Angelina Jolie announces a significant $148 million initiative to help educate children in conflict areas at the Clinton Global Initiative on Wednesday in New York City — the Education Partnership for Children of Conflict.
“Education can transform the lives of children in conflict, giving them the tools to create a better future for their families and their nations,” explained Angie, who co-chairs the Education Partnership with Gene Sperling, Director of the Center for Universal Education at the Council on Foreign Relations. “This Partnership is putting words into action,” Angie explained, “and demonstrating that even in the most difficult circumstances, every child can and should have a chance to learn.”
The Education Partnership for Children of Conflict will include:
– 18 Commitments from 19 World Renowned Organizations and Individuals in 15 Countries
– Commitments to improve educational opportunities for 1+ million conflict-affected children including (1) 350,000 out-of-school children in conflict-affected regions to be given an opportunity to attend school and (2) Improve the learning environment, safety, materials and teacher quality of another 690,0000 children in conflict affected regions
– The commitments will assist 200,000 Iraqi refugee children and aid than 300,000 children affected by the Darfur genocide.

JUST BECAUSE AN ORPHAN DOESN’T COME WITH A COLORFUL AND EXCITING HISTORY DOES NOT MAKE THEM ANY LESS WORTHY OF LOVE.
BTW my brother and 2 cousins are in Iraq and 1 is in Afghanistan!! And ny hubby in th the US Airforce!!

ITA!! Angelina and Brad have said many times that they push each other to be better. Even if it’s a better pilot a better biker a better parent. They callenge each other.
And Angie has said that every challege they went through have brought them closer and closer.
They are genuinely commited into each other interests. They are each other’s biggest support system. They value each other’s opinions.
They both have their own personalities of course but they also have many other things in common. They have the same purpose in life.
Brad and Angie came into each others lifes at the greatest timing!!

yes, there are other states that needs help also, not just NOLA. however, you must bear in mind that NOLA is one of the poorest states in america and therefore needs more help. in the same vein, countries like africa, some in asia need more help than America, a country considered to be one of the richest in the world. in helping, you have to set some kind of priority, consider who badly and urgently needs your help. this is precisely why people like brad, angie, oprah and bill gates give more than what they give to their own country. consider, if americans only help themselves, who will help the people in the third world countries. i also think it is in the best interest of the american people to help other countries, to eliminate illegal migrants, terrorism and other problems.

Dear Friends BAMPZS Fans around the World,
Dorothy, my mother- in law has returned to HER HOME yesterday before noon. When we came to the hospice care her body was still very warm to touch and I believe her soul was looking on us so I told her soul she got lots of prayers from my internet friends.
We were told at the hospice care that Dorothy responded only to her favorite grandson, Lil Bradley’s dad. The staff said “she responded “Yeah ” whenever my son asked her ” Gradma can you hear me?” My son told me, Mom, grandma looked at me and said words I can’t understand”.
The day I sent my 2 boys in the hospice care, I was driving home I never use radio, no bumps… a beautiful music played ..my instance response..”Mom is that you ? Are you telling me you are thankful I sent B & K to see you there? then the music went off.
It’s a difficult time for me at this time. I wish I could take away the pain and sorrows my husband is going through ,only I’m here to support and ask Lord to help him with his grieving.
I would like to ask YOU again to please add in your prayer Little Bradley’s Dad safety travelling this coming Sunday. He never drive very far before and the very first time he will be away from his family and us but because of his temporary assigned job he has to travel out of town for 6 hrs and longer. I am now feeling very nervous as Sunday getting closer. With his grandma on his thought I’m afraid he will get lost. He was chosen to open, manage, hire and train new employees for this new 14 cinema theater. So please say a little prayer too for my son. Thank you very much.
