That is just unacceptable!
As she proved with her disrespectful and half-assed performance at the VMAs, Britney does not care about her fans. Yet her hardcore fans are buying multiple copies of her single and gifting it to their friends.
Like a Los Angeles court said, Britney is a frequent and habitual user of drugs and buying her song is just feeding her addictions. Her fans are not “supporting” her now in their time of need. They are being enablers. And that’s not what Britney needs.

New York, ‘American Idol’ judge Simon Cowell has no sympathy for troubled singer Britney Spears and says singers’ recent breakdowns and stints in rehab are ‘fashionable’ and ‘indulgence’.

I can empathize with some “true fans” that love Brit no matter what she did or might continue to do because they truely are blinded by infatuation. Please don’t get me wrong, I’m in no way bashing anyone for idolizing her…you’re entitled to your opinion. BUT I just have to say this. I’m taking a course on mental illness and from what I’ve studied and learned so far is that this woman needs to seriously get into some kind of treatment. Judging from her behaviors there is no way she is fine now. It seems like she is trying to fool people into thinking she is okay. As much as I don’t like confrontations I HAVE to say to brit fans that you really are NOT helping this woman. If anything it seems like you don’t care because it’s like you’re turning a blind eye. Support HER first…then her career. That being said, I WILL NOT buy her album no matter how good or bad because I will not support her career until she gets the professional help she needs.

Britney, britney, britney. While I briefly thought “Gimme More” was actually going to be your comeback until the VMA’s, there’s no hope for you. This song is a complete clitche of everything else that we get tired of listening to and makes you come off more conceded than we thought you were. I’m not really disappointed, since I didn’t expect much, but it’s still pretty sad. Get your life back together before trying to have a comeback. Same goes to Lindsay (but she actually has talent, so I think it’s going to happen for her).

Her lyrics is not good… Always talking about her and the crazy paparazzi world she lives in… I don’t care how she lives in it. I use to love her songs when she talked about relationships… “Sometimes”, “Hit Me Baby one More Time”, “Everytime” or something like that.. it’s been ages… She needs to go back and sing more love songs instead of these stupid life she has… So no, I’m not going to buy her album…

love this song, it’s a new type of music wherein britney expands herself and try a new melodic and genra of music. i love this because it talks about her life at present time, im wishing britney the best and hope she will be back soon. i can’t wait for her new album.

I love it, the song sounds like it’ll be great, which it will be, cuz it’s a brit song and all of her songs are great. i love gimme more too it’s an awesome song and she looked so hot at the vma’s, i can’t wait for the gimme more music video to come out, i’m sure that’ll be great too. i can’t wait for the album to come out either, i can’t wait to blast it in my car and at home. love ya brit i’ll always will be a big fan of urs.
