The former Friends star is the top cover star, according to Forbes‘ first-ever analysis of the top-selling celebrity faces. Her face has collectively sold more than 5 million copies. Here’s who rounded out the top 10?

4) Angelina Jolie
5) Reese Witherspoon
6) Katie Holmes
7) Carrie Underwood
8) Jennifer Hudson [tie]

Think their analysis is hokey? Check out their formula: “We looked at the newsstand sales of the six leading celebrity weeklies– People, Star, US Weekly, In Touch Weekly, Life & Style and OK!–over a six-month period ending June 30, as supplied by the Audit Bureau of Circulations. We eliminated all non-celebrity and collage covers as well as special issues with exceptionally large rate bases. Then we counted how many more–or less–issues the celebrity’s cover sold, as compared with the magazine’s average newsstand sales. Next, we factored in the number of full covers a celebrity graced. Finally, we ranked his or her consumer appeal using data from Encino, Calif.-based polling firm E-Poll Market Research to rule out flukes.”
The biggest disappointment at the newsstand? Britney Spears with an abnormally low appeal score of 3. The only one who scored worse? Paris Hilton, who scored a 2.

Forget Aniston for one second atleast we see her on tabloids occasionally who are the rest of the people on the list? Is Forbes really serious,,, when we have tabloid wednesday I have never seen any of those people listed in the top 10 apart from of course the usual 3 people that we all know. Unless they are talkiong about foreign publications this is a rediculously flawed study.

Why does everyeone keep saying that she wants everyone pity? Maybe she did when she broke up with Brad - but that was a few years ago now? Am I the only one who realizes that and has moved on? It seems that a lot of people who post here keep bringing up with Angelina/Jennifer saga. Why is everyone so stuck on the past? Jennifer doesnt seem to and neither do Brad and Angie.
I dotn see her flaunting herself in public, I dont see her wanting pity in her interviews, all I see is an attractive woman in her late 30’s living her life, dating and being quite normal.
Why cant we just be happy for her and move on? Are you all so in need of a life that you cant or are unable to do this?

Pitty party has stopped long ago. It is not because of that, but there is something else about her that gets people all fuzzied up ang gravitate towards her. Could it be that may be like Brad Pitt says she is the most genuine and warmest person, or as Vince said that she had this magic Elvis touch, or as Jake G. put it..everybody loves Jennifer?

I’m surprised Maddox wasn’t number 1 !! Especially the way those Jolie/Pitt kids are pranced around for the media to feed off of. Jen’s hot though….. guess it proves that people like her and are interested in her whether or not she has a man or a kid! Some people use their children as pawns, others don’t need to stoop that low. Jen is happy and single and everyone still wants to read about her. Classic sweetheart. Not even the fang fans can take that away :-)

This is really weird. So Jennifer Aniston is the tabloid queen. Maybe it’s because they don’t show her every flipping week. If they did, the numbers would go down. Also Brad is rarely on the cover by himself and if he was voted second that validates my theory. It also helps that when Jen is on the cover it’s a feel good story. Like “Jen has found love at last or a baby at last.” Quite a difference from the dire headlines about Angelina’s weight or her throwing a fit somewhere. Anyhoo congrats. Now maybe Jens’ face will be plastered all over to help newstand sales.
