OlderBritney’s Breakdown — Tears and Possible Jail Time
From bad… to worse.
Britney Spears broke down into tears as she entered her lawyer’s office on Friday in Los Angeles.
“She pulled up in the car, and then suddenly tears started streaming down her face,” one eyewitness tells OK!.
Brit received news from the Los Angeles City Attorney that she was charged with one count of hit-and-run causing property damage and driving without a valid license.
“According to the DMV, Ms. Spears was never issued a California license – ever,” City Attorney’s spokesman Frank Mateljan told People.
This all stems from a fender-bender in a Los Angeles parking lot on August 6 (video here).
Brit faces a maximum sentence of 6 months in jail for each of the two misdemeanors. A hearing is set for October 10 in Van Nuys Superior Court.

Britney’s personal *PROBLEMS* started LONG before she had her second child… She married a guy for 24 hours!!!! In interviews he gave he talked about the HUGE variety of drugs and drinking she was doing…
She later did a tv interview (Diane Sawyer perhaps ?) and just giggled saying yeah,I always wanted to get married…nice example for young fans..
She needs serious intensive psychiatric help…Commitment(not the marriage kind) quickly comes to mind. She will be the next Mindy McCreedy or Anna Nicole Smith if she does not get help fast.
I feel for her kids and hope they don’t grown up as screwed up as both of their parents.
I think Britney needs to crash and burn because she really doesn’t seem to be doing anything to make a positive change in her life.
She needs to take those babies, move somewhere out of the spotlight, raise those kids, get clean and then once she has things under control consider a comeback.
Her focus is on all the wrong areas in her life. I’ve never seen any mother of two young boys (babies really) spend so much time out in the middle of the night.
She is an addict, no question. She also seems to suffer from bipolar disorder, or something similar.She needs professional help, no doubt about it. But she also needs to accept some personal responsbility for her actions.
She didn’t seem the slightest bit concerned about the other car. She made no attempt to even write down the license plate number so that she could resolve the incident at a later time.

I didn’t think that lady would charge that ******* Shitney with hit and run, but it definitely serves her right. She thinks she can do anything she wants just because somehow she became the queen of pop once. She’s not above the law. I guess this woman was hoping she would change. She is ordered by a judge to clean up her act, yet the ugly dipshit goes out and gets drunk and high most of the night. She contradicts herself by saying she just wants to be a mom, yet she’s always out without her kids, her son busted his head falling out of his high chair, where the **** was she at?! Finally, karma has bit Shitney in her ugly face! Good for her, I hope she does the 6 months.

This girl has been in self-desruct mode for years. She has fired, sent away, and alienated everybody who has tried to help her. But now it looks like its finally starting to sink in. At least I hope so because if she doesn’t get a grip and get some real help soon I doubt that she’ll make it to 30. I hate to say that but I’m afriad it’s the truth.
I only do feel for her kids.
She has got what she deserves in her hands. She has put herself in where she is now.
God, please protect her kids, firstly from their own mother.

Don’t be silly. Britney did not have to write her own name and telephone number on a note left on the car. SHE SHOULD HAVE WRITTEN HER LAWYWER’S NAME AND NUMBER. THAT’S WHY WE HAVE LAWYERS!!!!

No one is “out to get her”, Jennie… Britney is her own worst enemy. She needs a good dose of tough love. Stop making excuses for her and insist she start taking responsibility for her actions. She’s no child any more; she has two children of her own and she is an irresponsible parent. Her kids deserve better than her.

Not every woman who can get pregnant should be allowed to have children. Here is a prime example. Britney has been living in alifornia for at least 10 years now. Why does she not have a valid California license? And in all this time, noone in her camp, mom dad, brother, agent, lawyer, friend, security, assistant, husband, boyfriends, mentioned it to her. These people have more money than sense.
