Angelina’s New York Minute
Angelina Jolie picks up son Maddox at the Lycée Français de New York school on the Upper East Side of Manhattan on Monday afternoon.
Momgelina was later seen entering her hotel through the garage’s “private entrance” with her three oldest kids — Maddox, 6, Pax, 3, and Zahara, 2.
Maddox wore his usual school uniform, a white button-down and gray pants. Pax wore a cute super smiley sweatshirt. And Zahara is still wearing her nametag sticker (from pre-school, perhaps?). Princess Zee also carried around fluffy feather pens in both blue and pink!

Perm are damaging to hair. They are especially damaging to children’s hair, and no parent in their right mind, white or black, would put chemicals on a two year old’s hair.
Z is a lovely, precious child. And, thank God, she is NOT your daughter. Her parents are able to appreciate her for who she is. They don’t care if you can’t. That’s your problem, not theirs.

These kids are toooo cute!
As for the comments on Z’s hair. I’m black w/ the most brittle black hair you’ll ever come across. It’s beautiful and I have the most deadly/gorgeous locs you’ll ever come across. people always ask me on the streets who does my hair and I’m proud to say I do. There’s absolutely nothing wrong w/ nappy hair people.. nada! It’s beautiful the way God made it.

hi piper with a low. i politely disagree with you as my opinion is, it is not only white people who have no clue as to how to deal with black hair. some black people as well have no clue how to deal with black hair. i’ve had many horrible experiences as a result of black people trying to tell me how to do my hair and what i need to put in it. they didn’t know a damn thing. i finally learned to stop listening to people and do what i felt was best. and now my hair is fine. it’s healthy and mid-back length and i perm 4 times a year.
i think sometimes it’s best to leave people alone and let them figure things out for themselves. just my opinion though.
my hope is that people will let brad and angelina do what they feel is right with Z’s hair. if b&a feel they are not up to the task or need some advice then they should seek help out.

Are you insane? You obviously don’t have and never have been around little kids. No way is a two year old going to sit still to have her hair rolled on perm rods. Not to mention way to young to be exposed to chemicals like that.
Why can’t she wear an afro and let her hair do it’s own thing? Good on Angelina to let her be herself instead of trying to torture her hair into a “white style.” She’s from Ethopia and proud of it.

Brad is worth of everything. With Brad, Angie’s children have a great loving father. with Brad, Angie adopted 2 more children. With Brad, Angie has their beautiful biological daughter. With Brad, Angie built a health stable family. Angie doesn’t care what other say about her or what media say about her. Family and children are most important thing for Angie. Their children are so happy and they love their parents so much and their parents love them dearly too. They have a big happy family. Brad is worth of everything.

Yes I do have friends of African descent and they PERM their hair.I still took the time 2night to look up perming your hair. It would be a solution for Z.

You need to go back and do some more research. It’s RELAXING the hair, dummy. “Perm” is short for “permanent” which is a technique for making straight hair curly. RELAXING means to “relax the curl so as to make the hair straight”.
Now that you know the difference…RELAXING is NOT an option for a 2, nearly 3, year-old. The youngest age they make kits for is the 6-and-up age range. Any younger than that and someone would and should sic the law on the parents.
Speaking personally, my mother never let me or my 3 sisters have relaxers until we were well into our teens. No matter how much easier it makes combing your child’s hair - all those chemicals are just not good for a kid’s hair.
