OlderMaddox’s School: Stop Bothering Brad & Angelina
Angelina Jolie (looking better than ever) drops off Maddox at the Lycée Français de New York on the Upper East Side on Wednesday morning. Other pictures include Brad Pitt picking up Maddox from the school’s secret side entrance on Tuesday afternoon.
Maddox’s school, via Lycee’s director of operations Dan Cooke, recently sent out an amusing letter to parents to leave Brad & Angelina alone:
“I’m sure you are aware the school has received much media attention recently during the arrival and dismissal times because of the presence of celebrities Ms. Angelina Jolie and/or Mr. Brad Pitt. I want to make you aware that before the first day of school I met with their security team to discuss the best manner in which for them to drop off and pick up their son. Our foremost goal was to cause the least amount of disruption to the school and to ensure the security of all of our students and families.
Regretfully, I have seen some parents taking pictures, asking for autographs, talking to the media and even shouting at Ms. Jolie and Mr. Pitt for recognition. Therefore, in the best interests of the school and safety of your child(ren) I must ask for everyone to please respect the family’s privacy and discontinue these practices.”

Don’t link them, don’t talk about them, don’t read them. As far as we’re concerned, they don’t exist.
The question isn’t whether they have the right to bring their kids to school, the question is whether making that decision is in everyone’s best interest. I’m not calling them bad parents; obviously they aren’t. I just question the motivation for putting their son and all the other attendee’s at the school through this every day. Even sending him from the car to the classroom a couple times a week with a bodyguard or nanny might alleviate it.
But then, the people posting here wouldn’t have these pictures to drool over. What are your priorities? Being able to ogle this family like they are animals in a cage or genuinely wanting them to be happy and safe?

That’s great though.. A huge amount of money will be collected by the attendance fee alone.
As I was reading today 2.3 Billion dollars was pledged in 2005 since CGI started and 7.3 Billion dollars in 2006.
I hope they pass that mark this year ..
