Angelina’s New York Minute
Angelina Jolie picks up son Maddox at the Lycée Français de New York school on the Upper East Side of Manhattan on Monday afternoon.
Momgelina was later seen entering her hotel through the garage’s “private entrance” with her three oldest kids — Maddox, 6, Pax, 3, and Zahara, 2.
Maddox wore his usual school uniform, a white button-down and gray pants. Pax wore a cute super smiley sweatshirt. And Zahara is still wearing her nametag sticker (from pre-school, perhaps?). Princess Zee also carried around fluffy feather pens in both blue and pink!

maddox is getting so so cute! he’s gonna grow up to be quite a man, with the kind of upbringing angie’s been giving him!
I doubt Zee went out with her hair like that. You only see them standing there in the doorway not actually leaving the hotel. Like they came down to tell Mad goodbye. Angelina probably dropped Mad off and came back and got the other three ready. Took Pax and Zee to preschool and took Shiloh to see daddy.
If she did infact go to school at that point I’m sure she got her hair combed in the car. When you have to get 3 kids ready for school in the morning, hair can and is sometimes done in the car. I used to keep hair “stuff” in the car all the time. ponytails are easy and quick. When Zee entered school she probably had her two ‘Zeetails’ in place. Pink puffs and all.

#58 are you seirous? I hate to say this but you must be white. You can not or at least should not put a perm on a 2 year old. It will make her hair fall out. A fro is better than bald. Natural hair, natural period, is more healthy and beautiful! I didnt get a perm till I was 19. Plus it is not necessary either, Z has some pretty hair.
Z has that soft curly hair it is hard to get that all up in a ponytail becuase the curls stick out and her hair is probably uneven it needs to grown some more.

Angelina really carries the black very well. Very few people can pull a nice look on black. I know a lot of heavy people tend to wear black to conceal some unfortunate sites but Angelina who considered slim can carry it nicely. Those kids are simply adorable. Madd is so cool big brother. He’ll be watching Zee & Shi for all the future suitors they might have.

Ethiopians DO NOT HAVE THE SAME BLACK HAIR that you are imagining.Heck, they do not have the same hair texture as that of their neighbouring Africans..except the Somalians and Sudanese. Ethiopians are a race genetically leaning more toward the north africans(sahara desert) and arabic of the middle east.
There are at least three main races in Africa - the Bantu(largest group in central, eastern and southern africa). This race has darker to light skin complexion, wider nose and a variety in hair texture from kinky to wavy dark skinned. Again, a very varied race. Then you have the Nilotic(derived from the Nile River). I believe the Somalian and some northern/western african all fall in this race. This race is made up of light skin complexion, tall and slender people with wavy and arabic-like hair and facial structures. And lastly the Cushites(includes the Ethiopians). They are similar to the Nilotics and the arabs of the region from Alexandria to Middle East and east africa coastal areas. Cushites are slender in built(thus many have model bodies), have small and caucasian nose, big foreheads(not a bad thing!!) and very caucasian facial features.
Ethiopians NEVER NEED TO PERM/RELAX THEIR HAIR. It is already straight and perm-like…a la mixed race(black & white).
Zahara hair is wavy and curl but again not your typical curly caucasian hair…
SO NO MORE TALK ABOUT PERMING HER HAIR. SHE DOES NOT NEED TO PERM IT BECAUSE IT IS NOT THE KIND OF HAIR THAT NEED ITS.

Angelina is really looking amazing. I saw the pics and video posted on the other thread of her and Shiloh visiting Brad on set, and just wow!
Brad’s sounded really frustrated in the Parade interview. Hopefully a lot of this attention will go away in the next few months. I feel it’s already slowing down because of Britney. The Britney chronicles are good for at least a year’s worth of tabloid covers.

believe me..you know NOTHING about hair texture is AFRICA. It is so varied..you aint seen the wonders of genetic until you study this genetics of Africa.

hi piper with a low. i politely disagree with you as my opinion is, it is not only white people who have no clue as to how to deal with black hair. some black people as well have no clue how to deal with black hair. i’ve had many horrible experiences as a result of black people trying to tell me how to do my hair and what i need to put in it. they didn’t know a damn thing. i finally learned to stop listening to people and do what i felt was best. and now my hair is fine. it’s healthy and mid-back length and i perm 4 times a year.
i think sometimes it’s best to leave people alone and let them figure things out for themselves. just my opinion though.
my hope is that people will let brad and angelina do what they feel is right with Z’s hair. if b&a feel they are not up to the task or need some advice then they should seek help out.

