Natalie Portman (in Prada) gets sandwiched between costar Jason Schwartzman and director Wes Anderson at the special screening of Hotel Chevalier at The Apple Soho Store on Tuesday in New York City.

Hotel Chevalier opens at the New York Film Festival on Friday, Sept. 28.

Oh please! She could wear a burlap sack and still be the hottest thing ever. Beauty like hers makes fashion irrelevant.

She’s gorgeous and a true original in a generation of copycats. And I thought, when I saw the first picture, that she was going for a casual sexy librarian thing- I had assumed she was wearing a pencil skirt or perhaps high-waisted slacks or something. Then I saw the bottom: total nightmare. Natalie is very hit-or-miss where fashion is concerned so this isn’t exactly unusual for her but still.

Oh well, she stills beautiful, the interview she gave at that event was charming and the short film was amazing.

Do you happen to know where she got that outfit from?? The dress may not be flattering but I am absolutely in love with the shoes. I have no idea where she got them from. Do you in your infinite wisdom happen to have the answer for me??
