I don’t think the analysis is good. According to Forbes, Witherspoon and Underwood have only had 1 or 2 covers. Forbes doesn’t say Aniston’s numbers but it can’t be much since they say she’s been on at least one each except for In Touch. Whereas people like Britney, Brad and Angelina are on covers everyweek with the same story. Of course people with so few cover stories would outsell people who are always on the cover. I hardly call Kelly Ripa and Jennifer Hudson tabloid queens but are just likable and have 1 or 2 covers.

ITA. Forbes survey is totally stupid. In their study Angelina has 17 covers, Britney 18 covers, and Ansiton ahs 6 covers. Of course, the more covers one has, its likely the average tabloid sales diminishes, its like you dont eat hamburger everyday, you vary. Aniston may have 2-3 best selling covers, but if she would be in the cover week after week like Britney and Angelina, im sure her cover sales would go down, precisely tahts why the tabs dont do that. They know they get consistent good sales if they put Angelina or even Britney. And Britney only gets to be in the cover because of her scandals.

THe most idiotic thing is how can they say celeb like Scarlet, Carrie, Jennifer H, or kelly Ripa tabloid bestsellers, when they only grace the cover one or twice. In terms of per tabloid mag sales, maybe its high, but its like just one time. If they sell well, the tabs would put them on the cover all the time, too.

And why would forbes factor the e-consumer poll thing? what does it got to do with tabloid sales? The fact that Britney covers for instance sells, should not be discounted by the fact that her likeability appeal is low beacause of her recent bad behaviour, the numbers should speak for itself.

To me, the reason why Forbes had to factor - e-consumer appeal thing is because they can manipulate the results, and also because they probably needed a sponsor to fund the study.

I thing the best way to calculate who sell the most tabloid mag is plain common sense,

No of covers x sales per cover for the period under study, say for instance:

Angelina - 17 covers x ave sales of 800,000 = 13.6m

Britney - 18 covers x ave sales of 600,000 = 10.8m

jennifer A - 6 covers x ave sales of 1 m = 6 m (according to Forbes her total sales is 5 m plus so its close)

If really the tabs knows that Aniston can consistently deliver 1 m plus per cover, then they put her in their cover week after week, not angelina or Britney. Im sure they know she wont, thats why they bet on the more consistent sales number of Angelina or Britney cover.

I think the person who conducted this poll is a die hard Chin Aniston FAn. No miss. Is it true? You are asking me? Yes. It’s true.because why? Almost everyday I go to newstand to buy a newspaper! Where do you see Chin Aniston’s face on the mag cover? Maybe, in the trash bin. OMG. Britney Spears, yes. Brad and Angelina, second. But to put Chin Aniston on top. Love her! I don’t know why people who love Angelina and Brad are so rude with regards to Jennifer Aniston. She stays above the fray with regards to the whole media hype, as do Brad and Angelina, so leave her alone. She is beautiful, successful, and living her own life. Stop being such haters.