You need to go back and do some more research. It’s RELAXING the hair, dummy. “Perm” is short for “permanent” which is a technique for making straight hair curly. RELAXING means to “relax the curl so as to make the hair straight”.
Now that you know the difference…RELAXING is NOT an option for a 2, nearly 3, year-old. The youngest age they make kits for is the 6-and-up age range. Any younger than that and someone would and should sic the law on the parents.
Speaking personally, my mother never let me or my 3 sisters have relaxers until we were well into our teens. No matter how much easier it makes combing your child’s hair - all those chemicals are just not good for a kid’s hair.

ITAWU. I can’t understand why people think that Z’s hair is nappy hair or uncombed.
As a chinese, I went through a stage of not liking my straight black hair, wanting to perm it into curls. One day, it occured to me that I was trying to change something quite unnecessary in myself. Of course, if you too much of protruding buck teeth or too big a nose like Cyrano de Bergerac’s, relative to the average in your race, so that it draws unwanted attention, then I can understand the desire to correct it. I may even be tempted to correct a nose that looks like Barbara Streisand’s though I’m glad she didn’t because it actually gave her face a lot of character and distinction.
But the truth is, my straight chinese hair was just like any other chinese woman’s straight black hair. Right smack in the middle of average. It certainly wasn’t drawing unwanted attention. Straight black chinese hair, was a normal as normal. And it doesn’t need to be permed or what ever. It just needs to be cut and it is beautiful in it’s own unique way, especially with my Chinese face and skin colour.
So it is with Z’s hair. Z seems to have hair which is entirely within average for her racial make up. Personally, I think Z has beautiful hair that frames her face like a little halo. I hope she will think of her hair as beautiful as her hair really is. When she is older, she may want to tie it up or plait it or whatever, but not because she thinks of it as nappy hair but because she likes her looks with it tied up. And if she wants to wear it lose, she can do so too. Because I genuinely think Z’s hair and the different hairs of the different races in this world are beautiful, just the way they are.

i understand your point but if you from African you will know that we African have different texture of hair.
Am a Ghanaian but our hair is different from someone from Congo, Nigeria, South African, Angola etc
Some hairs are not made to be perm why some you can perm them. Even within Ghana we have different hair texture if you perm some hair it can damage the hair and the hair will start losing.
Moreover is not good to rush and perm small children hair it can cause damage.
Perming of hair is not easy putting relaxer on our always cause pain, after applying relaxer on the scape of te hair you leave it for some minute for the hair to get relaxed and it need a lot of patient because it always hurt.
Not everyone can endure it. As for me my parent never permed my hair they waited till after my secondary education and then leave me with the choice either to perm or not but i didn’t perm my hair because i like my hair natural although i have short hair.
please stop been disturbed about Zahara hair her parent know what is best for her.

Its not easy for B&A to fight the paps, its not easy to change the laws, as long as the paps are within their jurisdiction, they can take pics. I believe B&A are working on something to change the laws on children, because they are not public property, but it will take time, there are certain procedures for every legislation to take effect. Maybe since Arnold Z is cali gov, he can do soemthing about it, or maybe not, becasue he is not that affected anyway. I dont think his children are being followed by paps.
Look, even Princess Diana, with all the Khashogi money met her tragic death because of the paps, and she wasnt even a public property, just an ex member of a royal family, a celebrity nonetheless. I mean, B&A cant do anything about it, except to just protect themselves and especially their children from the paps vultures.

