People can’t get enough of Jennifer Aniston!
The former Friends star is the top cover star, according to Forbes‘ first-ever analysis of the top-selling celebrity faces. Her face has collectively sold more than 5 million copies. Here’s who rounded out the top 10?

3) Scarlett Johansson
4) Angelina Jolie
5) Reese Witherspoon
6) Katie Holmes
7) Carrie Underwood
8) Jennifer Hudson [tie]
8) Valerie Bertinelli [tie]
10) Kelly Ripa
Think their analysis is hokey? Check out their formula: “We looked at the newsstand sales of the six leading celebrity weeklies– People, Star, US Weekly, In Touch Weekly, Life & Style and OK!–over a six-month period ending June 30, as supplied by the Audit Bureau of Circulations. We eliminated all non-celebrity and collage covers as well as special issues with exceptionally large rate bases. Then we counted how many more–or less–issues the celebrity’s cover sold, as compared with the magazine’s average newsstand sales. Next, we factored in the number of full covers a celebrity graced. Finally, we ranked his or her consumer appeal using data from Encino, Calif.-based polling firm E-Poll Market Research to rule out flukes.”
The biggest disappointment at the newsstand? Britney Spears with an abnormally low appeal score of 3. The only one who scored worse? Paris Hilton, who scored a 2.

Aniston earned the top spot thanks to strong performances across the board. In addition to garnering a high appeal score of 36, making her the second-most-liked cover subject behind Sandra Bullock, she proved a success at the newsstand. Appearing on every title except In Touch at least once during the time period, her face collectively sold more than 5 million copies.

She is not as beautiful as Angelina or many many others. But she has something that public responds to in a big way. Please don’t say it is all because of Mr. Huvane, because you know and I know that he couldn’t possibly get this kind of results in every major poll.

Chiniston sells mags because she constantly tries to be in the tabloids. First, constantly play the “jilted woman”, second, get your nose and whatever else needs to be done (there are so many imperfections….where to start?). Next she will try to enter rehab or not wear underwear!
It would be nice that this popularity contest wouldn’t involve trashing so badly with someone’s children (the JPs, britney’s, etc.)
The tabloids keep the bermuda triangle alive, it would be interesting to know ho many of these covers say something negative? I think most of these covers are “yellow press”, so it is not so great to be in the first places in mostly tabloid mags, unless you love it, like Lindsay Lohan who once said that it would be weird not to be in them or something like that.
I like the BAMPZS and I do not like them to be in this list, they are popular, but hopefully they will be left in peace for the sake of the kids

Faring far worse: Brad and Angie covers, of which there were nine, would have placed 26th. The couple, commonly dubbed Brangelina, had mixed results at the newsstands, earning a disappointing 44th in the cover sales category.”

Pitty party has stopped long ago. It is not because of that, but there is something else about her that gets people all fuzzied up ang gravitate towards her. Could it be that may be like Brad Pitt says she is the most genuine and warmest person, or as Vince said that she had this magic Elvis touch, or as Jake G. put it..everybody loves Jennifer?

It certainly is an eye opener. I read it. I’m very pleased for Brad, Angelina and Jennifer.
She does not court publicity like many other stars do. She tries to live a private life. Just because she wears two piece swimming suits on her vacations is not couting paps. She has the figure for it. Why wouldn’t she? She is 38. She is not dead. She is entitled to happiness. Leave her alone. Brad and Angelina are very happy. They have each other. Love them. Celebrate them, but leave Jennifer alone.
