Joaquin Phoenix @ LAX Airport
Joaquin Phoenix, puffing away on a cancer stick, grows a pair of wings and catches a flight out of LAX airport on Wednesday in Los Angeles. The smoking (figuratively and literally) actor was seen hugging, presumably, family.
Joaquin toted around a hot-as-Hades metallic duffel bag by Diane Von Fursternberg.
Mr. Phoenix is on his way to do more press for his upcoming film Reservation Road costarring Jennifer Connelly, Mark Ruffalo, Mira Sorvino and Elle Fanning. The drama thriller will be released nationwide on October 19.

if you go over the the DJ website and read the Playboy interview you will see that one of his answers was that he ” doesn’t have a sweet tooth”…it is actually a good read…check it out….another indication that this story is bullsh*t….he says he craves vegetables and salads…how cute!
And he said something like recently someone tried to set h im up with a girl so he probably just started dating this chick
I don’t think he’s with the girl on the LA airport’s photos because he told himself this story about someone who followed while he was walking to his girlfriend’s house to pick her up at dinner.
So she lives in NY and don’t see why the other girl wouldn’t have travelled with him, he’s not obsessive to this point.
So maybe his story is true or not but the facts are the facts, his girlfriend lives there and I’m sure one day, during these next months we’ll talk about it again.
BTW, it’s the same thing about this Katie something, we just saw him once with her, walking down the street, without holding hands and everybody said they were together, crazy, really!!
How many times do people have to say it. It doesn’t matter who he is dating because his career ALWAYS comes first and it’ll spell the end of this relationship just like it has with so many of his others. This girl will fall by the wayside once he is working and he suddenly has zero time for her and once he has time again and wants a girlfriend to keep him entertained another one will be quickly chosen to fill the vacancy.
Simply put he is a user.
I just read. What a great interview… His interviews usually entertain me as he is a complex person with different views about Hollywood and stardom which I admire. More actors should be like him…
the bakery on ludlow is vegan, so if the story is true then it was a vegan cookie anyway, plus not all cookies are sweet, there are savoury cookies. #329, you seem so sure she will go by the wayside, there is always a first time, I believe every girl he dates for a period he loves & he must treat them well otherwise we would hear about him. None of them or their friends & family talk about him to the media, surely if he was such an **** to these girls he dates someone would say something.

We really have no clue what’s going on with him. We’ve had a few sparce details into this lovelife/girlfriend, but he could be single for all we know. Alot of interviews take place way before they’re published. Months, in fact. The NY girl he referred to could have been Teuta, or someone else he’s not with anymore. The LAX girl could be his new girlie. Or he could have 20 girls all over the Country, just trying them on for size before he makes a decision. He sounds almost single in the Playboy interview–a friend wanting to set him with a girl, etc. Who knows. It’s possible to hold hands and cuddle with someone and not be in a serious relationship with them. I’ve been there, as I’m sure many of you have been too. Maybe it’s a guy thing.
Um, The Cake Shop is not vegan. It doesn’t even hardly qualify as a bakery. It’s more of a bar with a kick-ass selection of wine and beer. They get their pastries from Balthazars with is SO NOT VEGAN.
I live in nyc. The bakery that person on teddy and moos says she saw him is NOT vegan. And I noticed as soon as someone posted it wasn’t a vegan shop the person NEVER returned to the board. The story is fake. To get people to gossip about it like you all are doing therefore you are doing just what the liar who made that story up wanted you to do.
Ok I don’t get why people assume that its not the girl in the picture just because she was seen in LA. You DO know people TRAVEL right? She could have TWO homes for all you know or just went to LA on business. He IS with her, he wouldn’t be hanging around a very young girl who looks so his type if they were just “friends”. He is with her period. And he will dump her and move on to someone else.

the person who posted the story on IMDB (lovelyleigh…I believe her name is)…now just wrote and said that the store was vegan…maybe she came on here and read nyc #338 post and decided to go back over there to say that it was…so dumb this whole thing….besides laci…how do you know for a fact that he “IS” with the girl in the LAX photos…oh wait…they were pictured together that must be why…again, so dumb.
OK, can someone confirm if the bakery is vegan or not, I believe it definately is, has been posted by more reputable poster plus his sister Summer’s shop is on Ludlow Street, that is a fact! & Marlow why so sure?

ok i know this is off the topic of whether it was a vegan bakery or not, but i had never heard of teuta before and i looked her up on myspace and this is her quote right now..

just interested me. i dont know if she really dated joaquin, but the quote is interesting. just wanted to know what everyone thinks.
GIVE IT UP PEOPLE! The sighting was a fake made by a joaquin hater to stir you guys up like a bunch of chickens with their heads cut off. She is laughing her ass off right now because it worked.
341, you’re the one who is dumb to believe this story. And he IS with this girl. Do you REALLY think he is with a young girl who couldn’t be more than 21, who has the SAME haircut teuta does, who is his EXACT type…but he WASN’T ******** her?! You have GOT to be kidding me. There is no way he would be hanging around a girl who looked like that if he wasn’t with her. NO WAY. And being the people at the airport said he hugged her goodbye (though they used the wrong name because they thought she was teuta) proves it even more that she is with him.
I doubt the storyteller is a joaquin hater. More like people make things up because they think his fans are total idiots and as you say it is very amusing to see them running round like headless chickens all the time every damn time with the absolute minimum of provocation. It’s a laugh riot.

THE CAKE SHOP IS NOT A BAKERY. Someone at Teddy and Moos pointed out something interesting about LovelyLeigh’s story. It’s too long to explain here, go check it out. Basically, why would she defend The Cake Shop or any store at all? She didn’t mention them in her posting. All she said was that she saw them walking down the street. She has no reason to get her panties in a bunch about vegan/non-vegan. But yet she does have her panties in a bunch. Leads me to believe that she was posing as different posters trying to make her story sound legit.
I am totally confused, I think its possible he was seen on Ludlow Street because of his sisters shop, whether he was with a girl who really knows, whether he was nibbling the girls cookie who knows, if he was then it would be vegan, maybe his siter made them! I can’t understand why someone would bother to make up the story, compared to other actors to me he is not seen around that often, & when he is out & about why is it so hard to believe he could be seen by somebody, why is it so unbelievable that he would be seen with a girl, I get everybodys point but I don’t know why the analysation. If I saw him somewhere I would want to tell somebody, whats wrong with that.
