These jealous cows, pigs, goats or whatever farm animal are getting seriously tedious and nausiatingly boring. They come here day-in day-out just to be obnoxious and irritating. No one(not even them) believe their pablum. Their sole purpose is to get under our skin.
I think we make the mistake in our convo with them is believing that they are capable of logical, open-minded conversations. They are not, they don’t care that what they say are lies, they don’t care if they don’t make logical sense. Just be aware that when you engage these crazies in convo that all you will get in return is crazy talk.

The opening plenary, moderated by former President Clinton, will engage a diverse group of world leaders in an action-oriented discussion of the major challenges being examined by CGI this year: global health, education, poverty alleviation, and energy and climate change. This session will explore the transformative capacity of businesses, governments, and NGOs to collaboratively develop and implement sustainable solutions. Panelists include, President of the Republic of the Philippines, Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, President and CEO of Wal-Mart Stores, Inc., H. Lee Scott Jr., Archbishop Desmond Tutu, and President of The World Bank Group, Robert B. Zoellick.

Brad Pitt will be one of the panelist on the session Energy and Climate Change, redefining business as usual.

Plenary: Promise of Education in Conflict and Post-Conflict Situations
When children receive a better education, the personal rewards are tremendous, but that is only the beginning. Society’s benefits include lower maternity rates, increased household incomes, and overall economic growth. But millions of children do not have access to basic education because they live in fragile states, refugee camps, and conflict situations, such as Darfur, Afghanistan, and Liberia. International assistance programs often struggle to provide education services because education is not considered a life-saving activity, and smaller governments are unable to solicit, receive and distribute educational assistance. This panel, moderated by New York Times columnist Nicholas Kristof, will discuss the challenges of providing education in conflict and post-conflict areas, and how one can effectively deliver education to those who need it the most. Panelists include Minister of Education for the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Mohammed Haneef Atmar, Founder of the Valentino Achak Deng Foundation, Valentino Achak Deng, Co-Chair of the Jolie-Pitt Foundation, Angelina Jolie, and President of the Republic of Colombia, Álvaro Uribe.

If you noticed, Angelina will be a panelist in the plenary session, which means she will be speaking for the main group session and not just a sub-session, or working session. Thats really remarkable, considering that only the VVIPs the likes of presidents, prime ministers, CEOs or Mds, or experts on certain fields are made to speak in the main plenary sessions.
It just proves that she is well respected on global issues/concerns.

Im also glad that she has influenced Brad and that they are so together even on their humanitarian activities. AJ is really one of a kind in Hollywood. Not even Oprah is being invited to speak to these types of global forums. Oprah donates lots of money thru her angel network, not only her own but from the other people, but she does not make her hands dirty, she only goes to South Africa where she can have the luxury and where his friend Nelson mandela protects her.

Actually, he said that Clooney and Pitt’s popularity can be both a blessing and a liability. He mentioned that while they have first choice for good scripts, they also don’t have the leeway to move as freely as he does. He mentioned that Sean Penn was his hero (who has ongoing issues with the media) and that it’s possible to live quietly. He also said that he wanted to reach their level, but not at the cost of the a$$pain press, that tries to use celebs junket interviews as a bigger attraction than the movies themselves.

Although Sachs is a hero to many, some economists view his proposals as dangerously naive. One of his strongest critics is New York University (NYU) Professor of Economics William Easterly who reproached The End of Poverty in his review for The Washington Post. Easterly’s 2006 book, White Man’s Burden, is a more thorough rebuttal of Sachs’s argument that poor countries are stuck in a “poverty trap” from which there is no escape, except by massively scaled-up foreign aid. Easterly presents statistical evidence that he says proves that many newly developed countries — indeed, most of them — attained their higher status without large amounts of foreign aid as Sachs proposes. Easterly states that “So yes, do read Sachs’s eloquent descriptions of poverty and his compelling ethical case for the rich to help the poor. Just say no to the Big Plan.”

Daniel Ben-Ami, writing on the British Internet magazine Spiked, has criticized Sachs from an opposite perspective to Easterly. Ben-Ami argued in a review of The End of Poverty that Sachs’ views represent an acceptance that underdevelopment is here to stay. He argues that despite Sachs’ “grandiose rhetoric” his goal is the long-term eradication of extreme poverty rather than the economic development and transformation of poorer societies. Ben-Ami also argued that the Sachs 2007 BBC Reith lecture embodied low horizons for the poor.

Another person to criticize Sachs is Amir Attaran, who is a scientist and lawyer and currently the Canada Research Chair in Law, Population Health and Global Development at the University of Ottawa. Sachs and Attaran have worked closely as colleagues, including to coauthor a famous study in The Lancet documenting the dearth of foreign aid money to fight HIV/AIDS in the 1990s, which led to the creation of the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria. However, Sachs and Attaran part company in their opinion of the Millennium Development Goals, and Attaran argues in a paper published in PLoS Medicine and an editorial in the New York Times that the United Nations has misled people by setting specific, but immeasurable, targets for the Millennium Development Goals (for example, to reduce maternal mortality or malaria). Sachs dismisses that view in a reply to PLoS Medicine by saying that only a handful of the Millennium Development Goals are immeasurable, but Attaran also replies citing the United Nations’ own data analysis (which the UN subsequently blocked from public access) showing that progress on a very large majority of the Millennium Development Goals is never measured.[13][14]

Don’t hate angie because she is beautiful and got it all. Beauty, wealth, family and brad. She got it all. Like she said she would rather be remembered as a good mother than a great actress. And since we’re dragging the two Peters into this unholy war, a few weeks after AMH came out, they discussed why it didn’t do well. Peter Bart thought that it should’ve been presented in festival settings instead of releasing it widely. He also theorized that the press took a misguided approach to Angelina’s works both onscreen and off, and was perturbed that wanting to do good was a bad thing, according to the press.

They also brought out a former magazine writer who is now a major player in the blogosphere because the Peters thought that the blogosphere had a hand in ‘killing’ the movie. The woman confirmed that the blogosphere is becoming a bigger player in all aspects of reporting, much to everyone’s peril, even stating that network news outlets head to the blogs in order to plot out which stories should be the priority. The woman said that the reason why she and many other people, specifically, her collegues, didn’t go was because the subject matter was too grim. Not because of Angelina’s performance, not because the film was bad, not because of tabloids, not because of the seasons, not because of ___. THE SUBJECT WAS TOO GRIM FOR THEM TO HANDLE.

There is no doubt that there will be a rerun of this episode too. And it is possible that they have video of this segment too, but I don’t go to amctv.com often enough to know.

I became fan of Angie from hackers,you know I really like JLM,They were so cute together although the movie was not that much good but I think they canbe good couple If they would be able to see each other on the right time.and after she hooked up with BBT I feel sorry for her she was looking for something special in her life and BBT used her needs to bring her with himself and just used her as sex statue,but all her actions in that times didn`t make me feel less for her she was bad girl in HW but for me she was young girl who missed her purpose in her life.and then she became UN worker I couldn`t feel more happy she at last found goal in her life and that made me happy and when she adopted Mad I was in 9 cloud but I still hoped that she dumped that dirty old man although I knew she was in love with him but I still think she was in love with him because she hasn`t have any real father statue in her life so she was looking for someone withthat statue and she found that with BBT.and when she came together with Brad my smile is from ear to ear.he is my dream man for her,she has more things in common with him than all of her exes.and I`m sure even If they can`t make it work and they split one day(which I hope not happen)he will be still the first man in her life who share more interested with her than any other man in her life.I`m like you so happy for their kids to have them as their parents.
