Bridget Moynahan and 5-week-old son John Edward Thomas Moynahan take this week’s cover of OK! magazine, on newsstands Friday.
According to USA Today, “Moynahan, 36, split last December from her NFL beau and baby-daddy Tom Brady, 30, but he was on hand when the actress gave birth in California Aug. 22 and spent a few days with mother and son. Brady is now dating Brazilian model (and Leonardo DiCaprio ex) Gisele Bundchen, 27.”
Moynahan declined to be interviewed, so there will be no Q&A snippets. BOO!

“…he was on hand…he spent a few days…” What a load of crap. Brady went to the hospital bcz he was ordered to go by his coach, his publicist and anyone else who is “invested” in his image problems. Brady is a total ass. And frankly, I didn’t blame Bridget for letting him wait around, then telling him he was not welcome and not needed. After all. She was in labor. She delivered the baby. All he did was hang around trying to not look embarrassed.I am delighted that she named her baby a Moyhahan. Good. And I hope mother and baby get all the financial support they need and deserve from that despicable creep. The baby looks so sweet. I always liked her. I am glad & she will be a good mother.

She’s been a recent regular on the photo-gossip sites, so this magazine cover is a step up.
But it’s smart to not allow Bridget to be interviewed. Once she starts talking she’ll probably out herself as a bitter hateful woman, much like what is happening with Denise Richards and her played out press-attacks on Charlie Sheen.

4) I really liked Tom and Bridget as a couple but obviously they couldnt work things out so I hope both parties are happy.

I’m also very surprised there was no interview, why do the photo shoot and then have your friends, unnamed friends, speak for you and give generic quotes? I think that is odd.
The baby is cute. Hopefully he will grow into his looks even more. I, too, was hoping the baby would look more like his mom, although he does have her eye shape.
According to the Boston papers, Bridget was paid over $100,000 for the photos, and donated all of it to several children’s charities. Good for her! John would have been snapped by the paps anyway, and this way some money goes to good causes. Both mom and son are precious and I wish them all the best.
what is wrong with you people? Chances are she had the baby because she doesn’t believe in abortion (like you animals). Having a child is a huge responsibility - I can’t see child support payments being anyones motive to completely alter their life taking care of a baby that they resent and don’t even want. DO you even know how dumb half of you sound. Bunch of bitter bettys! That baby is cute. Not sure who he looks like but it’s nice to see how healthy he is and to see him supporting his head. She probably should’ve given an interview - it would’ve made more sense. And she should’ve went with People mag vs OK magazine. I guess she went with whoever gave her the opportunity. She is also very pretty - I think she’s more attractive than Giselle. Who did she play on sex and the city? I can’t remember. She will find a new man and she will be fine. Tom should just continue to do the right thing and be a part of his sons life.
He is a beautiful little boy and Bridget looks just great. I wish them all the very best. As for all the comments “she deliberately got pregnant”, “is after his money” etc. etc., really does anyone actually believe that rubbish. She and Tom were in a long-term relationship and she got pregnant - it happens and the man has as much responsibility as the woman in such a case! It must have been extremely difficult for her but, as far as I know, Bridget has acted with great dignity throughout this time - and all credit to her.
The pregnancy was most likely an accident but Bridget probably figured that she’s in her late 30s and her baby clock is ticking…and Brady’s got great genes…and she’s ready for motherhood so why not have the baby?
It’s an awkward situation, but it was her decision, and this is what “choice” is about.

By the way, people posing for magazine photos have no say as to which photos are published. It’s the editors’ pick. Photographers usually take dozens of pictures, then the editors choose which ones wind up in the magazine.
It’s interesting they picked one showing Bridget looking serious and serene, instead of the usual smiling “new baby” shot. The baby is too young to smile, isn’t he?
Never liked her… I believe that she saw the writing on the wall, so to speak as far as her dwindling relationship with Tom was going, and then oops- 1-month before the “offcial” break-up she turns up preggers when in all the years precious that they had been dating- everything was “fine”… give me a break! Yes, they both have to act like adults now that baby John is here, but seriously I don’t blame Brady one bit- seems as if he was set-up to me… Brig wanted marriage, family, the white picket fence, etc… Tom either (1) wasn’t ready for that huge commitment or (2) did not want to make that commitment with her! Plain and simple entrapement as far as I can see… but at least baby John is a cutie… hopefully both his “parents” can step up to the plate and act responsible when it comes to him…

The baby does looks like his biological father but he has the better hairline, thank goodness. Babies change a lot in the first few years, so hopefully he’ll look more like his mother later. That deep dark Irish look like Pierce Brosnan!

That look on her face is so beyotchy. She might have been holding a sack of potatoes for all the motherly warmth that she is exuding. Then again, I think Tom is hardly the stand-up guy he proclaims to be. That said, I do think Bridgette wanted a kid (tick, tock) and nobody, not even Tommy boy was going to stop her in her quest.

Tom and Bridget were a great couple, but they just had the wrong timing, I think. Bridget, being older and wiser, seemed like she wanted to settle down. Can’t blame her. Tom has always been a “playboy”, and definitely did not want that. Don’t get me wrong…I’m from MA and love his talent and professionalism. It’s sad that the pregnancy happened at the end of their relationship.
But I’m thrilled for Bridget. Her baby is an incredible gift, and she will eventually find a good man, who will love them both, and be a great father to baby John. I wish her the best and know she will find being a mother an amazing joy!!

I just don’t understand how anyone can take a look at that baby and not be in his life. Where are you Tom????????? What an absolute blessing a baby is and how can you have a 3 year relationship with someone and not still care for them enough to help them through a pregnancy and be there in both the mother’s and the baby’s life??? i think bridget handled things quite well…she does look a little bit sad and a bit tired in the picture. probably because of the late night crying and stuff. i have a lot of respect for her coz until now she hasn’t said anything about the situation(the breakup etc) but whatever happened in the past, i;m sure she’s going to be a terrific mom and that child will be well loved and cared for
