David Beckham’s Mad Dash
David Beckham tries to avoid photogs after picking up a few (free) duds at the Ron Herman store and makes a mad dash for his car in West Hollywood on Monday.

And when will we actually be seeing Mr. Golden Balls on the field? “Just because David says he is healthy, that does not mean he is healthy,” Los Angeles Galaxy club president Alexi Lalas has said. “When are confident he is 100 per cent, physically and mentally, at that time we will see him on the field and not before.”

i like soccer so i like soccerplayers : Ronnie, Eto’o, Henry, Rivaldo and Becks but he’s more like a moviestar now than the great soccer player he used to b; let’s not mention the fugly Miss Piggy he has for wife!

David is twice a day on the traininig ground,he trains now more than healthy players to keep himself fit,he doesn’t play because his injury takes 6 weeks and it’s 4 weeks now. And actualy David is recovering very quickly,he already works with a ball,wich is very good.
I love Becks, but its funny how he can run from a store to his car but cant run around on a soccer field, I wonder how that knee and ankle are doing
Do people read selectively? If the president says that just because David thinks he can play doesn’t mean that he can, doesn’t that indicate that Becks is ready to get back on it but the Galaxy aren’t allowing it yet?

I know theres not really much point in me explaining this as haters will hate anyway for any reason but running alone is totally different to actually playing Football/Soccer. Running actual comes quite early in the rehab process, but Football isn’t just about running, its about twisting. turning, kicking the ball, being tackled, all this stuff comes in the latter stages of rehabilitation, Becks has never faked injury in his whole career, quite the opposite infact, anyone who has followed his career down the years knows that he’s often played through injury and made it worse, anywho who suggest he’s a faker clearly doesn’t know much about him and has only jumped on the bandwagon since he moved to LA Galaxy.

In a football it’s not problem to run,it’s problem to tackle and work with a ball. He already runs for a week or something.

It looks like Lalas learned his lesson and now He doesn’t want to rush David too early being not 100% fit,good for him.
The point is that in two weeks there are 2 important England games and possiably Lalas doesn’t want to let hom go.

Ankle sprain and running, not the point. Beckham is famous for the speed, power and accuracy (including the famous bend) with which he strikes the ball. In order to do that he has to be able to plant his left foot (the one injured) with enough force to withstand the pressure. Why would we want to watch him a) risk re-injury, b) do what he’s best at poorly — we could watch anyone do that ;-) .

Biggest waste of $375 million EVAR. I don’t give a **** how ******* hot he is, I find it disgusting that he is be well overcompensated for doing JACK **** when there are people out there who do try to make a difference in the world, like firefighters and teachers, who don’t make **** for a living.
