I loved her in “The Notebook”. She has such beautiful skin. As for Eric Bana…what a beautiful, beautiful body. What I wouldn’t give to kiss that man or to just wrap my arms around him. Loved him in “Troy”…especially in the scene when he kissed his wife. His hands were so manly and strong and protective. Can you all tell I am just gaga gaga over him??!!

Rachel McAdams??? The Notebook…sucked. Wasn’t she in Pearl Harbor?….sucked. Could they not have found a more appropriate Clare? And, who is this guy?

I “love” Bana - I don´t know much about Rachel McAdams, but she looks very sweet, and a lot of people seem to think that she will be perfect as Clare. Will be interesting to see this film adaptation of TTTW!

There are other people in this post that are bad mouthing her calling her ugly and she’s a bad actress, and you’re not stalking them. All of you that say rachel mcadams is ugly and a bad actress are completely wrong. she is gorgeous and very talented. though some of her movies havent been the best movies ever (red eye, means girls, the hot chick), she is completely capable and talented at channeling her emotions and bringing them through in the chararcters she playes. i think that if she took more serious roles than it would be apparent to all of you who are obviously blind to her talent.and as far as her being ugly, you all only wish you could look as beautiful as her. she has a very classic, timeless look about her, which is why she looked so pretty in the notebook. she isn’t one of these anorexic celebrities walking around with their bones sticking out, and she isnt doing drugs, getting high, or flashing her privates. she is a respectable, talented, beautiful actress, and i think everyone will see that in the coming years. she is just starting out, but she will be ranked with julia roberts, gwenyth paltrol, and all the other high paid, talented actreeses of today. just wait and see

Please- I hate rabid fans. “You wait and see!” “You don’t know her”. God. I have seen each of her films and many of her tv appearances. I love actors mnd never comment on them unless I’ve seen a great many of their films.

Rachel can do the simple things- she’s serviceable, certainly. But in the moments when she’s had to be strong, dramatically, she’s fallen flat. There’s a difference between being strong comedically or dramatically, and being serviceable. There’s always at least one scene where the actor really has to sell it and it is during these moments that RM consistently fails. The heavy character moments in Red Eye or Wedding Crashers? Meh. She was too much in The Notebook- a role which called for drama, true, but there’s a difference between acting and performaing which, apparently, no one told her.

Mean Girls will always be her best run. I’m not saying she’s a bad actress but she lacks depth, true depth, as an actress. She’s sort of…there’s this saying about Brad Pitt: He’s a character actor in a movie star’s body. That’s true about her, too.
