The former Friends star is the top cover star, according to Forbes‘ first-ever analysis of the top-selling celebrity faces. Her face has collectively sold more than 5 million copies. Here’s who rounded out the top 10?
2) Brad Pitt
3) Scarlett Johansson
4) Angelina Jolie
5) Reese Witherspoon
6) Katie Holmes
7) Carrie Underwood
8) Jennifer Hudson [tie]
8) Valerie Bertinelli [tie]
10) Kelly Ripa
Think their analysis is hokey? Check out their formula: “We looked at the newsstand sales of the six leading celebrity weeklies– People, Star, US Weekly, In Touch Weekly, Life & Style and OK!–over a six-month period ending June 30, as supplied by the Audit Bureau of Circulations. We eliminated all non-celebrity and collage covers as well as special issues with exceptionally large rate bases. Then we counted how many more–or less–issues the celebrity’s cover sold, as compared with the magazine’s average newsstand sales. Next, we factored in the number of full covers a celebrity graced. Finally, we ranked his or her consumer appeal using data from Encino, Calif.-based polling firm E-Poll Market Research to rule out flukes.”
The biggest disappointment at the newsstand? Britney Spears with an abnormally low appeal score of 3. The only one who scored worse? Paris Hilton, who scored a 2.

I think the main reason for the interest in her is that people feel sorry for her. I also think that she would rather that a guy stays with her than saying nice things about her and then leaving.

The REAL truth why angie covers on the tabloids don’t sell well and even with brad & her together because who in the right mind would buy a tabbies w/ the captions like” they are breaking up”, ” it’s over”,” angie dump brad”, “brad left angie and the kids”, ” brad took shiloh with him””double twisted life”, angie hate shiloh”,” the fight is on”” brad& shiloh meets jen”,” brad still inlove with jen”, “angie was pissed over brad calling jen”, ” angie has a serious deadly desease”, ” angie is wasting away”, ” brad moved to a bachelor pad”, ” angie is flirting w/ another man” and all the stupidly captions w/ idiotic explanations inside. Most people are rooting for them to make it , the fact tht they are living their life as family and both are very active on the humantarian issues and angie lobbying n the whitehouse. They are both very visible outside hollywood and the only time you see them a lot in hollywood premises when promoting films. they dong hang out w/ hollywood people tht much unless its necessary. I believe admirers and fans of these couple don’t buy ragazines because it’s all bs. maybe , if they will tell good stories about them , probably it would sell.
As far as jen being the topselleller, well, it’s obvious her fans and sympathizer or shall i say women who relates their life to her buys the rags.all these topseller b.s in rags won’t translate you to become a real moneymakers as far as cinema’s goes. So, I think it is really good tht jp’s stupid covers don’t sell, and people are getting smarter EXCEPT for some who has a really lonely world can buy all the tabbies for satisfaction knowing somebody out there who has all the money and yet is still unhappy… is a good relief. I don’t know if she (Jen) is lonely or not but tabs making her appear tht way because they know foolish and gullible people will buy it.

What happend to Zac Efron? he sells millions of magazines yet he’s not on this list? That may be a good thing. Don’t want to ruin a career before it really gets going.

It only shows that people (mostly frustrated, ditched females) can’t get enough of the Triangle. They want to see someone who’s constantly down on her luck because it makes them feel better about their own lives, very much the same way they’re fascinated with train wrecks like Britney and Anna Nicole. Personally, I never buy anything with her on the cover.

Let’s look at the timeline.
Remember the 1st Forbes list saying Aniston has the best profit ratio? That list came out on 8/3/07.
Then, in September, there were several movie announcements on her. Co-incidence or conspiracy? Huvane must have paid someone to make the Forbes list to facilitate her movie pay negotiations.
Now, with this new list, Huvane must be up to something. I’m waiting to see what the future announcement is !!!! My speculations is that Aniston’s agent may be working on some kind of deals relating to her ugly face on some magazine. May be a spokesperson of something.
