Maddox’s School: Stop Bothering Brad & Angelina

Angelina Jolie (looking better than ever) drops off Maddox at the Lycée Français de New York on the Upper East Side on Wednesday morning. Other pictures include Brad Pitt picking up Maddox from the school’s secret side entrance on Tuesday afternoon.

Maddox’s school, via Lycee’s director of operations Dan Cooke, recently sent out an amusing letter to parents to leave Brad & Angelina alone:

“I’m sure you are aware the school has received much media attention recently during the arrival and dismissal times because of the presence of celebrities Ms. Angelina Jolie and/or Mr. Brad Pitt. I want to make you aware that before the first day of school I met with their security team to discuss the best manner in which for them to drop off and pick up their son. Our foremost goal was to cause the least amount of disruption to the school and to ensure the security of all of our students and families.

Regretfully, I have seen some parents taking pictures, asking for autographs, talking to the media and even shouting at Ms. Jolie and Mr. Pitt for recognition. Therefore, in the best interests of the school and safety of your child(ren) I must ask for everyone to please respect the family’s privacy and discontinue these practices.”

Dang! Even the parents are star struck. Who would have thought the East Siders were like that? They have plenty of famous people & billionaires in the area, I’m sure some even send their kids to that lycee. So why are they so star struck?

They think making Angie and Brad drop Maddox off by coming through the front door the best way to cause the least amount of disruption?? I’m sorry but the school should have given this better thought, they should make special arrangements for Maddox if they are so concerned with keeping things orderly. Personlly, I think the school wanted the attention they knew they would get once people found out Maddox was attending school there. They saw what happened in Praque, they could have come up with a better idea. Maddox deserves to be able to go to and from school in peace, he is just a little kid!
As for those crowds gathering outside every day…….WTF IS WRONG WITH THOSE PEOPLE?? Don’t they have the intelligence to know their attention is unwelcome? Why not just respect the Jolie-Pitts privacy?
That’s my rant for the day,lol. I feel for them, they shouldn’t have to go through all this bu**sh*t just to take their son to school.

Actor Brad Pitt has just communicated plans to build a new community of homes in New Orleans’ Lower Ninth Ward. Announcing the new effort at today’s meeting of the Clinton Global Initiative, Pitt will be partnering with real-estate developer and philanthropist Steve Bing to create 150 low-price, sustainable homes as part of Pitt’s “Make it Right” project.

In terms of moola, Pitt pledged to match $5 million in contributions to the project, while Bing has pledged to match $5 million in contributions—that’s $10 million total in matching funds. (We did the math for you.)

“The heart and soul of New Orleans, specifically the people of the Lower 9th Ward, are paramount to this project,” said Pitt. “The words of one elderly man who is determined to return to New Orleans led to the name of our organization: he asked us, directly simply and profoundly, to help make it right. We’re going to help make it right with 150 sustainable, affordable houses—houses that stand out for their design both aesthetically and structurally, so that these people can live in beautiful safe structures that respect their spirit and provide a good quality of life.”

Notably, Make it Right is collaborating with William McDonough + Partners to develop the environmental criteria guiding the project, using Cradle-to-Cradle philosophies to design and choose materials for the new homes.

I’ve never seen so much craziness over the normal routine of taking your kid to school and picking him up. LEAVE THEM ALONE! Even the so-called fans are as bad as the media by snapping pics on their camera phones, yelling their names. It’s harassment plain and simple. Let them have some peace when out in public.

And sadly enough, I always feel people on this blog are just as guilty because while a lot of people criticize the media and the aggressive paps, they are still more than eager to see the pics they took while harassing Brad and Angelina. Isn’t fair to play both sides. A lot of the fans keep asking why the tabloids and media can’t seem to let them alone, but these people are very aware of how the fans want news/pics of them and as long as they remain in demand, it will continue.

I really feel for that family. Those children will grow up never wanting their picture snapped again! Really sad they can’t blend in with the NYC crowd and go about their normal routines.

Angie looks so good in that picture…straight back and shoulders like a model on a runway…stoic, yet very graceful and full of confidence as she struts. Love her outfit esp. the top.

I wonder if Angelina ever got the same reaction as Maddox did when she was a child being Jon Voight’s daughter? It must be deja vu for her. Maddox and his siblings are experiencing what Angelina & James experienced (a little) back in the day.
