Vanessa Hudgens @ Hot Hollywood Party 2007
Vanessa Hudgens (in French Connection) works the cameras at the Us Weekly Hot Hollywood Party at Hollywood hot spot Opera on Wednesday. The High School Musical star was honored as one of Us Weekly’s Power Players.
Also according to Us, Vanessa arrived quietly through a back entrance where she excitedly asked, “who else is here?” before finding fellow teen-queen Miley Cyrus. She then quietly left shortly thereafter, bypassing all media inquiries.
This is the first public appearance for Vanessa since the nude photo scandal earlier this month. She also wore shoes by Christian Louboutin.

Yeah, I don’t undersand why Jamie Lynn Spears made the list, another head scratcher was Christoper Minz-Plase (I’m sure I mangled the spelling) who played McLovin in “Superbad.” He gave what I guess could be considered the breakout performance in one of the sleeper hits of the summer (”Superbad” has made over $100 million). I am reading posts wondering “WTF!!!”. It makes no sense to me why people bother to read AND post about someone they don’t like. Just ignore them. Part of the reason we get a Vanessa update everyday is because JJ can be guaranteed that HER articles will get numerous hits. The only people that surpass her (or Zac) on this site is Brad and Angelina. Love or hate, she is a goldmine because she keeps people coming back. Maybe if you haters start to ignore her, JJ will find someone else more to your liking to post.
As far as the name calling, it’s uncalled for. You don’t know her and she has never done anything to you personally. No one says that you have to like her or that you can’t state your opinion. But viciously attacking her and those who try to defend her is crazy. the same can be said for supporters - ignore the haters, they are looking for a reaction.
Personally, I didn’t think she was a role model before her pics showed up. She was just another HSM actress. However, her actions after have made me take note. It takes a strong person to admit something that they know will cause them embarrassment and ridicule. EVERYONE will one day do something that they are not proud of (if they haven’t already). The test is whether or not you have the strength and character to face them head on like she did and accept your fate. You should just be happy your actions now and in the future will not be put on display for the world to see. Regardless, there are more important things going on in the world than dwelling on an act from Vanessa’s past.

That’s not Vanessa. This girl looks more Asian than Vanessa does. Her hair is shorter than Vanessa’s. I realize Vanessa probably wears extensions but I don’t think she could just pop them in and out that fast. She was seen just a couple hours before this with Zac, and her hair was long. Plus Vanessa would never wear that dress. It looks like the dress my great-aunt wore to my grandma’s 80th birthday party.