I’m Black and a mother of a black young lady. I would never put a relaxer on a child’s hair especially a 2 year old. Plus most beautician’s WILL NOT put a relaxer on a 2 year old. My mother is a beautician and she said that a relaxer stripes away a layer of your hair each time it is applied; it can damage the hair. My daughter wears an alfro. Alfros are back in style. This hair style also demand care. It needs to be conditioned and moisturized. Z looks like she has fine curly hair. All she needs she needs is moisturizer and combing. She may have started off with her hair in two pony tails and pulled the bands off. She likes her hair loose which is ok. Many black females especially in the cities are beginning to get away from the relaxed look and are wearing the natural hair styles. It is better for your hair and less time consuming. Many of my friends wear short naturals. There is nothing wrong with Z’s hair. You DO NOT put rubber bands on the hair for too long it will break the hair. I raised a black daughter and most of the time her hair was in two or more pony tails with protective bands but together mothers are moving away from that. THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH Z’s HAIR. There are more black children being adopted by white parents, nothing wrong with this as long as they are made aware of their black/african heritage; which I am sure Angie and Brad will do.
NOW, you want to see a beautiful baby! Wait until Halley B has her child! Beautiful mixture of black and white.
Shi is a beautiful child love those eyes and the expression in her eyes and mouth when she is looking at something. She is really beginning to become more aware of the world outside of herself. I love this age; they are so curious. Really the ages up to 5 years are the curious age when kids are like little sponges and soak in everything. I’m an occupational therapist and work in the school district. I evaluate children that are 2 years and getting ready to turn 3 to make sure they are on schedule developmentally.
Love the Jolie-Pitts. Bet they have a great time at home. The lady that use to play on “Raymond” said on Jay Leno that she has 4 kids, and Brooke wants to have another baby (which will make 3). Julie Roberts has 3. The haters need to leave Brad and Angie along!
I didn’t know Steven S. had a biracial adopted child. I think Jane Fonda and some other celebs do too. We know about Tom and Nicoles child “Connor”. Lucky kids!

When she hands over her two young sons, Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1, to ex-husband Kevin Federline tomorrow, America can breathe a collective sigh of relief that those tots will no longer have to endure their mother’s gross incompetence.
The laundry list of poor treatment is long.
Spears reportedly abused drugs and alcohol while caring for the boys, strutted around the house naked, fed the babies gum and other sugary sweets and never bothered to brush their teeth.
Worse, she put them in constant danger on the road when, legally, she shouldn’t even have been behind the wheel.
When Sean Preston was only 4 months old, Spears peeled out of a Malibu Starbucks with the baby on her lap and one hand on the wheel.
Then there was the time she nearly dropped him in New York.
Spears has treated these two little boys like rag dolls, trotting them out in public fully knowing an aggressive paparazzi mob awaited at every turn, and then mistreating them at home with her parental feebleness.
Her mothering skills follow in the footsteps of some truly horrid celebrity parenting:
There’s “Mommie Dearest” Joan Crawford, who launched into an alcoholic rage at her adopted daughter Christina for hanging her clothes on wire hangers; Lana Turner, who dumped daughter Cheryl Crane with various nannies for months at a time before Cheryl eventually killed one of her mother’s boyfriends, and an erratic and verbally abusive Judy Garland.

Their are a number of children in the world suffering without food, shelter and clothing and should have our thoughts and support.

You are only privy to a few brief moments of their life through pictures or video of them going from one destination to another, this is hardly the sum total of their life. With 24 hours in a day ther is a lot of life that you don’t see and you shouldn’t and I’m sure that life is what makes everything worth the few brief moments of annoyance.

Zahara and the boys were coming HOME from school. Zahara had a full day — just like the day BP took her for the carriage ride and run in Sheep’s Meadow she starts out with carefully parted, combed and conditioned hair in two pigtails. I’m sure nanny worked on that. After fun with Daddy she ended up with a crown (adorable) of brown fuzz. In my opinion, that AJ/BP DIDN’T ASK FOR!!!!! they should just keep her hair cut pretty short and it will probably curl like a cute cap to her head and look very sweet!

Personally, I can’t believe that you actually believe that I, the real piper, with a low, would ever say something like that. Both Brad and Angie could have an army of nannies taking the kids to school and everything and have themselves shipping cocktail in luxury hotels and never care about anything with all the money they have . But they are so hands on and committed as parents and partners. They want their kids to have a life every kid should have. With education, adventure, and caring about the world. Nothing more and nothing less.

