Hayden Revs Rachel’s Engine
Hayden Christensen drives around town in Rachel Bilson’s hybrid Lexus on Wednesday in Los Angeles.
Okay, it might be Rachel’s car but I guess they both like to rev the same engine! Here are pictures of Hayden and Rachel IN the same Lexus hybrid from this past summer.
Check out this clip of Hayden being interviewed earlier this week at the Martha’s Vineyard International Film Festival, where he “talks film and hockey while enjoying the vibe at the Oyster Bar party.”

Hayden seems like the kind of guy who puts on what ever clothes are rumpled up on the floor closest to his bed when he gets up in the morning. I love that about him. He’s about as unpretentious as they come. He’s a typical guy who just happens to be ridiculously beautiful. Rachel on the other hand knows style. I wouldn’t be surprised if eventually she ends up picking out his clothes for him and throwing out his favorite holey shirts. He probably won’t even notice.

You’re not the brightest person on earth obviously, as Hayden Christensen was not even in Episode I. Just so you know… Do some research at least before you start bashing other people!
As to Miss Bilson, the always-in-the-media-far-too-much person: Stay to your shopping tours and choose a man who fits to your intellect better, there are surely many other empty nutshells out there. ;)
But Hayden’s just too good for her IMO, as he seems to have brains.

What it has to do with the fact that she’s shopping all the time? Well, it shows that she can’t be too bright IMO. As in all this time this girl spends with shopping she could also read a good book instead or do something USEFUL for once… and I surely don’t envy her for the money to shop, IF for something, then having had the luck to have been at the right place at the right time to meet a man like Hayden, who seems to have so much more substance than her, at least he used to have, and I hope she does not rub off on him too much…

Their publicists must have been happy when they hooked up, whether it was for real or not, but I’m not sure if this offscreen relationship will help the movie because people seem so blah about them together so it might just backfire. But it’s a sci fi movie so, yeah, who cares if the actors are together or not or have chemistry. They’ll just watch it for the special effects.

Well, I actually had nothing against her first… thought she was an improvement compared to horrible S.M. after all… but now, after observing this for a few months I’ve changed my mind about R.B., she’s definitely not the right one for Hayden. Well, he’s difficult too, I’m not closing my eyes to that fact, he’s a brooder and a loner, and just out of that reason I cannot understand what a well-read and quiet man like him is doing with a little shallow-brained shopping-mouse like R.B., and yes, I guess their faces say it all. I can’t sense any emotion towards each other there, except boredom or even worse feelings in the meanwhile.
But it’s his business, I just hope he does not ruin his life with all this, if e.g. a child should result out of this relationship, as I cannot see it lasting for the future, sorry. They just seem to have nothing in common. She might be sweet and all, but not able to stand beside a man like Hayden.
As for the opinions they were “made” to be a couple, I don’t know if studio bosses and/or producers actually would have the power to force that charade going on that long, and as “43 rec” said it won’t do much for the movie anyway, as “Jumper” is not an easy love comedy… plus Hayden seems to know very well what he does not want to do and also follow his path then, as he did e.g. not even do some promotion for “Factory Girl” although he was told to do so, but he refused. So he might not know right now about what to do career-wise actually, but what he doesn’t want to do, he surely knows, stubborn as he is. Due to that reason I cannot see
him being “forced” into an unwanted relationship. Maybe he thought different about R.B. at the beginning, and now the facade starts to crumble? And also the other way round, as I can’t imagine it being very “entertaining” to be with a man like Hayden in fact, especially if you don’t have the brains to keep yourself busy but think he will do that for you. That won’t work with him.
I agree that “Jumper” will be seen as a sci-fi-/action movie above all, and therefore I’m not so much looking forward to it. I think Hayden did best in little independent dramas and should have sticked to that…
Well, let’s see, if he is ever willing to do another movie, as right now I don’t get that impression anyway…

These days, big-budgeted movie wasn’t a sure guarantee that it would flow the cash in; even if it’s also loaded it w/ big stars. The latest of this is w/ Nicole Kidman & Daniel Craig’s The Invasion (a scifi film at that too), it looks good but then it was toppled by just some dorky newcomers w/ their film, Superbad.
And I wont be surprised actually if Jumper also suffers what have happened to Factory Girl. “Just full of hype but eventually tanks in boxoffice returns”…

Hopefuly we’ll wake up one day that HC is following now the path of Shia Le Beouf’s career. I mean, Shia just came out of nowhere and just really make it big on his own (like what happened to Disturbia). You’ll just get to hear/see him on the tabs/news mainly becoz of his films and not like doing any media hype nor been linking to his (every?!) co-star. And there’s so much “classiness on” that.
Well, Shia is quite new in the business, as Hayden was some years ago… so give him some time to make his “mistakes”… Sad LOL. I follow Hayden’s career since May 2002, and it really also looked much different at the beginning with him, and Hayden would actually be incredibly talented, just his attitude obviously sucks.
The two seem to have in common, that Mr. George Lucas was/is a mentor to both of them, so I wouldn’t say that Shia did it all by himself, you know? ;) Mr. George Lucas is a friend of Steven Spielberg etc…, so there are always connections. I think that’s just how the business works.
