrounded by the paps when she hit the car, and she probably didn’t even know she did damage to the other car, or realized that she was supposed to leave a note, but it will hardly be jailtime, we don’t live in a police state. what a joke, and what bad journalism, this is such a twisting of the truth, believe me, Jared has NO idea why she is crying and it is irresponsible to make a headlines like that, she may be irresponsible, but Jared is MUCH worse. besides, after viewing the videotape of her hitting the other car, the paps just took advantage of the whole thing, if they get her coffee for her, and ask her if she is ok, they may as well notify her that she should leave a note, what a bunch of dumb hypocrites, what a horrible world is the celebrity gossip columnists, jeepers.

I’m annoyed with Britney, but as wild as she’s been, I still feel for her. I can’t help it, I don’t like to see her cry because I know it’s not for show. If this is what it’s going to take to make her get her act together then good.

i posted a couple of days ago that Britney took the last straw from me on giving her more chances. After seeing the above picture of her breaking down and it literally is breaking my heart, I look at her and see that it could my daughter or if any of you are old at all on this site, perhaps your daughter. But mosst daughters have someone to turn to. Who really does Britney have anymore. Her parents seemed from the get go to take Kevins side without trying to help poor Britney. She really can’tdo anything right, it’s either this way or that. However, the paps want to spin it. She doesn’t know how to be normal, she did not grow up that way. Justin lied on Oprah the other day saying he had not talked to her in years, when documented interviews say otherwise. He is supposedly supposed to to care about her as a person. She needs help and most of all, love but by who? Who can she trust anymore. She can’t do anything without someone spying on her and reporting this and reporting that, all for money they get for their stories. Surely, someone she used to love and respect can help her. Britney it will be all OK soon. If you look at the worst is over scenario then maybe it can be. God love ya Britney
in most states if you are going to reside/live/move from one state to another and have an out of state license you have so many days/months to switch it over. Britney has lived in Cali.,for awhile now.
I notice when she hit the other persons car she asked” is my car okay”?.never checked the other persons car/as said before- no note. what was weird also was a pap asked her to sit back or stoop down or something and she was in a dress, which when bending one could look up her dress,the paps were snapping away at it,they knew they may have gotten a panty/vayjay pic. and she didnt close her legs, or put her hand up to cover the gap or anything. i can believe she calls the paps.
BRITNEY KNEW she did not have a Cali.,license and that is why she did not call the cops, when you can clearly hear a pap say something related to calling the cops.

poor brit shes a human as well everyone would do the same thing if they were going through the same things as her but noone understand her problems. I don’t get the fact that vanessa hudgens took a naked pictures of her self but everyone still supported her even her fans (which she dont deserve) but britney now that her lifes messed up because of the papparazzi shes doing things to calm herself and her fans and everyone else act like she gone mentle and they are not even supporting her.