It’s beautiful and I have the most deadly/gorgeous locs you’ll ever come across. people always ask me on the streets who does my hair and I’m proud to say I do. There’s absolutely nothing wrong w/ nappy hair people.. nada! It’s beautiful the way God made it. One of my fondest memories of Pauline Kael was a weekend at her home in Great Barrington, Mass., just a few months before she died. Newsday critic Gene Seymour and I spent two nights catching her up on a fantastic new actress, Angelina Jolie, whom she had seen once in a Mike Newell comedy, “Pushing Tin” (1999), and been delighted with. Pauline didn’t care much for “Girl, Interrupted,” the film for which Jolie won the best supporting actress Oscar (neither did Seymour, who earned a hearty laugh by dubbing it “Snakepit 90210″), but she howled gleefully every time Jolie reduced one of the other actresses in the film to mere window dressing.
“Those poor actresses,” she said. “She’s absolutely fearless in front of a camera. This girl would scare the crap out of Jack Nicholson in ‘Cuckoo’s Nest.’” Kael’s favorite performance was Jolie as the doomed bisexual supermodel Gia in the HBO film. “My God,” she exclaimed, “this girl could play both the Brando and Maria Schneider roles in ‘Last Tango’! Where in the world did she come from?”
From where indeed? One of her earlier directors called her “an extraordinary-looking creature, like some weird, undiscovered orchid.” Never having attended college, Jolie is unencumbered by the jargon-riddled baggage that passes for modern education. The instinctual power of her work is refreshingly devoid of the anesthetizing layers that plague so much American acting. Her responses to everything are visceral and direct, a quality that has earned her a fandom that cuts across class, sex and even political lines. While other celebrities exhaust themselves trying to stay hip, Jolie, who offers no indication in her interviews that she has any knowledge or interest in popular culture, defines hip. Apparently oblivious to the mockery of a large portion of the mainstream press (such as the New York Times, which headlined a story “Can Angelina Jolie Save the World?”) and even the cheap collegiate cynicism of “Saturday Night Live,” Jolie, like the existential man whom French intellectuals used to worship, chooses her own loyalties and responsibilities without deference to conservative or liberal pieties.
She is often referred to in magazines as Hollywood royalty, but Angelina the actress isn’t really her father’s girl or anyone else’s. Like Athena, she seems to have sprung fully formed from the head of Zeus — except that her estranged father, Jon Voight, isn’t her Zeus; she inherited his talent but not his instincts. (Combine Voight with Jolie’s beautiful mother, the French Canadian Iroquois actress Marcheline Bertrand, and her uncle, Chip Taylor, the rock singer who wrote “Wild Thing,” and you might have something). Jolie is both her own Zeus and Athena, constantly re-creating herself. She may be the first great movie star ever to have no antecedents. Film critic Parker Tyler thought the pantheon of movie gods and goddesses in every era to be new versions of their predecessors; Marilyn Monroe was a reincarnation of Jean Harlow, Liz Taylor of Theda Bara, etc. But Jolie doesn’t evoke previous movie goddesses; there is a touch of her godmother, Jacqueline Bisset, who, like Angelina, was considered the most beautiful actress of her time but who was a dull screen presence compared to Jolie.
There is, perhaps, a hint of the spirit of another Hollywood brat, the young Jane Fonda, in her, though it’s difficult to picture Jolie ever settling into such a doctrinaire sociopolitical stance as Fonda’s in the late ’60s. Jolie is so independent she doesn’t even qualify as a feminist, unless the definition can be extended to a woman who loved so fiercely that she carried a vial of her husband’s blood around her neck. As for politics, Jolie’s activism hasn’t lent itself to easy answers and finger pointing but to front-line involvement (”My first job today,” she wrote in her journal about her U.N. missions, “Notes From My Travels,” “was measuring the medicine powder at the therapeutic feeding center. Under the age of five — extra nutrition. Pregnant — measured. I wanted to be careful not to measure a spoonful too short.”)
Unthinkable in almost any part played in recent years by Cameron Diaz, Halle Berry or Meg Ryan
One of the best examples of the jujitsu Jolie can do on our attitudes toward movie sexuality was her performance in the elegant thriller “Original Sin,” released in 2001. Instantly dismissed by critics — the fate of almost any film done in an odd style by an unknown director — “Original Sin” deserves a second look, particularly for the performances of Jolie and the sweetly reticent Antonio Banderas. Directed by Michael Cristofer, the playwright (”Shadow Box”) who had previously directed Jolie in “Gia,” “Original Sin” is a wonderful piece of stylish trash (”I loved it,” Kael wrote on the envelope when she returned the copy I loaned her) made from the noir mystery “Waltz Into Darkness,” by the cult favorite Cornell Woolrich (best known as the author of the story that became Hitchcock’s “Rear Window”). “Waltz Into Darkness” had been filmed before, most notably by François Truffaut in 1969 under the title “Mississippi Mermaid,” starring Jean-Paul Belmondo and Catherine Deneuve. Woolrich’s novel, set in late 19th century New Orleans, is about a widower who takes a chance on a mail-order bride who turns out to be an enigmatic adventuress — like all men in these kinds of stories, he is pulled into a web of deceit and murder.
