Vanessa Hudgens @ Hot Hollywood Party 2007

Vanessa Hudgens (in French Connection) works the cameras at the Us Weekly Hot Hollywood Party at Hollywood hot spot Opera on Wednesday. The High School Musical star was honored as one of Us Weekly’s Power Players.

Also according to Us, Vanessa arrived quietly through a back entrance where she excitedly asked, “who else is here?” before finding fellow teen-queen Miley Cyrus. She then quietly left shortly thereafter, bypassing all media inquiries.

This is the first public appearance for Vanessa since the nude photo scandal earlier this month. She also wore shoes by Christian Louboutin.

TO #60 - why do you think vanessa is capable of being a power player.. considering the fact that HSM 1 & 2 is a huge hit, w/ a hit soundtract, a hit concert tour, a certified gold album of her own.. she’s got a huge fan base, almost all pages of teen magazine she’s there! After what she’s been through.. the scandal that happen and apologized for it, see how big is her guts to admit that its her, now she’s moving on and now getting more popular, now isn’t that enough reason!

I’m proud of vanessa, im Filipino like her. I will always be grateful for her for the contribution she made in the industry. The Philippines are proud of her.

Not a fan of the dress, but I think she’s growing up so beautiful. Obviously Zac thinks so :). I love her candor for showing face to this event. She’s a very strong girl who will make it far in Hollywood.