Cristofer relocates the story to late 19th century Havana (actually shot in Mexico), probably to take advantage of the location and also to accommodate Banderas’ accent. Retooling the script around his female star, Cristofer retains its lurid pulp quality but turns the femme fatale theme on its head by letting Jolie’s character dominate the plot midway through the film. She stops being the victim or fantasy figure associated with the genre and becomes the protagonist. Jolie is terrific playing a character for which there is almost no movie precedent (the great Deneuve, in Truffaut’s version, played the role as the classic shallow man-trap). She is a woman who has suffered through every form of degradation, committed the grossest of crimes, and still believes in the possibilities of dignity and love. (In one remarkable scene, facing gang rape from vengeful gamblers whom she has cheated, she glares at her attackers as if to deny them, at least, the pleasure of seeing her suffer.)
“Original Sin” is often scary stuff, particularly in scenes that look as if they were intended to reflect the dark corners of Jolie’s psyche. For instance, a scene in which she bonds with a lover performing a ritual with knives, a practice Jolie had often discussed in interviews. And in a sly joke, concealed from all but those who happen to catch it in the credits, the character of Satan in a stage production who is also her lover is played by her brother, James Haven. It’s as if Jolie was giving the finger to a press that foamed at the mouth when she told the world how much she loved her brother after winning the Oscar.
If “Original Sin” had been a thriller in the traditional mode, it might have been a success, but critics and audiences alike were jolted by its weirder aspects and by the ways in which it subverted the noir themes — in other words, for probably the precise reasons that Jolie was drawn to the material in the first place.
It isn’t so much that most of her other movies have been bad as the way in which they are bad. The writing in American movies has never been more abysmal, the characters not really written but sketched into what is always an action or sex comedy framework. (Nearly all Hollywood films are action movies or sex comedies; “Mr. and Mrs. Smith” tries to up the ante by splicing the genres.) Real actors must essentially do the work that screenwriters used to do and create their own characters from whole cloth. (Mike Newell, who directed one of her best roles in “Pushing Tin,” conceded, “There really wasn’t much there on the page for her character. She filled in the blanks.”) Jolie has done this in a long series of films that are notable mostly for her performances, movies that you might not see at all if you didn’t stumble on them while perusing the vast left field of cable TV. The combination of the young Jolie and Joyce Carol Oates’ unsparing novel about a high school girl gang should have produced a film that made her the James Dean of the ’90s. If the rest of “Foxfire” (1996) has been as tough as her portrayal of “Legs” Sadovsky it would have, but the script’s touchy-feely mode was at odds with Oates’ and Jolie’s edges. Her best role and her best performance before “Gia” was in “George Wallace,” John Frankenheimer’s fine, too-little-seen television biography of the Alabama governor, in which Jolie played a status-hungry Southern girl forced into maturity when her husband is paralyzed by an assassin’s bullet.
It’s intriguing to think what directions Jolie’s career might have gone in had she hooked up with a strong director like Frankenheimer at an earlier age. Meanwhile, we’re left to wonder why Hollywood’s best directors don’t get off their asses and build projects around the movies’ most exciting actress. Can’t Martin Scorsese see that Jolie’s energy is precisely the cure for the slack in his recent work? (Jolie would have ignited the role of Jenny, the pickpocket, in “Gangs of New York,” but she would have looked as if she could have eaten Leonardo DiCaprio alive. Imagine if she had been paired off with Daniel Day-Lewis’ Bill the Butcher!) What’s wrong with Quentin Tarantino? Can’t he see that his work is now feeding off of itself and that what he needs to recharge is a dynamo like Jolie?
This woman has much to tell us about our fantasies, fears and aspirations. But she can’t do it through the medium of supermarket tabloids. Are America’s best male filmmakers afraid, perhaps, that Angelina Jolie unleashed would threaten their status as auteurs? Because she would, you know.

Over the weekend Jennifer Aniston and Orlando Bloom were photographed on vacay in Mexico together sparking rumors that these two were bumping moustaches.
The two were there together for the wedding of their manager and are not getting it on.
Natalie Portman, Laura Linney and Kate Bosworth were also there.
Jen’s spokeswhore said, “They were both in Mexico along with many others to attend a wedding of a friend who works at the management company where … [they] are represented!”
Well, that clears that up! You know I didn’t mind these two. Both are fighting the hot big time and maybe their union would help to bring out their inner beauty. Probably not though.

Now that Orlando Bloom has finally lost the hotness-sapping but work-required bushy mustache that has been wilting on his upper lip for months, is he reaping the rewards of being fuzz-free?
Over the weekend, paparazzi snapped the flirtatious former elf strolling shirtless in proximity to an itty-bitty string bikini-clad Jennifer Aniston at a Mexican resort, a random close encounter that immediately — and inevitably — sent the rumor mill into overdrive.
Sure, the blurry shots show little more than the single stars soaking up harmful UV rays in the same general patio area, but that was enough to touch off talk of an A-list hookup.
Alas, it looks like there’s no need to christen Jen, 38, and Orlando, 30, with an annoying nickname (Blaniston? Jorlando?) anytime soon.
“This is 100 percent not true,” Bloom’s spokeswoman pooh-poohs to MSN Entertainment of the love connection chatter.
According to the rep, the pretty pair was south of the border with their shared manager, Aleen Keshishian, to witness a vow-swap, a story confirmed by Aniston’s mouthpiece.
“They were both in Mexico along with many others to attend a wedding of a friend who works at the management company where … [they] are represented,” he tells us.
The “many others” on hand for the destination nuptials reportedly included Natalie Portman, Laura Linney, Zoe Saldana and Orlando’s repeat ex, Kate Bosworth.
Of course, this isn’t the first time Aniston, who was last seen in the company of British model Paul Sculfor, has been linked to the lately field-playing Bloom.
You’ll recall that back in April, In Touch claimed they enjoyed what was clinically described as an “exploratory date” with mutual friends.
“They were with other people,” a spy told the mag at the time. “But they were deep in conversation all night.”
Jen’s spokesman dismissed the tête-à-tête as strictly professional.

Angelina Jolie, even the name has a certain rhythm to it. Love or hate her, you cannot be indifferent about her. To say she is a goddess is stating the obvious.
Has there ever been a more talked about woman since Princess Diana?
It is hard to believe that she only just turned 32, she has achieved in those years what most people will never achieve if they lived to be 100years. There is no question that Angelina is a trailblazer, always a leader and never a follower. What sets her apart from her imitators is that she is authentic, unlike the public relations manufactured images, she is not afraid to speak and live honestly.
The media has created an image of an Angelina that bears no resemblance to who she is, the tabloids especially have turned her life into a soap opera and creating drama where none exists. The tabloids have been especially vicious in their relentless attack on this woman. I ask myself why? What is it about this woman that so threaten other women. As one columnist so succinctly put it, “Angelina does not make us feel good about ourself.” This is a woman who at the age of 26 adopted a child while most of her peers have been parroting to the media about wanting to be a mother, Jolie doesn’t just talk the talk, she walks the walk. Yes adoption has been going on long before she adopted, but she made it cool and acceptable. She has immersed herself in her humanitarian work, earning her kudos and respect from the experts in the field, she donates one third of her income to so many different charitable organizations around the world. Not only does she give money, she gives her time and her heart. She is a pilot, how many actresses can claim that?
Most insecure, self absorbed people cannot relate to her because she is not a train wreck. People can look at the train wrecks that are Lindsay Lohan and Britney Spears and feel sorry for them and happily say to themselves,’Thank God my life is not that bad, thank God I am a better mother”, but that cannot be said about Jolie. She is a wonderful mother, a wonderful and loving partner, daughter and sister.
It is amusing how the media tries to force down our throat their version of Angelina- the man eater, this is interesting considering that her life has been so public and she has only been associated with so few men, two of whom she married. The media tries to portray an image of a cold and controlling woman, but yet again the facts do not bear that out. Everybody that has ever met her always say how sweet and down to earth she is, even Brad Pitt, poor man, did not know what hit him when he met her because the Angelina he met was the real Angelina and not the version created by the media. Her ex husbands still think the world of her and have the most positive things to say about her, unlike the eternal victim(Jennifer Anniston)who proclaimed that she and her ex husband were parting as friends until she realized that playing the victim and stabbing him on the back will be her best career move, and knowing that they are so many insecure women who do not have a discerning mind and cannot think for themselves.
Angelina is that rare actress that is taken serious both in Hollywood and Washington DC. The media try to create a caricature of her authentic self in an effort assure their readers that one person cannot have it all. At this point, she and Brad Pitt have baffled the tabloid and fiction writers who proclaimed that this union will not last more than six months, here they are going into their third year with four children and more being planned for. To read some of the blogs with the bitter women claiming they are over Brangelina, and yet everywhere they show up, the crowd swell, applauding them. Maybe the tabloids need to get with the program that more people want this couple to succeed. We are constantly told she was a wild child or all the crazy stuff she did seven to ten years ago with her ex husband, funny nobody says anything about BBT’s behavior from back then considering that he was old enough to be her father. Drew Barrymore was a wild child doing drugs and clubbing at the tender age of 10, and let us not forget about Johnny Depp trashing hotel rooms, but of course they are not Angelina Jolie and there is always one rule for her and a different one for everyone else.
Angelina is an enigmatic figure, very intelligent, very passionate and highly opinionated, I can’t say I blame Brad for falling in love with this gem of a woman. Her beauty shines from within. The tabloids have been throwing everything they can at her right now, hoping that they can break her, but my gut feeling is that seeing what she has seen in the refugee camps and the war torn countries she has visited, she has a better perspective in life, she is able to see the bigger picture and that is why her detractors will never get to her because she is on a much higher plane. I have a feeling that we will still be talking about this woman 50 years from now, long after the pity party has ended and the fake girl next door has been exposed for the fraud that she is. In the mean time, Angelina will continue to live her life with such poise, class and dignity. Staying cool and level headed in the midst of the madness, she is one cool, classy babe.
She has inspired people the world over by choosing a purpose driven life over a narcissistic and self absorbed one, her critics could learn a thing or two about making the world a little better instead of polluting it with their nastiness and ugly behavior

You know two things that crack me up about the MAMS premiere video. One that guy non stop screaming ‘Angelina I love you’..I doubt that he had any voice the next day. The other one is when Brad finishes signing autographs he turns around and sees Angie and says ‘Hey’ makes a wild dash towards her but one of the producers stop him and says ‘hold on’ and turns them around to have apicture taken. Gawd, please forgive me. When you are doing something you shouldn’t be doing, going on line before the sun sets, and your eyes are blurry, you make a fool of yourself. I submit that this morning I fell into the made a fool of herself category. I so totally misread your comments. I was rush reading and thought you said Peaches. I just flagged your comment and hope it is removed. We are clearly having a celebration of this couple today and you just dumped your garbage on us all for the specific purpose of bringing us down.
Your interpretation of that video is very different from the rest of us. We saw Brad protecting Angie by stepping in front of her to protect her from paps intrusion. WE saw him taking his child quickly into the trailer so she wouldn’t be frightened by them as she often is.
We are having a party here today and your kind of crap is not welcome.
